Crowne At Briargate

I'll preface this with - I don't live here yet. Hopefully soon. But I went in this week to tour and I worked with Rey and they were awesome! I really like this community. Everyone in the office was super friendly. They have a 2 bedroom floorplan that I really like. As long as something opens up in my time frame with the floorplan I want, I plan on moving here. I'll update this review once I move in.

The buildings are nasty… The hallway walls are dirty, and dusty. residents doors are scratched and look very worn. Hard to believe this place has only been open a couple years. Someone’s review before was saying to walk through the hallways at night and we did, residents don’t have to take their own trash out so their are bags of trash laying on the ground everywhere…? Definitely not a place to bring a guest kind of surprising to see how messy everyone’s trash is. The floors don’t look clean.
Looks like there is plenty of parking around the buildings.

My partner has lived here for more than a year. They advertise a heated, year round pool, but the heater has been broken this entire time.
Otherwise nice, but the false advertising is frustrating (somehow this pool is freezing even in the peak of summer!

I’ve been living here for a few months now and it’s been amazing so far. Granted, I haven’t had any maintenance calls and my building is very quiet (I’m also on top floor). The property stays maintained and esp through the winter season, they worked tirelessly. They’re very communicative and I really do like living here! For the most part, people pick up their animals sh!ts 😆

Unfortunately I had a lackluster experience when viewing one of the layouts with my sister.
We are from California and I accompanied my sister in her search for possible apartments in Colorado Springs. We were very excited as this is a big move for her however upon arrival we experienced poor customer service.
We were accompanied by two women who had little no no information about the apartment that they were showing. Just as an example my sister asked how much on average is the monthly on the apartment layout we were viewing and in response she said “ it’s too complicated to explain.”

I have lived here for a little over a year now and have been in 3/4 buildings. This will be a long review and multi sectioned.
Build Quality: 2/5
Having lived in three out of the four buildings here the consistency of build quality is massively inconsistent. Baseboards are 1X4's, textured walls mixed with very low quality paint makes them impossible to clean, have had multiple walls that are not square to the rest of the apartment. I was recently moved from my second apartment to a third after a major incident flooded me out of my last apartment, more on this later. After I was moved into this

I moved into this community last month. I love this place. I really have no reason to complain. The community is neat and clean.
I love it that the apartments have bigger kitchen than other community. They have newer alliances.
When we moved in, the apartment looked almost brand new. I thank the management for doing a good job cleaning up the place before renting it out.
The best selling point of this community is the location. The Cordera area is gorgeous. There are places around to have a great evening walk.

I love the staff and the apartments, dont get me wrong. They are wonderful. But my apartment didn't come with a closet for my vacuum and to hang jackets in the front entry. They have tried to resolve it by putting shelving over my washer and dryer. Which won't hold my vacuum...they also said they would move me but im a disabled vet and cant move my things and refuse to pay to have it moved due to no fault of milk e. also there is a light right out front of my bedroom window. This they are fixing by giving me an extra shade. I am a disabled vet and didn't know we couldn't smoke on the property u

This place was really nice upon opening, but it has gone severely downhill in the last 8 months. There is a huge staff turn over, and the staff (besides Drew who is awesome) is completely unprofessional. You cannot have any sort of conversation with the staff without them being rude and disrespectful and acting as if you are interrupting their day.
Apartments are overpriced and extremely cheap quality. For example, the day we moved in, we opened a window and it broke. Even after it was fixed, we could feel cold wind gusts coming through all the windows. The textured kitchen/dining room walls are

Moved in on Saturday and they made the process so easy. Crowne had 2 moving carts(like they have at hotels) to help and we were able to leave all our moving boxes outside our door and they came and took them to the dumpster for us. The apartments are absolutely beautiful and the staff has been so nice and helpful. Crowne at Briargate is a beautiful place to call home!
