Snug Harbor Inn is a quaint, six-room, luxury hotel located in Avalon on beautiful Catalina Island, California. Like the rooms, each guest is treated as an individual, and our staff members are always on hand to ensure you have an enjoyable and memorable stay with us. Our stylish and welcoming Cape Cod theme not only soothes the most harried of souls but also evokes the essence and romance of life by the sea.
We've been the setting for many engagements and anniversaries, not to mention a favorite hideaway for celebrities to escape from the mainland's public eye and paparazzi. We wouldn't stay anywhere else! Best accommodations, centrally located, and a great staff. Breakfast in the room couldn't have enjoyed more.

Great little spot right in the middle of Avalon. Our room was ready when we arrived, fireplace going, soft music playing and a bottle of wine waiting for us (extra cost for wine). The room is very nice and has a comfy bed and good sized bathroom. When we returned from sight seeing, there was wine and a cheese and fruit plate waiting for us. Breakfast is provided via a cute pantry hamper that included fruit, yogurt, granola, fresh pumpkin bread, milk, juice and coffee. The staff is very nice and knowledgable about the area.

This place is all around great, I am a diamond Hilton honor member because I stay at hotels when traveling often so I know all about hospitality and this place gets an A+; Great staff. The wine and cheese was waiting for me in my room when I returned. Lovely presentation. Jet tub is amazing after a long work week. I would love to come back!

Hands down the nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed at! Our room was immaculate and clean! We stayed and purchased the birthday special and it was phenomenal! The employees were the sweetest people(family feel) and made sure that we stuck around for the 4pm wine and hors d’oeuvres. The Hors d’oeuvres were delicious and fresh and the wine was great! The location was perfect and the bed was sooo comfortable! I can’t recommend this place enough! We will stay here EVERYTIME we go to Catalina from now on!

Beautifully decorated seaside boutique hotel on Avalon Bay. Rooms are small but cozy. Delightful customer service and staff. The generous continental breakfast is more than enough to fill you up before your day of adventure begins. Great place to stay for a couples getaway. If you have a bunch of kids or a big family I'd look elsewhere. Otherwise, location and view is perfect!

Highly recommend!! This place is an icredible hotel and can't wait to keep coming back. We went for our honeymoon and first anniversary and were so well taken care of. The in-room breakfast is amazing and their social hour is perfect. The service is too notch and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is enjoyable.

The room was nice and the staff was courteous. A little overpriced for what it was but that's just how it is on a tiny island with limited places to stay. However, if there's an unexpected death in your family and you have to cut short the amount of time you get to spend on Catalina to attend a funeral and ask snug harbor inn to help you out and not charge you hundreds of dollars for a room you can't use 5 days in advance, don't expect any empathy or understanding.

We stayed 2 nights for our anniversary. It was such a cozy Inn. The room and amenities exceed the photos. The bed and pillows were comfy. The staff was friendly and polite. They set up our in room breakfast and it was great. Also enjoyed the complimentary wine and hors D' oeuvre. Great location in center of town with views of the shops/ocean.

A very nice hotel, fairly well appointed. There are only six rooms available, which leads to my one complaint: in theory once you have stayed, you are given some priority if you wish to stay again in the future. However, I have experienced a great deal of difficulty in getting bookings, though I've stayed a few times. It is very nice, the staff is polite and helpful, but the lack of rooms hurts getting a booking. Great views too depending on the room selected.

My wife and I stayed at Snug Harbor for two nights at the end of a week long vacation, and wish we'd checked in days earlier! The staff is professional but friendly and accommodating. The rooms are near immaculate and with double paned glass all around they are both cool and quiet.
The in-room breakfast is filling and delightfully fresh; a great benefit for us later sleepers who don't need to get going at dawn. While on the pricey side, I was pleased to spend the money for the level of comfort and service we received. I've recommended this hotel time and time again since staying there and realized
