Not worth the money. This place is ridiculous. They charge you for EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING.. and they don’t even have a gated complex or cameras on the property yet they have such high standards in regards to fees. Also they have a very bad roach problem, they say they use a “top notch” pest control but I’ve literally had to have my apartment sprayed multiple times. Disgusting. Their payment portal is so confusing to read and their income breakdowns are done in the most confusing way. There’s very high police activity here and the staff is unaware as to why. I moved from out of state to McKinney to be close to my children in Frisco. I decided to lease an apartment at the Kinstead for the great location, spacious apartments, and clean property. Up until recently I have enjoyed living there. I am considering breaking the lease due to the inability of the property manager to address concerns without multiple phone calls. Every time I've had an issue with the apartment (sharp nails coming through the carpet, very loose front door handle, water leaking from the guest room shower, Smart Rent upgrades, and door locks not being locked when maintenance leaves

I am disappointed in how the staff is more focused on upgrading the smart devices in the apartments than improving the trash flow. We NEED a 2nd dumpster/trash compacter area!! There are live roaches that run wild all over the parking lot. I have found roaches inside my apartment as well. It is disgusting.

We have been here for over a year and LOVE the new management team! Neighbors are friendly and everyone is pretty good at picking up after their pets which keeps the community clean:)
We love the management team! They do cool stuff every so often like delicious breakfast waffles down at the office and my favorite was the complimentary gourmet pop cycles served by the pool. We love the gym here too! Tia is a great manager and worked with us when we needed help figuring out a renewal lease while we are are in the process of buying a new home. Misty has also been a great addition to the Kinstead

As a resident here almost 6 months, I and many other residents have been here longer than the new management team. I am posting an edited review. I think the new staff does their best to help the residents here. A few minor adjustments here and there I'll amend my review to 5-stars. I appreciate the staff being willing to work with us as residents to help it become a great experience for everyone involved.

I applied for an apartment here and the staff that handled my application and service was just awesome from start to completion. She returned my calls or sms even after work hours and took me through all the steps of the way. This is a great apartment complex with high end finishes and great customer service experience. Alyssa was awesome and professional. Keep up the good work!
