Why we chose not to rent from River's Edge Apartment Homes. We were planning to rent a 2 bedroom apartment but the first lease we received had the wrong lease term. We contacted the leasing office and we were told we would be sent a revised lease. The revised lease was never sent. During this same conversation with the leasing agent I asked questions regarding poor reviews I had read about the apartment complex. I wanted to know if they had taken actions to improve known issues. The leasing agent became defensive and told me "you can always leave and not rent here". We were not refunded our $300

They are the worse! They don’t try and help their renters! The parking is the worse! Also the people over there are not nice someone was leaving notes on my car and on my apartment door. I told the building managers but they basically laughed about it and nothing was done! The garbage guy comes whatever time he feels like it! I wouldn’t suggest anybody to move here!

We moved here 13 months ago, and I have to admit I am thankful to be moving out. We only extended our lease an extra month due to finding another place in Knoxville to live.
The apartments are spacious and located in south Knox, an upcoming neighborhood with local beer and parks in abundance. It was the perfect place for us as out-of-towners to find great neighborhoods to visit and explore. And, we were hopeful that due to the high cost ($1300+/month for a two bed/two bath waterfront 3rd floor unit) it would deter partying students from UT, but it didn't (oftentimes with parents footing

Great apartment and love the location! If you are active and enjoy running, walking, or biking this apartment location is perfect. However, if you want to have guests over at your apartment, this complex is not for you! There are no designated visitor parking spots, let alone barely enough parking for the tenants. So when you have visitors over on the weekends, they have a company patrol and boot visitors’ cars, charging a $75 fine.

For as many floors the stairs are ridiculous. However the location is perfect for down town. Most apartments have a view of the river. I've had clients that live here and some of their apartments haven't been completely clean to satisfactory standards upon entry on move date. That doesn't reflect the rental agency itself however. Only their cleaning staff. Besides this. Clean parking lot. Compact trash. If you love down town it's right there. Some say location is everything...

I never thought about leaving a yelp review for an apartment complex but here i am! All businesses need love! To start off, every time there was an issue it is addressed immediately. Maintenance and management communicate well. Never had issues with parking and always ended up finding parking. This place is pet friendly and every pet I have met around this complex has been so friendly. The appliances in my apartment seemed brand new and work great. There is an airport near by but it has never bothered me from living on the third floor. I saw a review of the floor staining. I have always walked

I had to make my moving decision very quickly. I researched online using the square footage I needed and my budget. River's Edge was one of five communities that fit. I made an appointment, I was welcomed on time and the staff was very patient allowing me to take my time looking around and answering my questions. This was my first stop which meant everywhere else I looked already had a high standard to meet and none of them were even close to the quality of this apartment complex and staff.

Absolutely love living here! Management can be a little slow getting to requests about certain things but maintenance is always so prompt and everyone who works here is genuinely kind and wanting to help you!

River’s Edge is amazing. Brand new-ish (2016) well-built apartments, with lots of room and far more affordable than the ones right downtown. It’s a 5 minute Lyft ride to downtown and you don’t have to deal with the gameday traffic from 109,000 UT fans swarming the streets. The management (Brad) is awesome and helpful, additionally making my transition from one apartment here to another at the end of my original lease completely seamless. The maintenance person at River’s Edge is prompt and really nice. He came the day after Christmas and fixed our heat that was out when we returned Christmas
