This is an amazing hidden gem tucked inside Ogilvie Station. I've gotten both dip and no-chip for my nails with and without no-chip and they have always turn out amazing! Very comparable or ever lower prices compared to salons in the area. The nail techs are always super nice and friendly and make sure your nails look pristine every time. Linn and Susie are amazing and always super sweet and knowledgeable! They are very meticulous with every nail so note that it might take a longer time than quoted.

This salon is such a great deal! I love how they welcome their customers and ask them politely what they want. They surely have the nicest staffs I ever met. The ambiance is good too, I love the vibe inside. I never get bored while the staff appointed to me is doing the manicure and pedicure. She entertained me so well and ask me some funny questions, she jokes around too, so I was having fun the whole time. It' my first time here and I just finished my work and decided to have some manicure and pedicure as it's such a long time when my last visit in a nail salon. So, yeah, it just happened

I tried this salon out due to my usual nail tech being out of town and the location. I got a gel pedicure and was supposed to get a double french nail design with tip. The person I was assigned cut my toenails uneven and didn't seem to understand. She also gave me rounded toenails even though I repeatedly asked for square shape at least 3x. She attempted to "fix it" and would've just filed all of my toenails away if I didn't stop her so now I am just stuck with badly shaped, short toenails for the next few weeks.

This is by far the best salon in Chicago. I have never had much luck with gel manicures at other salons. I felt my manicures would always chip after one week. But this is not the case with Madelyn’s Spa!! They take their time ensuring each manicure is perfect & now my nails last 3-4+ weeks without any chips or problems. I also always go in asking for different designs & they’re always up for the challenge! I cannot recommend Madelyn’s enough!!

Highly recommend this nail salon! I went on a Thursday after work to get a no chip manicure/regular pedicure and my boyfriend got a standard mani/pedi and opted out of polish. I recommend calling ahead to make an appointment to ensure they have enough nail techs on that day.
My nail tech, Nancy, did an incredible job. She was so detail oriented and would take pauses to re-file a small part of my nail or fix a cuticle if she saw something out of place, and made sure to wrap each tip in polish for optimal staying power. Nancy also helped me pick a polish color after I chose one that would deposit

Went for the first time and will definitely be back. Got a dip manicure with tips. Suzie was my technician and gave me exactly what I asked for, she also spent so long making sure everything was perfect and even on both hands. Also the dip turned out not too thick like some other salons. Very happy with how they turned out

The nail techs were so sweet and able to fit me in the same day on a Friday. I got acrylic dip with a design and it looks so beautiful. I'm very particular and appreciated her attention to detail. One of the colors I chose wasn't standing out, so she helped me pick another color that would pop. I can't say enough how great my experience was, but when you come give yourself plenty of time to not be rushed (plan for 1hr30 or 2hrs) Thank you Linn!!

Love love love this place! They actually offer hard gel/gel overlay. (If you're unaware, most salons DON'T but will tell you they do.) It costs a little more than regular no chip/gel or dip manicures but, for me, it's soooo worth it! I usually go to Linn and she's so nice and she takes her time making sure the work is done correctly.

I just moved in the area and was looking for a good nail salon do after reading the reviews of Madelyn Chicago nail salon I decided to go since its literally 3mins from where I stay, I'm so glad I did they are so nice there and welcoming and Suzie took her time doing my nails. I definitely will be back.

I really really wanted to love these but the picture kind of speaks for itself. I was pretty tired when I left the salon so I didn't take that close a look but so so many people have pointed out the many issues that I'm just getting them redone tomorrow. What a waste of $73 for just this manicure.

This place is very close to my job. Someone was available as soon as I walked in. Gel manicure was $35 and if you know that is a steal for downtown. Lynn was great! Also the place is LARGE. I would recommend for a bachelorette party or a nail day with your friends. Only drawback is that they don’t have many people on staff because they don’t have many customers. It has nothing to do with quality, it is because it is on the second floor. I plan to go again. I just hope they do some good marketing!
