Scheduled an online appointment and even got a confirmation! Got there a little before my appointment time and was greeted unprofessionally with a “can I help you”, not a hello, how are you and how can I assist you. I advised the woman I had an appointment and she stated that basically can’t be right because her appointment was already there. I walked out because of the unprofessionalism that was displayed during that interaction. They just missed out on a perspective resident looking for a 2 bedroom 2 bath. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

The apartment itself isn’t bad. Amenities are mostly up to date and the property is usually keep well. However unsure if I would want to renew my lease. The people in the office are nice but it’s extremely rare that they answer the phones. Which can be a pain if you need something handled ASAP. The maintenance people are very friendly and work quickly so no issues there. Multiple times I’ve had valet service (caught on camera) walking right past my trash bin and not collecting it. The TVs do not work in the gym for children so there’s no point in bringing toddlers if you can help it. My

I have no complaints about the apartment itself at all! The PM's are kind and responsive, I love the valet trash pick-up, and I had an issue with my AC a couple of months ago and maintenance was able to come out very quickly. The apartments are also just beautiful in general.
Not choosing a third floor apartment was my biggest mistake. It is absolutely impossible to drown out the stomps from the apartment above me, plus their washing machine...their vacuum....all of it. I've learned what time they get up in the morning and get home from work because I literally hear each and every foot step. I

Imani is by far the most responsive and helpful leasing agent I have came across during my most recent apartment search. She was so polite, friendly, and knowledgeable during my application process and was quick to answering all my questions. I took a tour of the property and the sapphire floor plan and was in love with how beautiful the apartment was. I decided immediately after viewing the model apartment, I had to move in. I also love the location and the building design. I highly recommend!

Definitely recommend, and can not state this enough, Ariana as the representative and John as the manager. It is not John's job to be involved typically but when he was he was wonderful. They are by far the most professional individuals in the office and will ensure you have a good experience.
Upon move in there were a few issues with the apartment and they were quick to address them. The issues were resolved in a reasonable way but certainly not 100%, exactly what id expect from any apartment complex. Little dings and minor wear and tear but overall a very clean and

I relocated to NC from Miami, I have now lived here for almost 9 months. I absolutely love the staff, Imani was our tour guide and she was extremely helpful, answered all our questions and whenever I need something I can call the front desk and someone is available to assist. Everyone at the office is very nice and prompt.The service/maintenance employees are also great, they are always helpful. I love the size of my unit, there is ample parking space and very nice amenities. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star review is because the gates are not closed 24/7 and the outdoor kitchen is closed

Run! It's too late for me but save yourselves. You hear EVERYTHING your upstairs neighbors do. If they have kids? Forget about it. You're living with ear buds in and crying yourself to sleep at night. The grounds are absolutely disgusting. The grass is over two feet high, and there's dog feces EVERY WHERE. If you think just walking on the sidewalk would be safe, you'd be wrong. Apparently there are lots of dogs living here that are more comfortable defecating in the breezeways and on the sidewalks. I've lived in 8 different apartments because my husband is in the military

Bottom-line up front: absolutely great apartments for the rent level, totally good value.
I move a lot for work, and so have lived in 12 apartments in Colorado, Texas, Missouri and NC over the last 10 years. The amenities here are among the very best out of those 12 and we've never had any issue with the friendly staff at all. Really, the novel features such as the movie theater, billiards table, beach-style pool entry, cabanas, and valet trash are features I haven't seen anywhere else. The only thing I can think off missing that I've seen elsewhere is reserved and/or covered parking.

I decided to tour this property as a potential home on our list...yes even after reading the reviews! The new manager Doug Grady showed me around the community and a three bedroom apartment and I was very impressed.
Everything from the pool to the breezeways were clean and seemed very well kept. Everyone in the leasing office greeted me and made sure I was being taken care of.
I have looked a several apartment communities in the last two weeks and honestly I like the layout of Maystone's units the most. The community has a very resort like feel to it. I have one more community I want to tour

UPDATE 9 months later 5-6-19
Maystone is still a GATELESS COMMUNITY.
We moved here for the location and gated secure community.
The main gates are left wide open 24/7, 365 days a year. Anyone can roam in at any time. We were told over 3 months ago that the gates were broken and would be repaired immediately. But that never happened.
We found out by an EX management person that since the doors break occasionally, it's cheaper to leave them open all the time than to repair them.
Since then, we see cars running around at all hours of the night and solicitors going door to door with flyers

I really feel Maystone may be one of the worse apartment complex in Raleigh. There are staff changes every quarter, no one seems to know any tenant or anything that is going on in the complex. On April 8, 2019, I contacted the management office at maystone via telephone and explained to the male that answered the phone a package had been sent to my previous apartment in error (I moved from a 2 bedroom to a 3 bedroom after 6 months in the same complex). The individual suggested he would "keep an eye out for the mailman", informing him of the error. I contacted the management office the

This place has been a nightmare since day one. We only lived here for three months and broke our lease to get out. I know that they just fired all of the staff except maintenance so maybe that will help make things better. But you can hear your upstairs neighbors, like every move that they make, when they flush the toilet and take a shower, or run laundry. A lot of people in our building also smoke weed, so my apartment constantly smells like it. The garbage is always over flowing and my building looks out to it, which is not a pretty sight. Initially my Daughter were pleased with Maystone, however that has changed for a variety of reasons. 1. My patio Storage was broken into I notified the office and no one ever contacted me after several calls and a couple of emails. 2. The gates are not working more than they are working, consequently my car has been broken into 2 times, again no response from management after reporting. 3. I was verbally accosted by the "property manager" for going through the gate with out stopping to her liking. She ran after my car screaming hysterically, she was extremely rude and I came very close
