The Artistry’s amenities are awesome, and the staff is second to none. The team genuinely cares about you and your well-being. I’m always shocked they not only remember my name, but little obscure facts I’ve just shared in passing and actually follow-up. They’re personal, but also professional. They fix problems quick and keep open communication with the community. It is a downtown apartment complex, and you have to be careful choosing which building/apartment location you choose. Some spots are definitely noisier/more busy than others. But, I’m sure if you tell the staff your preferences

Love living here! So close to everything. Especially all my favorite restaurants on Mass Ave. My view of the city is spectacular! I love sitting on my balcony at night listening to the sounds of the city while drinking in the lights. I feel safe, comfortable, and there is a warm community feel. Everyone is friendly and I’ve met some really amazing people here. If you want some cool amenities - like the pool lounge (my fav!) and to be smack in the middle of everything - move in!

I live here with wife and 3yo toddler.
Pros: The architecture is good, the external buildings are really nice to the eyes. The apartment has a nice design and the location is good. The amenities are good.
Cons: if you live in the first floors, you might get mouse infestation. We had one for 5 months and I removed more than 15 mice from traps. We also identified the correct place of a dead body that stayed in an apartment for a month without being discovered by the staff despite everyone stink complaints for the entire time. We had hundreds of flies in our house for a month.

Honestly I thought it would be fine but I dont like this place. I talked to the staff about changing my lease terms and they act like it didn't happen. they also told me many confusing things, contradicting themselves and the lease terms. I have been in a hall with two really aggressive dogs, wear the owner was like having a hard time keeping their pet under control... that's the worst part. and the artwork of the featured artist is terrible, you can see pencil marks and space where they didn't bother to paint.. If you have a pet get this place if you don't, don't.

Shout out to my first-ever apartment in Indianapolis. We were so excited to live downtown for a year and ended up snagging the first room we toured at the Artistry. We only lived here for a year because it's super expensive and your girl's gotta save up, but it was a good time while it lasted. Pros and cons below.
PROS:
- Located steps from Public Greens, Orange Theory, City Market, the Original Farmers Market, Mass Ave, Bankers Life and Monument Circle
- There's a beautiful rooftop pool with a great view and fun seating
- There's a nice gym where they'd host some

We've lived here at The Artistry for about 6 months with our pup. The best part about The Artistry is that the staff truly does their best to make things right. No apartment complex is perfect, but I really appreciate the professionalism and friendliness of the staff here at The Artistry. COVID has certainly put a damper on several things about downtown living, but we love living here so far!

Skyler is the BIGGEST help if you need anything at all. Seriously has answered all my questions . Love the amenities. They are great!
It is sooooooo hard to reach the front desk if you need something. My roommate and I called 11 times in a day one time and FINALLY reached someone after that.
Also, our apartments window randomly cracked one day and after asking for maintenance to come they had signed off that it was completed even though it was not. It took about 3 months for them to fix our window. We had black mold in our apartments around the windowsills because there wasn't enough insulation

Management is slow and unorganized, lost at least a couple thousand dollars worth of my work and personal packages. They're not held responsible for lost packages. Maintenance is opinionated and curious how people are able to afford their apartment... Not exactly professional. Maintenance also the people who don't finish a job and make excuses about blueprints. Rooftop pool, not open almost all summer. Parking spots cost the Milhaus group 5$ per spot, Artistry charges 85/115/135 dollars for spots... Pretty nice profit margin. Also, they will not have lights and/or fans in the living room and bedrooms

The office is staff is extremely polite and pleasant. Very eager to assist with anybody’s issues or concerns. Communication is extremely well from office staff to maintenance. Me and my family have been living at the Artistry for over 2 years now. We have a daughter that is 8 years old and we really believe that Artistry is a great place to raise a child. Many many pleasant people live here. We would strongly recommend Artistry to live and raise a family. Thank you artistry team for being here. Jenn you are an amazing person and I don’t believe you get credit for all the things you do for resident

I did not even get the chance to live her, as the Artistry system for giving out rooms is flawed.
I applied for a room, and was waiting for my roommates to complete their application. 2/3 application were competed and 200 dollars paid when they informed me that the room we wanted was taken during our time filling out the application.
Not only did they offer us a more expensive room as a "solution," it took 5 days to get any word on the situation. i called multiple times a day as I would told on a Thursday I would receive a call end of day. Instead, on Monday night at 11:00pm, I received

Only been here a week so far and already am in love....Was a bit apprehensive about leaving an amazing complex, but wanted to move here to be a bit closer to the heart of downtown and it's nothing short of amazing. The location is just incredible. When you can walk outside and immediately be within a short walk of nearly everything downtown has to offer, you quickly realize why they say location is everything. Skylar at the leasing office made the move in process so damn easy and was extremely accommodating. Couldn't have asked for a better move in/application/lease process....If you

Honestly, way better than the reviews give it credit for. The staff is all relatively new and really fun. They have awesome amenities and a great location (walking distance from mass ave and downtown). The pool is famous, they have two gyms (can't justify going to or paying for another one), and it is a very social and fun environment! The staff really cares about the residents and throw great events!! It is a little high in price, but compared to EVERY OTHER CITY IN THE US, this is the best deal you can get to literally live 5 minutes walking distance from a city center.

