Lived here for over a year. Months of issues with no resolution but hey at least we got a dog park? The management team at Avana around the city is comprised of some of the worst people I have ever had to deal with. I know a few people who live at other Avana-owned complexes and they have had nothing but issues as well, so it's not limited to the complex. It's the management as a whole that is inept.
Security and maintenance were an issue as well. While I lived here there were multiple fights in the parking lots, attempted break-ins, squatters, property damage, and garbage everywhere

Update: Avana Lenox is not, in fact, a smoke-free community. If you have allergies, or are opposed to cigarette smoke smells in your home, I'd recommend you live elsewhere as it's a recurring problem with no resolve ("there's nothing we can do unless we catch them in the act") which they will not because again resident calls are routed to the call center and in person complaints are not documented.

Worst place you could possibly live in Buckhead. They charge more than a arm and leg for rent but, the community does not live up to their end of the deal. The gate is ALWAYS broken ,even if it’s from the residents they don’t do anything about it. The package lockers are always broken or someone steals the package. Twice my package wasn’t even… stolen, the office staff just didn’t check it in then called me months later and said after an “audit” they found my packages. The general manager and assistant manager at Avana Lenox Apartments in Buckhead do not respond to residents even when it’s a known urgent issue. The management is unresponsive and unprofessional because of that I do not recommend. If you choose to live here please review your rental statement with a magnifying glass. They will put small erroneous fees on your bill. It might not seem like a lot $15-$20 but for every resident it adds up. I’m sure there’s massive fraud going on and I’m giving the details to the appropriate organizations/authorities so it can be looked into.

From the moment I first walked into the leasing office and was greeted by Daemeyen Davis and Ms. Marcel, I was impressed by their care and attentive service. The package situation did look a little crazy, but I have a PO Box, so I KNOW I won't have any issues with thieves in the temple. The application process was easy. And we were in our unit in about a week. It had SOME minor issues, but Mr. Pierre - Maintenance- was EXCEPTIONAL. So friendly and ready to help. He even gave me some suggestions on how to go about

Don't waste your time, this place is a joke. If you try to call you will be transferred to the call center and never called back. No matter how many times you call. The gate is constantly broken, the package room was such a disaster but now it's even worse you have to go into the leasing office and dig for your package in the hundreds of packages. When I moved across state lines and verified multiple times that I could be here at 10 am to move in, they said "oh it's not ready yet you'll have to wait" like it was no big deal. I rarely write reviews but Michael Hani is an exceptional individual who deserves very high praise. If it weren't for his great customer service and eagerness to help we would have moved out. From his attention to detail to his incredibly fast turn around on all asks, he has genuinely surpassed all my expectation. There packaging system here sucks, packages get lost and stolen and placed in incorrect lockers. The leasing office staff doesn’t care and give attitude when you ask them for help retrieving the packages. If they really cared they would had been built Amazon lockers instead of being cheap using Luxer.
They do not pressure wash or clean the hallways.
The rent here is really high and only increasing , so I expect better for the amount that I pay.

This is the most unprofessional bs I have ever been through in my entire life. Do not move here. My move in date was pushed back 4 different times. They wouldn't let us move in before 3pm (difficult and unprofessional). Now we get here to move in and the room we signed the lease for is not available. Now essentially my roommate and I are homeless. I have no clue what to do. Sounds like they want us to move twice. I have never seen or heard of such in my life.

I truly want to commend Michael from the office staff for being dependable. He follows through on every request and/or issue presented to him. He’s very patient and doesn’t rush people off of the phone or brush off issues. He’s truly a force to be reckoned with. I’ve been living here almost 3 years and he’s a breath of fresh air. Millie in the leasing office has been the best part of living at these apartments. Initially, our property management was comprised of people who were less than adequate. Since Millie has become the main point of contact in the leasing office, my needs have been met. I truly feel she cares about my quality of life while at the complex. This is not the place you want to be at. The management is completely unprofessional, from Marvin, to Jetta Dorsey (who screens calls and does not reach back out to residents calling with concerns). Where do I begin, they have a trash compactor which is always broken so they literally have trash hanging outside in the parking lot for weeks before… it picked up then give a sorry excuse to tenants. I have been living here since April and while the property and my apartment are great, the responsiveness of the management team leaves something to be desired. I came home to a MAJOR leak in my kitchen and when I called the emergency maintenance line, I was put on hold for 10 minutes and then had to wait 3 hours for someone to show up. Meanwhile, my ceiling had a hole in it and water was pouring out the entire time. The remediation team was quick to respond after that and all water was removed that night, but I had people knocking on my door at 10:30pm when they could have been there 4 hours earlier

Whew..if I could give it 0 stars or negative I would. My sister recently moved here as of last week (so not even a week yet at this point); Upon her move the apartment was completely unsuitable for anyone to live in. There were several of maintenance issues that she brought to managements attention immediately. They sent in maintenance people to come and paint over cracked paint, rusted light fixtures and broken appliances just to name a few. The building looks like it hasn't been power washed or cleaned in years. The balcony was absolutely disgusting and filthy as well. Two days went by

The only helpful staff members are Katara and Barbeth. Anyone else is useless - if you can even get anyone since they recently switched their calls to a call center. They never call back when you leave a message with the call center so what's the point? The managers were rude and unhelpful (Katie and Tamika). I think they forgot their paycheck… depends on keeping the place occupied and satisfied. When the pandemic was at its climax in Feb/Mar, Avana decided it was a good idea to do a complete overhaul of the property which meant noise and equipment everywhere, all day, for about six or seven

Terrible management. I have called multiple times and the manager Katie never calls me back concerning our promised $500 referral fee. We moved in last JULY! It is now almost a YEAR later and no one has emailed us or given our friend the referral money that we signed an agreement on. This is getting out of hand. Now we are in the face of a pandemic where he doesn't have a job and they don't even give me the time of day by calling me back. I am NOT signing here again. No respect for what people are going through right now....

Really enjoyed living here. Clean apartments, maintenance is pretty decent in their timing, neighborhood is quiet considering it's in the middle of Buckhead. Leasing office is pleasant. Specifically Katara, she has been unbelievably patient and helpful. She has a great attitude, I always would look for her if I needed any assistance or had any questions.
