Housing and maintenance was great, but management was horrible. Received a $500 fine with barely any notice for having chairs on my balcony. Would not communicate with me at all other than a letter that threatened to go to court if I didn’t pay. Never answered calls or emails. Utilities were always a flat rate of $150 which is just insane for a studio. Had to call and text every day for almost a month to get my security deposit back. Would not recommend anyone to work with or live under this management team.

Lived there since 2007 I moved because my husband passed from covid 19 and I wanted to be near family but what a mistake I wished I stay there... miss the people there they helped me a lot when my husband passed....i wished I could move back if I could

when you need something done he will come when he can he wouldn't let you hang in there waiting for things to be done..Salina in leasings manger and Scott has managers are great what they do

I lived here for almost 2 years and I hated every minute of it. Good luck ever getting anything fixed if it is broken. Rent is increased every year. The pool is green half the time because it isn't taken care of. I was informed my apartment would have a washer and dryer and when I moved in it didnt. They have a laundry room on site but it is useless. You have to wash and dry your clothes twice in order for them to actually get clean and actually get dry. Just got to a laundromat. I lived on the top floor and my apartment always smelled like weed because of the people living below me who smoked

I’ve been a tenant here for about eight months now, and I have to say it’s a great place to live. I left off one star because the office can be hard to reach sometimes. It’s not too bad, though. And they are very polite and helpful when they do get back to you. If I could leave just a half or quarter star off for that, I would.
However, there hasn’t been a time that I have put in a maintenance request ticket or texted the emergency maintenance number for help, and didn’t receive a response almost immediately! Monty is the head of maintenance there and I can’t praise him enough. He

Hillwood Villas has been my home for almost 10 years. I absolutely LOVED living there. The only reason I am leaving is because I bought my first house. Hillwood Villas is a cozy complex, with many different floor-plans and amenities to suit many interests/needs. It is located very close to Ijams Nature Center in South Knoxville. It is only 5 minutes from downtown/UT campus; however it is enough away from campus and downtown to be a quiet place to live. It is an ideal place to live for any person: young students to older couples to small families. Neighbors know each other, and look out for each

I'm a current resident and just wanted to give a I appreciate you all at hillwood villas, and staff. Especially to Tracy. Hillwood villas is a place that's secluded, quite and people are friendly and mind their business. It's also easily accessible to galtlinburg, Maryville and anywhere you wish to get to. But mostly, it's the people in positions such as Tracy, who is professional, and yet compassionate at the same time...great place to live. Thanks Tracy...you rock. JH

If you move here you are making a BIG MISTAKE!! The police are called at least 3 times per week at these apartments. The apartment owners are unethical and immoral and I am told by several current tenants that they are also slum-lords-- meaning nothing ever gets fixed. I didn't even live here nor did I sign a lease. However, I did put down a deposit until I learned that someone I know got accosted in the parking lot, then called the office to let them know I was not going to rent and they immediately cashed my deposit check. I now have to take them to small claims court to get my money back