This isn't the place for a family, but if you are a young professional looking to meet new people this is a great place to live. Pricing is fairly equivalent if not less expensive than other comparable apartments. The pool can get a little rowdy on the weekends during the summer as not many apartments have the rooftop pools. Location is excellent as you are a 10 minute walk to downtown and a 10 minute walk to mass ave. I have never had any issues with maintenance and all my requests have been fixed promptly. I haven't had to deal much with the front office but when I have, its been a

Enjoyed living in the apartment but the move out process with management is terrible. Being forced to pay over $2,000 for a month that we won't even be living in the apartment complex for being given incorrect information by multiple staff members in the leasing office regarding a 60 day notice. Management could care less about you once you decide to no longer live in the complex. Terrible customer service and really unethical to strip your tenants of thousands of dollars.

I have lived in Artistry for a year. It has been great so far. The amenities are better than anywhere else I have ever lived and the location is perfect. The front office staff has been very helpful, especially Lauren Corrie. She made the entire process of applying, moving in, and getting to know the property and amenities a breeze. She has gone above and beyond to help me when issues have come up even after office hours which I very much appreciate! Everyone in the front office has been wonderful! I would definitely recommend this property to others.

Horrible experience all together. DO NOT RENT HERE. My fiance and I moved to Indianapolis excited to live in the city in a luxury apartment. Instead all we got was 6 months worth of pain. No air conditioning in the hot summer, washer and dryer hooked up wrong causing a flood in our back bedroom, no hot water in the showers, leaking dishwasher, I even had a full closet rack fall on top of my head because it was not installed and anchored properly! Oh and did I mention their security is horrible? Parking garage jumping and homeless people getting in the building lobby! But don't bother calling

I will first say that the location of Artistry is great, and there are a lot of goodies that come along with living here such as a stellar pool and some great fitness areas. HOWEVER, I would definitely warn that given the opportunity to select living downtown all over again, I would not select Artistry. There is absolutely NO human aspect to the staff. The guy that showed us around originally was so nice and told us he used to live at Artistry and loved it. We really liked how down to earth he was, and quite frankly it was probably one of the reasons we went with Artistry at all. After we signed

You have to beg for two keys.
$175/mo extra to park in garage and still have to walk 1/2 a block outside to get to apartment
Floors are concrete. No flooring.
No ceiling. Just sprayed on fireproofing that drops on your stuff periodically.
Lobby smells of BO.
Wall unit hvac that is loud.
Blinds by sleeping area that can be seen thru.
For $1200/mo not including parking. Will not renew lease
I can only speak for first floor. Needed a place quickly and should've waited and looked around. From out of town so only use couple nights a week. So it is just barely adequate.

If I could give them a -5 start to this place I would do it.
This is the worst place that we could choose to live in Indianapolis.
The construction is HORRIBLE, you can hear every single noise, is like you are leaving right on the street... and if that is not enough the water stinks, the management team continue to tell me that "this is how the water is in Indianapolis".... Really?
We also are so lucky that the person that lives right above us does not have any sense of respect and plays his/her music until 2:00 am every night like he/she is at the club!!!!!! I hate this place and

I have seen a few negative reviews below. I am not sure if it makes a difference because I live in one of the newer buildings.
Pros:
1. The countertops and bathrooms are very nice. They use Quartz which is nicer than Granite.
2. Obviously the location is great. I have a 10 minute walk to work.
3. The blinds are thick and work great.
4. The washer and dryer are high efficiency and work great.
5. I saw issues regarding the water pressure, but I haven't had those problems.
6. Kyle, the newest maintenance man, was great. One evening my magnetic key wasn't working so I couldn't

Lived there for only one year and could not wait to get out. My husband and I moved there while he was in school to make it easier since his school was downtown, but I wish I would have looked into more places before settling on this one. I will say the the amenities were great, but that was the only thing I felt was worth the high rent price.
There were a number of times we saw dog (and maybe human) messes all throughout the halls, I know it's hard to control everyone that lives there but half the time I felt I lived in a college dorm so it's not a very peaceful place to live, the fire

Great location, bad maintenance - as a current resident I have the following concerns - It took 1.5 months for the install of a lock on the patio door, still waiting for the install of screens over the windows and patio doors. I'm told it's the developers fault but blame should be on both the developer and owner for not getting the job done. Other items to be aware of are the water pressure (it's more like no pressure). And then lets not discount the parking garage next door where you pay artistry to park in. This garage is suppose to be locked and secure but in fact the doors
