I have lived here less then two months. About two weeks ago my 11 pound dog was viciously attacked by another residents very large dog. This was not 2 dogs playing and things got out of control. The attacking dog charged mine from 45 feet away. His owner, an older famale who walks with a cane is physically unable to keep control of her dog by leash. She lost control twice during the incident. This dog ran around me in circles as I held my dog over my head screaming for help. His leashe wrapped my legs numerous times, I was completely restrained. My dog was seriously injured. Property management

I've lived in this complex for 4 years, the staff that takes care of complex do their best. The staff in the office, however, do not care about the people that live here. They will not help you if there is a break in, noise complaints, vehicle damage, they will tell you to call the police and play themselves as the victim.
The place has definitely lost it's luster and I would take caution before applying for these rundown, overpriced apartments.

I am writing this in Feb 2021, one year into COVID. My youngest has her very first apartment here. She was a waitress and luckily saved money because she lost her job. She has never been late on rent. Her lease expires on Mar 1st. She gave Altamira a 30 day notice in person. The staff told her the contract when read with a magnifying glass states a 60:day notice is required and made her sign a one month lease and then tacking on an additional $400. My kid explained her job situation, but there was no compassion or relief from Altamira. If this can happen to her, it can happen to anyone there so

Well, me and my Mum and brother have lived here for a year and a half. When we first moved in my mom had a hurt foot and my brother was about a year old. Since she had a hurt foot she could barely go up the stairs. Also, it hurt her foot to walk. So she had a stroller to get my brother to the car and back. Since her foot was hurt, she left it at the bottom of the stairs. THEN THE WORKERS THREW IT AWAY BECAUSE SHE LEFT IT THERE 20 TIMES. Other than that it is really nice place! I really like the playground.

I have lived here for 5 months and have never been happier with an apartment complex. The staff in the main office is great, and the maintenance does a great job and usually always comes the day of the service request. Not only are the apartments great but the location is even better. Bear creek dog park is your back your with amazing Mountain View's. I have a view of Cheyenne mountain from my living room! On site laundry is cheap and great, along with the two pools, gym, clubhouse, volleyball court, basketball court etc.. It's a super safe location right off 21st street with the best
