I don't normally leave reviews but I have to share with everyone how amazing my experience with this place has been. I started coming here last Summer after trying a couple different places in the city and I must say it has been the best. I met Robert during his first week there and ever since I always request him specifically. His work is truly amazing and has helped me grow my nails healthy and strong. The last no-chip mani I had lasted an entire month! Getting my nails done is now a fun experience because of him! 10/10 would definitely recommend

I've heard great things about the nail salon and pictures of their work looks great; so I went. Be careful who you book with. I booked a deluxe pedicure, the guy doing my nails didn't do the deluxe pedicure, only did a spa pedicure. The receptionist even came over and told him to do the deluxe, he didn't. Then at the end the receptionist said she would only be charging me for the spa, since that's what I received, acting like it was a favor; even tho he didn't do the deluxe pedicure!!!. Not sure why; considering I booked the deluxe. Then my acrylics he cut my skin 3 places

My nails were in desperate need of attention (broken + the edge was flipping up) and while I'd gone to previous salons in Chicago before, I wasn't in love with any of them. I decided to try NailaCarte esp with their reputation for nail art and I'm super super happy w my experience! Nails came out looking so nice, Apple did a really great job with base nail care and the nail art (exactly what I asked for and gave helpful recommendations on color and design), and he was a fun person to chat with during the experience. Will definitely come again! :)

Made 3 appointments. Called and texted to set them up. Drove an hour to go to this shop specifically.
Called to say we were running 10 mins and they claim they don't have our appointments and there is nothing they can do. They acknowledge they have my text messages.
We were getting nails done for a brand launch event. We now have no nails and it's 3 pm the Saturday before our event. These are horrible people. I do not recommend.

I really wanted to love this place. Unfortunately, the past two times I had to go back to get my nails fixed due to an issue with the top coat cracking and peeling. This past time, my nails started to lift after just a couple of days. I went to this nail salon for a pedicure and acrylic set. I sent $167 and signed up for there membership. Immediately after getting my toes done, my toenail polish started to turn black. They were very professional and tried to accommodate me, but I didn’t get what initially asked for. At the end I decided to choose a basic color to save us both time, since I was there for an hour and a half. After all that time, I left with subpar nails that cost $75. This place is overpriced and the nail tech didn’t even clean my cuticles.

I asked for a type of design and the outcome was very different (I asked for a simple, elegant design with just different colors - attached in the picture). I've been to nailacarte several times and they always have great customer service and do a "good to great" job with nail art which is usually an acceptable balance for me. However during my most recent visit, my entire part had issues with our nails and there has been no desire to respond to the feedback which is unfortunate.

Came in because a friend recommended this place to me for nail art. Kenny did such a nice job, was very meticulous in making sure my nails were shaped properly an the artwork was done right. I came to get a mani and pedi and after my pedi I decided not to even get a mani. My toes were not neat at all. They looked like I did them myself ! Unbelievable. The only reason I’m giving a 2 star is because the nail tech who did my daughter nails was nice and did hers very near and cute. We will not be visiting this place again ! I complained to the manager and told her the lady didn’t know what she was doing . They wait was quick and I got to browse nail colors until my nail tech took me back. The vibe of the place is so cool! It's bright and airy, clouds and sky painted on the ceiling. It had nice, chill music playing, but it wasn't too loud. Overall it was a super clean and comfortable location

Reviews were stellar but the service sure wasn't! Went in for a pre vacation pedicure and was ignored for quite a while. Then set up with Vu for my pedicure... which lasted exactly 22 minutes. No asking what type of pedicure I would like, or any other information. He proceeded without any time to soak, never helped me with the chair controls, and barely used any scrub with the pumice stone, let alone a massage! But plenty of time to text!
No one helped me get out of my sandals or to prep to leave, so I put on oil
