Services
Balanced Humans was founded in 2017 with the idea that employees can feel great during their workday. Energized and nourished teams strengthen their mindset and their work improves. Happy employees build a stronger workplace. Nadine Blinn is the founder and lead teacher at Balanced Humans. She is inclusive, open and energetic.
A one-hour session that dives into why we feel anxious about something that was only a year ago. We'll discuss how to use breathing techniques and mindfulness to address the fear of getting back into the office, going to dinner out in a restaurant again, and even small talk that used to be easy and every day.
Business conferences, team building exercises, lunch-n-learns or other special events are covered with Balanced Humans. Bringing yoga and meditation to your event can help conference attendees focus and retain information, reduce stress and fatigue, and bring a calm energy to those who attend. Attendees are more relaxed, tension reduced and productivity higher with yoga and fitness at your next event.
Yoga and meditation do not really require much, just your presence and a space in which you can sink into yourself. It's great if folks have a mat, yoga clothes, etc. but this can all be optional too. Balanced Humans offers classes that cater toward a full yoga class for an hour or a more gym-less/desk stretch style class.

We have used Balanced Office Humans do virtual yoga for nearly a year now. Offering a virtual class gives our team a mental break and physical wellness in the middle of a workday. Nadine is easy to work with from setting up classes, schedule changes and billing. The teachers from Balanced Humans are professional, timely and bring fun and challenging classes. The classes are a joy to participate in.

I love how Nadine teaches us meditation/relaxation techniques, stretches, and exercises that strengthen parts of the body that are commonly stressed by working in front of a computer. She also gives plenty of variations to moves so her class can really be catered to those who are beginners but also those who are more advanced. I highly suggest trying out a class! When I'm done, I always feel more relaxed (physically and mentally) which helps me focus and be productive for the remainder of the day.

I planned a 1-hour class in my workplace with Nadine, which was incredible! She gauged the skill-level of the room and was able to do a class that was challenging, yet energizing and relaxing all in one. The team loved it, and I felt sore (in a good way!) and charged up for days afterward. Nadine was so kind, fun, and engaging. :)

Balanced Humans Office Yoga can greatly improve your workplace environment. Nadine comes promptly, bi-weekly, to our office to lead a 30 minute yoga session. No mats, no gear, and no work out clothes are required. It allows my co-workers to have a mid-day break to move, stretch, and relax. Sessions are catered to the needs of those who are in attendance and Nadine provides variations of poses that accommodates all levels of experience. Co-workers and I leave refreshed, calm, and focused to enjoy the rest of the day.

Nadine has done a great job accommodating the different and unpredictable yoga needs of our shared office space. If you're wondering if Nadine's classes can work for a non-traditional office environment, from my experience they can!

My company contacted Nadine about teaching weekly classes for tenants in the 800 5th Ave building. She has been easy and awesome to work with and each week we have more and more participants. The sessions are a perfect balance of stretching and easy yoga poses, which Nadine demonstrates. We use "props" for balance or assistance where necessary and after 30 mins. I always feel relaxed but "bright" (the word Nadine uses to describe muscles as they stretch just beyond where they want to be). She concludes with a few minutes of quiet meditation, a dab of scented oil and a gentle shoulder adjustment

For many years, I was always slightly apprehensive about doing yoga as I had convinced myself that my body does not have the stretching capabilities that I believed were required. I was, however, still intrigued by it. But then I met Nadine, who convinced me to have a go at it by suggesting that I attend one of her classes.
As a complete beginner, I learnt very quickly that Nadine could put me completely at ease. To the point of even wondering why I had ever felt apprehensive in the first place! She has an excellent understanding and knowledge about what the human body can, and cannot do. And
