Services
All residents are required to carry Renters Insurance with a minimum of $100,000 personal liability coverage and a minimum of $10,000 personal property coverage. The community must also be listed as an "Additional Interest" or "Interested Party". Water damage liability and dog bite liability coverage is included (these are not typically included in standard policies).
Each of our communities has its own friendly, professional management team, so we can maintain the quality of your community and respond to your needs throughout the day. Our Resident Portal and App allow you to pay rent, submit a service request, or connect with your management team whenever you need to.

I’ve been living here for a while now and honestly it’s perfect. I was a little apprehensive on moving here after reading the reviews but my approval, move in, and living was/is smooth. Marquita & Katie C. Are always a huge help. Maintenance is friendly and complete request quickly. The neighborhood is very quiet and I never have any issues with parking issues. 10/10 highly recommend. Also, If you have children there is a indoor playground 4 minutes away.

We've been very impressed with McKinney Village so far. Marquita was a huge help prior to our move, and continued to be very helpful and accommodating while we were getting our final information in order. Something that left a good impression on us was how comfortable and helpful other tenants coming into the leasing office were.
All in all, we've encountered nothing but friendly and helpful people, and are looking forward to living here very much.

My mother and brother went to these apartments after completing application online. When they arrived there, she was told she was approved, so she needed a money order so I drove from Sherman to Mckinney to drop off MO because she has dr appointment. They said she could bring in the deposit after the appointment. they got back and they staff member said to put Mckinney Village in payee. Not even two minutes they came back and said she didn’t meet qualifications. You can’t tell me you didn’t know and i think they were pulling a scam. So now we have to go through a 45 day claim to get money

I have to say that the agents seem nice enough however communication seems to be lacking at this complex. The initial agent I worked with was Katie and she was nice. I was told that I was approved and would receive a letter welcoming me to the community with my deposit information. What I wasn't told was was that I would receive an email outlining a deposit bond and attached to that email was a letter outlining a separate security deposit.
I'm not upset about the deposit or even the deposit bond. I'm more upset with the lack of communication. I'm already leasing an apartment that I didn't get

I am a nurse who works across the street. I had multiple issues here including the "security gates" which NEVER worked. I was in building one and the entire time anyone could walk into our building. At one point my front door electronic key fob did not works- that took DAYS to get resolved. meaning I could not lock my apartment when I left for work. Upon moving in I made the staff aware that I was in the middle of a divorce and still handling custody proceedings...I ended up having to break my lease early and that is where the nightmare continued. The apartment layout is good. Love the large kitchen and bathroom. I'd like to see a lighting fixture in the living room and bathroom(near bathtub). They said I can go buy them myself and install if I want. The stairwells could use more frequent cleaning. And there happen to be a lot of barking dogs nearby. With all that said , I'm still overall satisfied with the place,

I called this morning to ask about rates and the woman over the phone was extremely rude. She told me she couldn't give me exact rates because there were no units available, which I understand, that makes sense. But it was the way she spoke to me, just sounded so rude and apathetic. I was just trying to get an idea of what their average rates were going for, either around the 1k range or 2k range, to see if I was even interested in checking back for availability in a few weeks or not. Well I'm definitely NOT interested in calling back now after that rude exchange over the phone.

My husband and I enjoyed living here. We rate the apartment complex very highly--especially the gym. We generally had very good experieces speaking with the majority of staff (Katie, Chelsea & Nichole for example)--who were kind and courteous. However, we did not have a positive experience with Marquita Mullins. We specifically worked with her during the application process and applied for / discussed a certain apartment layout but upon move in we unfortunately walked into an apartment that was not the layout applied for or discussed. I just moved into this apartment complex and needless to say, it is a beautiful clean area and staff is so sweet and assisted me with my millions of questions. The building I live in is quiet and perfect for me working remote. I have a big dog and having a dog park here is so smart for people with fur babies. Since my move in, I've noticed they have events on certain days where people apart of the community can come and get together. Such a great idea. A big thanks to Marquita and Thanks to McKinney Village!

My youngest daughter found this place looking at apartment after apartment and her initial thought about this community... the office staff is so nice and responsive. Made her want to live there! She toured the place with Chelsea, communicated with both Marquita and Nichole and never once felt like her young age was an issue. I’ve corresponded with the office and the timely response is like no other! Their kindness, timeliness, attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond is A+++! Thank you ladies!

This has a been a review coming for a while. I forgot to review this place after departing but anywho where to start:
Pros: Convenient to local shops and resturants around Mckinney/Fairview area, quiet area, expressway is just a couple of feet away, and spacious apartment for the price at the time I was there. They are also surrounded by many types of doctors offices and the medical city hospital. I also loved the previous owners, Lincoln property, before ZRS management taken over.
Cons: The floors are paper thin that you literally can hear someone flushing the toilet or their cellphone vibrating

Extremely unhappy with this "Establishment". My fiance and I had plans to move here but we recently found out we are expecting! Due to financial and insurance purposes (we would lose coverage for the pregnancy and the baby) we could not move to Texas. We reached out to the apartment and asked for some mercy getting out of the lease. We signed the lease on January 23, 2019. Not yet occupying the apartment since we were still out of state in less than 30 days of the start of our lease we tried to send in a letter for early termination. They told us the amount due to terminate would be over

We recently chose to make the move here from Colonial Grand At Fairview, 5 min away from this location and i don't regret it one bit. Jacob is amazing when it comes to advice on which apartment is perfect for you and he helps you with everything along the way. I love the fact that we have elevators and the halls are quiet and clean. Modern and elegant also super affordable. I love it i love it!

I'm big on reviews so I don't write this lightly. Not family friendly/ not a complex suitable for toddlers. This apartment community is very beautiful but cheaply made as you can hear neighbors. My family member lived here so we went to visit him, my daughter has autism and is 4 years old. So as we entered the apartment she decided to start doing cartwheels and immediately there was banging from a neighbor under us and it frightened her. You've been warned.

This property is beautiful and quiet, and the staff, particularly Jacob, was very amenable and helpful. I had weighed my options for quite some time on a place to live in McKinney, and he was very open to negotiation, and very patient with me. He kept me up-to-date on specials and price changes, and always kept in touch with swift responses.
The interior of the units are gorgeous and do not make you feel like you are living in another cookie-cutter shaped people-box. The prices are comparable to all nearby luxury properties. I highly recommend if you are looking for a place to live, go to this

This is a wonderful place to live! Beautiful property, well built, great location, high quality interior, nice amenities, amazing staff. The whole package.
My mom has lived here for over a year and it's a nice mix of young professionals, seniors and families. Feels safe.
It's a bit weird to find at first. It's not on the main road by the hospital although the front entrance is through there. Turn away from the hospital into the medical offices and office condos and look straight ahead. There is also access from Highway 5.
