Caitlyn and her team are all amazing nail artists! Any time I need my nails done perfectly, I make an appointment at Tivvy. I recently had both a manicure (with a specific design I wanted off Pinterest) and pedicure done here and was able to just relax and enjoy the whole experience without worrying. Highly recommend!

I have been going to this salon since I moved to chicago 1 year ago. I have never been so happy with my nails every single time I leave. They make getting my nails done fun and relaxing and the salon is gorgeous!

Had one good manicure here and one terrible one. The good manicure, and the attractive decorations, is the reason for two stars. For the bad manicure.... Just yuck, I won't ever be back.

The manicurist immediately, and without asking me, started cutting my nails into pointy talons. Like, she literally started cutting the edges at a sharp diagonal angle. What why?! I said no, don't do that, but she spoke zero English. I’ve been going to Tivvy when it was at 8 S. Michigan for a dip manicure for a while every 2-3 weeks. I followed Caitlin to her new location and switched between her and Nara whenever she’s been busy and cannot rave enough about them. I’ve been getting dip for over 5 years and they use a certain dip technique that I haven’t seen by any of my previous nail technicians. I come out with thin and natural looking nails that even at three weeks you can barely tell unless they’ve grow out. I don’t remember going back to fix a nail unless it was time for my next appointment. Thank you Caitlin

$70 for a fill? My nails look great but WHAT!!!? I’ve never even had a full set cost me more than $80 with tip. My $68 fill is before tip. My nails look good, but not $70 good. I will add I had 1 nail to fix, but still $70 for a fill is robbery. I felt taken advantage of.. when questioning the price the owner got an attitude with me and said her tech noted reshape … I did ask for a shorter length but I did not get or request a new shape.

I was so impressed with the service this salon provided. They accommodated me and my sister with our mobility scooters. The girl that did my nails, well it's the best set of nails I have ever had done EVER!! She was very efficient and even did an accurate job half standing up to get me started. I failed to get her name but she told me about a Katy Perry concert she had been to. Anyway, I would definitely recommend this place. Great job on the nails. Not too thick, and they are all even. And she didn't take too long and was very gentle with my arthritis hands. I totally Love love love

Moving from Michigan, it was a struggle to find a place that would do acrylic nails and an even bigger struggle to find a place that does them with killer style! Tivvy nails surpassed my expectations. Caitlyn has the experience and talent to make any nail dream come true. The interior is stunning and great for a relaxing pedi or a get together with your girls! Make sure you call in advance as they can be busy but will always try to find a time that works for you. Caitlyn and her crew will definitely not disappoint!

Caitlyn is the best! After the first time I went to Tivvy Nails I knew I found my new nail place. It's hands down the best dip manicure I have ever gotten and last long. Also, everyone who works there is always so friendly and very accommodating. Other nail spas employees never really speak to you. Not at Tivvy nails everyone is very engaging. It makes going and getting your nails something fun to do again for myself.

this is my new go to nail salon. Caitlyn did a beautiful job on my full set acrylics. Her shaping is exceptional and even more she was fast and efficient. I didn’t have to sit there for 90 mins and they’re the best set i’ve ever had done. I couldn’t recommend this place more. I will certainly be back.

Caitlyn is literally THE BEST! I used to go to the old location on Michigan ave, but moved neighborhoods and was having trouble finding a salon I like in river north area. So happy with their new location!

I love this nail salon! The owner, Caitlyn, is super fun, sassy, and does great nails. I am new to acrylics and they explained to me the pros and cons of getting them and answered all my questions.

I have begun getting designs from Tivvy and I am so glad because they have always done a great job! Here are some

Inconsistent service. I get a gel manicure that lasts 3 weeks, the next time I ask for the same service and it only lasts 6 days before chipping. For the prices they are charging, my nails should at least last 2 weeks. The one good technician is rude af unless you're her personal customer; the other technicians are very nice, very sweet, but... here I am with 3 nails chipped after 5 days and another nail lifting off. The inconsistent service does not warrant these prices.

Visiting Chicago and needed to get my nails done. I walked from my hotel room which was close by and called when I was there. Thankfully they had an opening. Make sure you call ahead and make an appointment, I got lucky. Nicole did my nails. Dip powder. She did a great job.

Went to get my nail fixed and the pictures speak for themselves. Left thumb is the original that I got done at a different salon, right thumb is Tivvy. Only went here because it was closer than the original salon. I don't understand everyone talking about the atmosphere. It was quiet with no music. Idk who my nail tech was but she was not friendly nor seemed experienced.

Tivvy nails is definitely the place to go if you're looking for high quality at a not too over-the-top price. I got the dip powder manicure and chose the pretty cotton white color with tips. Nara did my nails, and they came out looking clean/natural and feeling very fresh. She worked at a brisk pace, but with precision and detail. The nails came out amazing!

As a tip, I would definitely recommend making an appointment a few days in advance, but even without one, I waited for less than 30 minutes. They seem to be pretty nice about walk-ins. Also a piece

Caitlyn did my hands and it was so great! She's really quick, efficient but also knows her stuff so well. She's adaptable and has a great knowledge of what to do and how to apply that to what you want. I got a dip manicure and she did great!

I’ve had a hard time finding a great nail salon in the Loop, so I’m very excited to have found Tivvy! They do a great job, very thorough. And they move pretty quickly. I recommend making a reservation in advance- they can get pretty busy so they may not be able to accept a walk-ins. Their prices are reasonable AND they take venmo! I love this spot and will definitely come back.
