Bristol Family Eyecare is a full-service vision center offering quality eye exams, corrective eyewear, and eye disease management to patients throughout the Austin metro area. Our mission is to be a partner in our patients' decisions about their eye health and use our care to enrich their lives.
When Bristol Family Eyecare was founded by Dr. Dan Bristol in 2004, it was in a small space, but we had big goals to become a part of our patients' lives.Since then, we've grown and expanded to meet the needs of our community. Our Bee Cave office is now in a space triple the size of the original. We've added new doctors, and new locations in Lakeway and Georgetown.

These folks have it all together. Appointments are net on time with courtesy. Information is explained in detail. Equipment appears to be top of the line and very fast and efficient. I needed a upgrade to my lenses and able to purchase the lenses and frames right there with a two week wait. The price was higher than I have paid on prior glasses but the experience was totally worth the extra expense.

I extended my Texas travels in Austin and did not have enough contact lenses to get me through. A quick call and text of my Rx and voila, the great folks at Bristol provided me with some sample lenses to get me through. Totally outrageous customer service! My daughter & I had our first time appointments with Dr. Bristol this week and we both received exceptional service! Ernell (front desk), Adrian (technician), Tadeo (technician), Kayley (optician), Carly (office mgr) & Dr. Bristol ~ all treated me daughter & I with great care and everyone was gracious!! Very pleased with Dr. Bristol. He got my new contact prescription correct the first time. Working with the contact and glasses side, however, has been a nightmare. No one returns calls. Left 5 VMs over a 3 day period. No call back. Finally had to ask for a supervisor. Now in same routine trying to get my glasses. Never going back.
