The photos are from my AC vent. I’ve never had allergies the way I do living here. This is the second time I have had severe allergies since moving in, in July. I have lived in many apartment complexes and never had to clean out my own AC vent. I had mold growing on my personal belongings as well. Maintenance said it was due to the setting my AC was on. Again, I’ve never had that happen in other places. Overall, my experience with the actual apartment has not been great. Half my outlets don’t work or they’re loose and my plugs fall out.

Been here 3 years now and I’ve never had any major issues. Apartments are older but spacious, never felt unsafe, never had issues with the management or maintenance, and it is pet friendly. Good experience overall. The only issue if there was one is the drainage. When it rains walk ways flood very early so if you’re heading to work in the morning during a storm make sure you take your shoes off and hike up your pants legs because they will get soaked.

Candlewood isn’t just an apartment, it’s a home and a safe community. I’ve lived here for 8 years and raised my 2 sons here. We just transferred to a larger apartment and chose to stay right here! Maria in the office is patient and helpful every step of the way! Michelle is always ready to help if you need a problem solved. Maintenance is quick and does a good job. And they have fun community events that even include our dogs sometimes! Come home to Candlewood, it’s fabulous here!

I highly recommend this complex. From the location to the community and staff this place is top notch. Maria in the front office has always treated me like family and has always made this place feel like a home to me. I've lived here for 8 years and wouldn't live at any other apartment complex in corpus. Give Maria a call, candlewood is a awesome community to live in.

WORST place I've ever lived! Maintenance was just cover up jobs never really fixed the problems. After a month of living here I noticed mold coming through the wall paint, checked inside the air vent and there was caked on mold for farther than I could see. I could not wait to move out. Had a crazy neighbor that lived underneath me that resulted in me having to evacuate my apartment at 9pm with cops surrounding my building. They repainted the walls to cover up the mold and It eventually came back through. No one should live here!! Only giving it 1 star because I had to

I was coming to town for business and had to rent without seeing the apartment. It was Horrible. Cockroaches! I hate bugs. They sprayed for bugs twice within a week. My cable guy recommended A very strong product, which I used every day and the bugs were still crawling on the walls. The neighbors leave their trash outside overnight so that doesn't help and management doesn't enforce not doing so. I tried working with management to get out of my 2 month lease but they refused. I cannot live with bugs crawling the walls. And the apartment also had a terrible smell.

The Good: Maintenance requests are fully taken care of the next business day; the best I've experienced. The location on Airline is convenient to most everything without the traffic issues of a Staples Street. Online payment of rent is easy. I also like the space available in my townhome style apartment.

A nice affordable apartment complex. I really enjoy living here. Is near by just about everything . The mall groceries store ,the beach is 15 minutes away. And for the past two years I've noticed a nice change here in the apartment complex for the better. Looks like they are totally remodeling every unit. Getting a new exercise room ,which I'm excited about. The people in the office are nice and polite Michelle, Maria, and Sandy. I'm definitely going to renew my lease. : )-

The worst place EVER!!

Holes in floors under the carpet big enough for your foot to go into and trip an adult if you are unlucky enough to step in one.
Windows painted shut
Black mold in master bath shower and on toilet reservoir lid
Water damage so bad that when a 5ft 4in 125 pound woman walks into the kitchen you see the floor bow like it is about to cave in.
When you have water there are NO hot water regulators, It is literally "boiling" when it comes out.
Roach infestation
Thrash and abandoned furniture all around
