My son moved in August 2020 and upon inspection, he was missing a ceiling fan. He placed the work order, took photos, and was patient. He made several work orders, and with each one was a promise of the next day. A month later they installed his fan.
The parking situation is horrendous! For the type of rent he pays, they should be tripping over themselves to fix anything pdq (PRETTY DAMN QUICK)!

Stay away ! My car has been broken into 3x and I stay on the top floor, they moved me into a unit that was completely different to what I was shown. Nonetheless the harassment I get from random people walking up and down the hallways just to get home . It's the middle of summer and currently it's 86 degrees in my apartment . I called yesterday morning to check on the status and was told it would be done by the end of the business day. It wasn't . I called back towards the end of the day and practically was told that if it's not 95 degrees it's not important and was told

Every female has an attitude in the office like you told them to get the terrible job. DO NOT MOVE HERE if you live here move out ASAP do not renew lease if you haven't had a problem you will and it will be the worse experience ever! The courtesy officer is a man who act like a female he not there to help you just to tow your car and make some side money.

I lived in Avana for about 5 months, and must I say it was probably the worst 5 months of my life. Not only does this building lack every aspect of security possible but they also do not take responsibility for the fact that they want you to pay for security that doesnt work. Almost every door in this building can be opened without a key fob, the garage will be broken for weeks at a time, at one point months. They have renovated some of the units to make them look prettier but they actually are very cheaply done, there was a serious mold issue in my bathroom that

This apartment was really disappointing for me, and I honestly can't wait to move out and never look back. The residents treat it horribly: dog remains in the stairwells and hallway on a regular basis, trash littered around, residents screaming in the poolside courtyard, and I never have cellphone service in my apartment or in the halls or the parking deck (AT&T and Verizon). I get regular emails about people's cars being broken into, which makes this place feel even more unsafe. Also, my roommate and I went 8 months with a dryer that was shredding our clothes and it took 8 months

I wanted to come back and give everyone an update. I spoke with the manager of Avana-Ms. Johnson about the experience I had had. She was more than willing to listen to me and acknowledge their shortcomings. She also related with me on some of my concerns and informed me of her plans to have the office running smoother in the near future. They were undergoing some staff and management changes during the time I applied. Therefore, I am updating my review to three stars for now. I appreciated her concern and efforts to accommodate my roommate and I. Now I can move into my apartment with peace of mind

The maintenance staff here is awesome! Xavier and Herbert, along with the rest of the staff, have been excellent, always fast, and always able to solve any problem that may arise. They've even stayed after hours to resolve a problem and make sure residents are taken care of. Not many problems to speak of, but as with any building, things come up, and it's nice to have a friendly helpful staff onsite to help :)

My husband and I love Avana. We wanted to find a mid-rise that was next to the city with reasonable pricing. In 2014, we considered Avana, the Apex and the Camden on 26th St. We chose Avana and have been here since because we love the access to midtown, there are great bars & late night food, karaoke, live music etc. Some of the things that we love most about Avana is: the spacious floor plans, attentiveness of the staff and team, a/c hallways lol (made the moving-in experience pleasant), and overall quiet to modest noise level.

This place is terrible. I'd give it a zero if I could. I've lived here 2 years and it just gets worse and worse. If you like a lot of trash and dog crap everywhere, this is your place. If you like a lot of incompetence and corporate indifference in the management company paid to oversee things work properly, this is your place. 2 months and 6 maintenance requests later, STILL no running dishwasher and no attempt to stop by the apartment to so much as figure out the problem. No concern fo customer service.

Nick the sales associate was really nice and very concerned about my needs . He found me the Perfect apartment… to fit my needs and he lived on the property himself so he was able to go into great details . I considered moving to Avana Westside last year, but changed my mind at the last minute. The apartments are nice and the prices are low for the area, but overall the complex gives me a college dorm vibe. The building are closed in and the hallways smell like trash. There were stains on the carpets. This may work for some, but not me.

We were hoping that the leasing staff is reasonable and understanding. After confrontation, we were so wrong. We have been living here for 3 years.
On November 2016, we have technical problem with the website where the online payment of rent did not give us confirmation email and the balance does not reduce to 0 USD. Usually for every other month, after hitting the submit button the website would then refresh with 0 USD remaining and confirmation email would come through. For November 2016 we tried to submit the payment at night and nothing happened for FOUR times we tried.

The price is the cheapest in town, FOR A REASON. we have reported trash problems to management on multiple occasions, including today, where our on premise agent basically said, there is nothing that they can do... if people litter, thats their problem and they cant stop it.
They then gave some vague answers the grounds keeper and the fact that he or she doesnt have a "set schedule". This is the only apartment that i have lived that has ever had such poor attention to the garbage lying around the facility, and the fact that they are dismissive of how disgusting
