Really wanted to like this place, everything seemed great until I got there. Now I'm just moving in and ran into a bunch of cleaning issues. Most of my kitchen cabinets interior are sticky and dirty. I literally peeled trash out of it. When I told the office about it they were pretty upset saying that a third party is responsible of cleaning the apartments. Emailed them pictures and said they might be able to get someone to clean it. The next day they said that their third party cleaning companies don't clean the insides of the cabinets. (What? That's gross and there's stuff on the counters too

This place is just sort of fine. Not very nice, and you can find a way better deal somewhere else. Just head up the road to Homestead Apartments, seriously. The apartment buildings aren't really ever "clean", there was dropped burrito strewn across a stairwell for two-and-a-half weeks before it was cleaned up. the staff is friendly but in the end unhelpful, and there's a pretty bad leak in the laundry room of the building I've reported at least twice, once with a phone call and once in the office, and many weeks later the maintenance workers showed up only because they happened upon the leak in

The Pines is a solid location. Not too far from campus and only a short drive away from everything you need. The units are well insulated which is nice when it's super hot and you don't want to keep running the AC on all day. The apartments are well kept, provide plenty of space, and have first-come-first-serve additional storage in the basement for every building. Whenever I have any questions, the leasing office at Abbott Pointe has a friendly team that has really taken care of me.
