Harvey W. Young is the President and Founder of Young & Associates Property Management. With over thirty-five years of real estate experience, he brings a unique insight into the management of communities. Regardless of the size and number of units, Young & Associates Property Management is focused on creating a better lifestyle for the communities of families they manage, while enhancing and protecting a family's most valuable asset, their home.
Knowing that your site is well managed and maintained reduces your stress, improves tenant relations and increases profitability. Successfully managing properties, from small strata estates to multi-million dollar properties, requires an experienced property manager who has the expertise to maximize results and accomplish lucrative long term results.
Knowing that your site is well managed and maintained reduces your stress, improves tenant relations, and increases profitability. Often owners that live in communities with Home Owner Associations (HOA) are confused or uncertain about the management of common areas or elements in condominiums.

Questions about the responsibility of making repairs and other maintenance operations lie with the Association or with an individual unit owner is quite common. This can, at times, be attributed to the interpretation of HOA documents. Common elements or areas include recreation facilities such as swimming pools, gymnasiums or clubhouses; streets, parking, landscaping, laundry rooms, and fences, as well as any other areas that are used jointly.
Successfully managing properties, from small strata estates to multi-million dollar properties, requires an experienced property manager who has the expertise to maximize results and accomplish lucrative long term results. Financial management, real estate asset management, and overall fiscal management is a critical part of this entire process.
Over time, everything wears out. Most Homeowners Associations are responsible for repairing, replacing, or maintaining the common areas and any other element of the common property identified in the Homeowners Association by-laws. A reserve study provides a current estimate of the costs of repairing and replacing major common area components (such as roofs or pavement) over the long term.

Not professional at all. Today, Harvey yelled at my wife on the phone and I own an apartment, asking him to do his duty of maintenance, but no one hears that they take money monthly and no one sees them. And in the end he says to my wife: Do not call again, we will not help you. I tell you that your office is charging money to do the maintenance of our apartment unit

They don't give a crap about anyone! I have the noisiest neighbor upstairs and the rules are 80% of the floor needs to be carpeted. Well I have been fighting with management for months to get them to put carpet In. Many emails to management and NOTHING has been done! They just don't care and letting this building literally fall apart!

I share the sentiment of many of the reviews that I have read. The CSRs that I have dealt with were unresponsive (but not rude). I have been trying to get them to enforce the bylaws with a neighbor for over 2 years. I have struggled with whether they are apathetic or incompetent and my conclusion vacillates. That being said, they respond to every 4th email with more promises.
I do not see how anyone would purposely choose to work with them or in a building that they manage. I have been extremely patient and they have been extremely underwhelming.

Special thanks to Ms Erika Mendez. Her approach and support is consistently prompt and professional.
We have recently moved into Wesmont Liberty Square. And prior experience with HOA have been nothing but a nightmare. However, Young & Associate HOA have redefine our thoughts and perceptions of HOA. They are extremely creative in dealing with complex issues. The staff are relatable and represents appropriate diversity of gender and race equality.
Best regards,
Yanneth

Emilie was tremendous help finalizing my refinance process with Chase Bank as I almost lost opportunity to lower my mortgage interest rate by 1% due to the Building Ordinance Insurance requirement issue. Emilie was quick to realize this time sensitive issue & contacted State Farm to add the part3 of Bear Brook townhome's coverage. (for additional construction costs incurred as the result of local building laws, which contains three coverages, usually known as parts A, B and C.)
Although I had to pay $880 for Part C, it was definitely worth it as future interest savings can be more than tens of

Harvey is the worst property manager I personally had to work with. His company website’s states they have 24 hour emergency services. We lost power and PSE&G said we needed to contact our property manager. It took multiple calls and emails to finally reach Harvey 15 hours later. We agreed to meet at a specific time, and Harvey shows up an hour later without a text or phone call. Harvey also mentioned we never pressed “1” for the emergency services. When I pushed back, and said there was only an option to leave a voicemail with the operator which I did multiple times. Harvey had the audacity

I have been working with Young and Assoc. for almost 30 years, and I have found them to be honest and have integrity in every situation of my experiences. They always try there best to make the right decision and worry about the impact of others . I would highly recommend them as managers.

We live in the Liberty Square at Wesmont Station community. The HOA managed by Young & Associates has been absolutely abysmal. Their selected vendors are incompetent, lazy, and take shortcuts. They are very good at impressions and present with professionalism, but with no follow through. Pulte dropped the ball on this. Do better.

Run far away if you have to deal with Y&A. They truly do not care in the slightest. It’s a constant game of beat around the bush and back and forth emails of ‘Unfortunately I have no answer right now. Thank you for understanding’. Over 50 other residents have the same concern, and after 4 months of Y&A failing to do their job, we’ve contacted our lawyer.

I returned from vacation earlier today only to find a wasps nest outside the sliding glass door. I called emergency # twice and no response. I even sent email around 1 o’clock. I attached 2 videos as well.
It’s a holiday weekend however, my son is allergic to stings. It’s now 6 pm and no return call. I really don’t know why you have a emergency number if your employees don’t respond. Will I be reimbursed for a exterminator to come?
I highly doubt it.
IF FOR ANY REASON THIS HOA IS VOTED IN... I SUGGEST YOU MOVE.
Funny thing 45 min after this post I get a phone call from Harvey Young

Stay away. Rude, condescending and unprofessional. Like others said, no customer skills at all. They will make decisions and spend your money without authorization. They do not take responsibility when they mess up. They have zero regard for your by-laws and how things are supposed to be processed when working with a board.

This company on the exterior appears to be professional and thorough. Once you are involved in any type of situation, their true colors come out.
They are extremely unprofessional, especially Phillis and the head of the company. They do not treat you with respect. I feel so bad for their employees who go over and beyond in their work. This company does not deserve to have such employees. They seem to take full advantage of them. There has to be much better companies and people to do business with than the people that run this one.

I have been active on the Baridge House Board of Directors as a Treasurer and as a Secretary and have had extensive experience with management companies over the last ten or so years. I have worked closely with Young as Associates for most of that time. They have been with us through a lobby renovation, a three level parking garage renovation, resurfacing of our swimming pool and surround as well as many other smaller projects. They are very well versed in physical building issues. They attend our monthly meetings and provide needed information to the Board on issues and alternatives. Their accounting

I became President of my Association in January 2013. I have been working with Harvey and Phyllis for almost two years now. Last year our Association was putting in a new road as we are a private road and it is the responsibility of our association not the Borough. I worked with Harvey and he had a very in-depth knowledge of what challenges we faced with the road and he worked closely with the company who was installing the new road. I had many questions during the process and Harvey (and Phyllis) were never too busy to answer my questions and came to our development to meet with the contractor
