We have showings taking place every weekday and on Saturdays by appointment. Please call our office directly to check our schedule. In general, our appointments are scheduled same-day at a specific time, but please inquire about weekend or after-hour showings and we may be able to accomodate you. If you are interested in renting an apartment that you have seen in person, please request an application from the leasing agent upon arrival.
Rent must be paid by Check, Money Order or Cashier's Check (Apartments consisting of multiple bedrooms must pay with ONE CHECK monthly or by Cashier's Check only). Cash is not accepted. Rent is due on the first of each month. Residents may mail in their rent or deliver it to the office. If rent is not paid by the fifth of the month, rent is considered delinquent and tenants are subject to late fees per their lease.

This is a scam with unlivable conditions. Landlord will cash your rent check every month and then leave threatening letters saying rent hasn't been paid, asking for more money. Police and ambulance are called on a regular basis. Trash and rotten food are always piled in hallways and outdoors so high that rats , flies and roaches infest. Have had no A/C for months and despite numerous calls and letters, there is no response from anyone to come out to fix it. Tenants refused access to their own mailboxes. Windows are sealed shut and do not open from the inside, allowing NO ESCAPE IN THE EVENT OF

The office WONT ANSWER THE PHONE AT ALL. They are ABSOLUTELY I COMMUNICATED WITH THEIR CLIENTS. I even called an emergency number and asked for them to leave a message in the office and THEY SAID NO WITHOUT GIVING ANY REASONS. The house is UNHEALTHILY DIRTY, with broken things and the fridge and kitchen screen must be replaced.

At first when moving here I read these reviews and was very nervous . But I feel these reviews are wrong or just isolated incidents . Tolbert Realty (NOLA apartments) was timely and responsive with communication and handling any concerns or questions I may have had. I had a wonderful experience and would rent with this company again . The only reason why I’m no longer renting with them is because I moved to Arizona. If I come back to New Orleans I will do business with them again . The office and staff is very professional and I loved my apartment as well .

Beware of these people! I can’t stress it enough! They will fix nothing (ive had a faulty water heater, leaking windows and a hole in my ceiling all for months at this point) Property manager blames it on busy schedule they also forced a showing on my unit during the current pandemic (hole still in ceiling). Not to mention they will cash your rent check only to claim you haven’t paid two weeks later. I know its hard to find affordable places especially in the area so if its a must keep all your receipts these people are careless greedy slum lords! Im not the only one with similar experiences

Craig Tolbert/ Nola Apartments was the best landlord I rented from in New Orleans hands down. I've lived in many apartments in the 5 years I spent in New Orleans. Every problem I had was addressed right away and will care by Kelly. I even got my full deposit which had never happened at any of the previous apartments I live in. Will rent from them again if I move back to Nola!

Been in our unit for almost 2yrs finally had enough been trying to get them in to fix the collapsing wall from water and wood rot damage since hurricane Barry now the building is sinking and separating from the foundation this is Craig’s property at 2031 Marengo st. Not to mention the building is infested with rats you can hear them at night running around the walls and ceiling. Please if you value your health do NOT rent any of the units in this building.

Craig and Kelly don't care about their tenants at all and refuse to address problems with appliances until it has been broken for weeks. They are also horrible at dealing with pest infestations - I moved out right after our house was infested with termites, and they did nothing to help or get rid of them. I filled at least 4 trash bags with termites off the ground throughout the house. They are incredibly inconsiderate and unprofessional.

Rented apt A1 Dec. 2017 to Jan. 2018 this unit's bedroom was fronting the trolley stop on St Charles and on the first floor.The noise from the trolley was unbearable day and night. Not to mention the roaches and thin floors.
We were told by the rental manager Kelly that the next time we could rent a unit in the rear of the complex on the 2nd floor away from the trolley noise and no upstairs tenant. The rental manager told us we would be very happy with this unit. So we decided to give it another try. Turned out to be a bad decision

I lived in one of NOLA apartments/craig tolberts properties for a year. It was $#it hole and he is the epitome of a slum lord. My house had a minor gas leak, a consistently clogged bathroom sink and faulty coin op laundry machines(that constantly ate my quarters). None of which was ever addressed, despite the constant complaints. As if paying to live in this nightmare wasn't enough. He constantly harassed me and my neighbors about a random 300 dollar charge that nobody could make any sense of. I've been completely satisfied with NOLA Apts since July 2016. I am a very particular and meticulous person so I often ask for something or another from the office. They've always responded in a timely manner and did whatever was needed. I love the character of my apartment. It's so N'awlins. Also, I appreciate the way everyone works as a team to get things done. The maintenance guys are friendly and efficient. I mean they 'do what it does'. The office staff are kind and caring folks. I'm grateful for Landlords who try their best to satisfy their tenants. Thanks

Just got out of a lease with Craig Tolbert / NOLA Apartments.
This was my place on move in day. I complained and didn't move in. They cleaned the stove but it still doesn't work and they never fixed the toilet.
They tried to call me a liar today and said that the maintenance guy said he fixed it.
I was then told I was just impatient as these things could have been replaced...it's the 7th and I was supposed to move in on the 1st. How I'm being impatient I'm not sure.
They said that they are going to keep the deposit as I'm breaking the lease even though the

When you have a problem you are lucky to get someone to come in a timely manner and when they do come they don't fix it right the first time. It takes several times for someone to fix it and if you're lucky it might get fixed. It's basically a matter of living with the problems that arise , like your stove going out etc or waiting forever to get it fixed if it even gets fixed. Oh and expect anyone to come in when they want because they like to give the keys to all of the apartments to anyone without even a call or email to you. They wouldn't even pay for the exterminator bill when we had an estimated 30 COCKROACHES invade our apartment. If you're a student, he will walk all over you. Planning to spread the word about what a slumlord he is. The secretary records everything on a yellow LEGAL PAD, NOT COMPUTER. She was about to give away

Seriously, don't rent from these people. The location may seem great, the pictures might look good, but they are not worth it. My place was an awesome spot on Magazine, but the upkeep was disgusting. Holes i the floorboards, the kitchen "tile" was peeling up, the bathroom had holes everywhere. They never cleaned the place before I moved in and then had the audacity to deduct money for "painting" when i moved out. They do zero maintenance or upkeep on the place, which is just sad

It's ridiculous that they won't come fix a renters heat on the weekend because it isn't considered an emergency. Last time I checked, it's illegal to rent out houses that don't have heat. It's 20 degrees outside and even colder in my house! I have had someone come fix the heat the last two days in a row, still, nothing. Do not rent from these people!!! They took almost two weeks to put down our kitchen floors after we moved, when it was supposed to be done before we even moved in. This property management company manages swear different properties all over New Orleans and Metairie. I checked an apartment on Old Metairie. I had an appointment with Shawn. I arrived on time for my 4:30 P.M. appointment. My girlfriend and I waited for about 10 minutes. I called their office and a lady told me that he should be waiting for us outside apartment 4. The door was opened so we made our way in. The apartment was run down. Filthy, smelly, broken floor tiles, the door looked as if someone had tried to pry it open. Then a young guy approach and he said, " well what do you think?
