Jamie has been an absolute lifesaver! My original apartment ended up being a massive disaster and Jamie took care of me super quickly and got me into a beautiful, completely renovated apartment. She told me when checking in that a post needed replaced on my balcony and before I had even started unpacking maintenance was there working on it.

I relocated from almost four hours away and subsequently had to do everything over the phone and through email contact. My experience with this transition has been amazing. The staff here has gone above and beyond to accommodate me. They have been extremely helpful and very professional. I was worried about moving from so far and not seeing the apartment first but I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the apartment and the size of it as well. Overall no complaints at all from me.

TL;DR: Apartment was in such bad shape, I moved less than a month into a 12-month lease.
It says a lot about the business practice of the property when they willingly rent out a dwelling in such poor condition.
Be very careful renting from building 5 and any of the associated studio/efficiencies, these units were completely totaled during Winter Storm Uri and I worry about the quality of construction of the entire building. Electrical and plumbing seems really poorly done. See other reviews for photos.

I am a resident at Dakota Ridge Apartments and have to share my horrible experience with the public. Renters be aware! They are extremely unprofessional, rude and have gotten to the point of harassment.
I live in the studio apartment (efficiency, how they call it) and had multiple pipes burst, leaks that continued for almost 2 weeks and walls/ceilings/floors saturated in water. This was a common issue in all the studio apartments, as we have spoken to countless neighbors, some who had the ceiling fall in on them (3 different resident accounts of this happening). Madera Properties has better second chance leasing Properties in the metroplex. $30/ month for uncovered parking that’s not even close to your door. A handful of handicap accessible parking throughout the complex. Reserved parking that no one parks in. Someone made a compliant to the right people recently because they freed up a few spaces.
If you must move in, make your lease short and enjoy the constant uhauls of people wanting to get away from here. (Peep the top review from the moving company. LOL)

Staff was very professional and polite the maintenance men didn't go in front of me they held the door and offered me to go in first before them, everyone was polite friendly and wore smile. First impressions is lasting impressions that is a true saying,l love the place . Even with other residents who came in they was treated the same way with a smile and they listen you don't find that too often nowadays they rush you off nice place well kept

These apartments are not that bad for the price. The staff is friendly and informative. Rosa was helpful and a great guide. Just had issues with paying rent online. It is difficult if 2 or more are paying the rent. Also the parking at night is irritating as well. Aside from that not a bad place to live.

Sooooo very very very crazy. I applied with my mom as a co-signer (guarantor). Her credit is 743, as she's a nurse in California (makes 83 dollars an hour) you can do the math yourself. Credit check came back and it says she has 0 credit. Not bad credit but no credit at all . So not only is the application 65 dollars a person and you pay an 100 application deposit. For both of us it cost 230 yes I will get the 100 application back but you can see the scam in this already. They took my money and offered no explanation other than call the credit company number. Meanwhile I applied to the Watermarke

Have been a resident here going on 6 years. 2 months ago I decided to move. The apartment fell through at the last minute. Dakota ridge came to my rescue. They worked hard to get me an apartment ready within a couple of days. All new appliances to my surprise. I have never had an issue with maintenance for more than 24 hours. Great bunch of people. The NEW manager even got me my 2 bedroom apartment cheaper than my previous rental fiasco. Great job.
