Slow response time for maintenance requests. I requested advance notice because I work nights and was given a date & time for repairs but no one came. Repairs were done 2 days later & I was abruptly awakened by maintenance yelling “maintenance” inside my apartment which is precisely what I was trying to avoid by obtaining an appointment.

They said me 1 st floor because of complaining down stairs family. We moved after three months later to 1 st floor same legend oaks. But legend oaks cut whole my deposit and cutting my deposit we did not do it. They changed pictures too. I said it is not my sinks picture. They said yes. I know about my own sink I lived there three months. I am really disappointed about they changed picture and cut whole my deposit just they said before any notes. First complaining I got, I met manager and they said okay you can move 1 st floor. I do not get changing money just move 1 st floor because of kids. Firstly

WARNING DO NOT MOVE HERE
My husband and I were so excited to move in here to our 2 bedroom apartment. On move in day they were still cleaning the apartment. Once we finally got in the apartment, there was a horrible smell, paint all over the floor and carpet like they just slapped a new coat of paint on without covering the floor up. The dishwasher was rusty. The counter tops were disgusting and peeling off. On our THIRD day we found a ROACH in our kitchen pantry. That was our final straw. We tried contacting the leasing office the next day to tell them our issues, they just happened to be closed

I’ve been waiting to receive my final statement to leave a review. As expected, they charged me for routine move out stuff but more on that below. I lived at Legend Oaks from 2018-2021.
Pros: location, maintenance crew, my rent didn’t go up the three years I lived here (but would have gone up the 4th, so not sure if my experience is typical)
Cons: management will nickel and dime you, office staff is hit or miss on their attitude, no covered parking options (only a few, expensive, garages)
Location: great location. A little far from access to 25 but I’ve always lived in places not close

Aright, I’ve been at legend oaks for a month now and the best aspect of it is our maintenance guys - Ernesto and Moose! They are so awesome. They respond to requests quickly, ask if we ever need anything else when they are done, and are all-around just super nice dudes. I see them cleaning up the grounds often too which is so nice. Thank you Ernesto and Moose!

Moving in was somewhat of a nightmare. The original unit we were assigned to was not ready when we arrived, so they told us to come back a few hours later and would call when it was ready. There was no communication whatsoever, so we waited a good while before finally calling ourselves and being told our unit was ready. Carpets were still soaking wet, but it was 5pm at this point so we made due. After a couple of days we were told our tub was leaking into another apartment so they had to come do some maintenance. They came while we were gone and left boot tracks and sheet rock dust and pieces all

The maintenance at the apartment has been incredible since they hired Moose. This will be my 3rd lease coming up and I have noticed an extreme difference since he has started. Instead of a couple days for the work orders to be completed he is there in a day making sure you are all comfortable. He went above and beyond to help with the things around the apartment. THANK YOU MOOSE!
