I absolutely love being an optometrist and getting to know my patients personally! Practicing as a low vision specialist is incredibly rewarding. I enjoy helping children and adults be able to function better in their daily lives by improving their visual functioning with low vision aids.

My call requesting an appointment was addressed promptly and courteously. All information I received from front desk staff, technicians, and the doctor was thorough and clear. Everyone was kind and so responsive! I learned so much from the Doctor. I left the office feeling cared for, listened to, and well informed.

Absolutely the WORST service ever. Front desk is lazy and rude with zero interest in assisting with anything. All of them should go work a year at the mall at a really tough service job. Maybe they would learn something but they seem to stupid to do even that. There are plenty of much better places to go than this F grade dump

All the staff were very professional and efficient. I've worn glasses since I was 5 and always dreaded trying on new frames because I have a hard time finding the right fit for a small face and narrow eyes. Gabriela made me feel so comfortable and brought me her recommendations. I've never tried on multiple frames that I liked the same day as my exam. I even had a hard time deciding because she did so great. Thank you Gabriela for making the most stressful part of my eye exams enjoyable!

The high scores are about the doctors. The low scores are about the receptionists. I agree with the low scores. We never got past the receptionist. There was an error that the automated system made and somehow it was our fault. My husband and I both got texts stating 4/4:15 respectively but when we got there they wanted to argue with us that we were told (by a faulty automated system) that it was 3:30. Even with texts as proof. Again, like others have mentioned, no apologies mentioned, no ownership of the errors the automated system made. Just rude behavior even though they represent the system

I came here to get an Rx for contacts and a new pair of glasses. They have a very unique set of glasses to choose from and Joe from the was so helpful! By far the best glasses experience I've ever had - thanks to Joe. I'm so happy with the glasses he helped me find - they are comfortable and stylish!

Today was my first time going to Northwest Hills eye care and I will definitely be returning. The office was clean and everyone took care to clean everything thoroughly. They even wiped down my insurance card and license after they handed it back! The staff was very kind and quick. I was only waiting a few minutes before being called back. The technician was thorough and knowledgeable. Dr Schutte was friendly, thoughtful, and took the time to explain things to me. The person who helped me pick out glasses was fun to partner with. After a several years of coming to Northwest Hills EyeCare I experienced the worst customer service ever. I called to find out what I had to do about getting my daughters broken glasses replaced and got through to an answering machine. I left a message and they returned the call when it was impossible for me to answer so I missed out and had to call back again. This time I got a receptionist who directed me to the frames people who's answering machine I got. I don't think I received a call back from them. My wife called and got an answering machine and no return call back. Finally I had

Joe Gonzalez has been fantastic to work with over the last two years. As a matter of fact, we continue to seek out his guidance and expertise from Meridian, ID. Even long distance, Joe has been able to fill our four year old's prescriptions and accommodate our requests. This place was terrific. Dr. Wood took so much time with mom, explaining everything and was very, very thorough. Then, she offered some suggestions to help mom see better that were age appropriate and economically reasonable. Wow! Why didn't I think of that! The staff definitely liked to laugh and the gal that helped us choose frames couldn't have been more pleasant. Their prices seemed very reasonable, as well. I plan to come here for my own eye exam and glasses in the near future. Huge selection of frames and all the important gadgets and gizmos to get the job done. Fun, nice, caring

My whole family has been seeing Dr. Miller since 2007. We all adore her and now we really like Dr. Stola too. They have been with us through eye infections, allergy seasons, new glasses, a lazy eye (fixed!), myopia and more. All four of us wear glasses and two of us wear contacts on a regular basis.
The entire staff is always nice and helpful. They always greet me immediately when I walk in the door and the check out process is generally quick.

I went to NW Hill Eyecare for a little over 3 years. The service and staff for the first couple were excellent. This last year, unfortunately, has been a terrible experience in my opinion.
I agree with all the other posts about the staff being difficult to deal with. I had to regularly call 2-3 times and leave multiple voicemails to finally get a return call back. When you do FINALLY get the staff on the phone, they normally act like you are inconveniencing them by calling.
I ordered contacts this past January and found out that one box did not come in with the shipment after driving over to
