Merchant Real Estate was founded by Wayne Chan, a passionate real estate broker with over three decades of experience on both the commercial and residential sides of the business. Wayne, along with the rest of the team, are all long-time residents of San Francisco and the surrounding areas. We know the Bay area with an intimate level of detail that few can match.

We really enjoyed our experience with Merchant Real Estate. Wayne was the property manager for our last apartment and he really did an exceptional job. We had a few problems with the apartment we lived at over the years and he was always very responsive and send someone to fix it right away. Moving in and moving out were seamless and Wayne was always very accommodating and easygoing about the whole process. On top of being a great property manager, we really liked Wayne as a person also. He is very genuine and overall, just a nice person that wants to help and make things easier for you. Overall

I lived for 7 years in an Apartment managed by Merchant Real Estate and I can say that one of the reasons I stayed in that place that long is partly thanks to them.
Wayne Chan was always very helpful and quick to fix any issue I've had, though I can't remember having more than 4 or 5 all these years!
They were also very helpful with the whole moving out paperwork and apartment inspection.
I can only hope the company managing my new place is as good as them!
