Giving Tree Wellness is committed to offering fun, safe and highly instructional yoga, Pilates and private sessions in a nurturing environment.
Each session is customized for everybody's unique needs and goals. Kate draws upon her 20 years of fitness training and her PTA background. She is experienced to work with the highest level athlete and clients that have significant physical needs. Concentration, clarity, breath and equanimity are stressed in all classes.

I have been going to Giving Tree Wellness since the studio opened in 2012. I have trained at various studios before and found that nobody offers the breadth of knowledge and attention to students quite like Kate Millen and the other instructors at GTW. I use my Pilates and yoga practice to compliment my weight training and rock climbing practice. This year while rock climbing I dislocated 4 ribs in my back. This injury was painful and caused multiple symptoms that limited my range of motion, but I owe my recovery to GTW. After injuring myself, I started training at GTW more frequently. I informed

Giving Tree Wellness, how do I LOVE thee! And yes, that is a statement, not a question! I have been receiving instruction from Kate Millen in Pilates and Yoga and following her for several years. Kate is a remarkable teacher, her knowledge and expertise in the arts of Yoga, Restorative yoga, and Pilates is unsurpassed. Kate has such passion for what she teaches and knows how to help you on a very individual and specific level also helping you grow in your practice.

I've tried most of the Pilates studios in town, and Giving Tree Wellness is my favorite. Instructor Kate Millen doesn't just run you through a generic routine; she focuses on form, making small but important corrections to your form during class. She also focuses on stretching/compression techniques at the end of each mat class, so you get all the benefits of the workout without risking an injury.
