I have always been very particular about my hair and I have been to every single type of hair salon you can think of. For context I have 3C curly hair that I like to wear straight sometimes which makes it really hard to get haircuts because curly cuts often look so weird with straightened hair. Truthfully I have waited to post my review because I wanted to make sure that the quality of the service that I was receiving would stay consistent and it hasn't because it just keeps getting better!

My third stylist at West Vibe and... I'm 3 for 3!!! I am so glad I keep trusting them to be the best, because they are! The only reason I've changed colorists through the past two years is because my first one, Alexa, just left, and my second, Scarlett, was booked during the time I needed. They're both fantastic! I saw Alex today, and although I'm always nervous when trusting a new colorist (big bleach trauma with a stylist a few years ago), this was absolutely one of the best experiences I've ever had. My hair was a nice golden light brown color I love, but the top 1/4

Disappointed...1 Star ratings for Behaviour of Mr.Pavan..who's not given value to their customers...even after informing that came from long rout , no bargaining done...No value given to customer, he thought any how customer will take his product if customer travelled ..but proud to inform we have returned his branded bag and his new launch perfume... because I was focusing on my collection hence took shoe.. else would never suggest anyone nor myself

I went to Maria (the owner) for a color correction, and I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my hair color now!
#Story: I have dark ash brown hair on a cool pale skintone; on a whim I went to a popular-rated salon to make my hair strawberry-blonde w/ foil highlights. It turned out looking awful for my skintone (brassy/coppery/pale blonde at bottom), not a good look--so I came to Maria for a color-correction.

I came into the salon to fix some curtain bangs that we had cut at home and Alex did an amazing job of making it look more natural and trimming the rest of my hair. I am 3/4 Japanese and my hair is representative of that so I normally try to find places that regularly work with hair like mine, but since I was just visiting New York I didn't have my regular salon. Alex did an amazing job so if you get the chance, I definitely recommend getting your hair cut by him :)

I have wavy, thick, and somewhat damaged hair. I found this salon when I was still living in LA. After years of me doing my own hair (I KNOW DUMB MOVE) I have been on a healthy hair journey for a little over 3 years. Going to the same person for 3 years, it was difficult trying to find a good hairdresser out here in New York. But I came across Alexa. And just the sweetest person ever! This was my second time going to William at West Vibe after he saved my hair from a highlights disaster a few months ago. Once again, the salon was clean and every staff member was kind and professional. William was efficient and provided me with guidance on my haircut and style. The pricing is affordable for NYC and the quality of services- I would highly recommend!

Alexa has been my hairstylist for the last 10 years now and anywhere that she goes, I will follow. She does not only use her natural gift of using her artistry to create flawless work, but she is super intentional to understand and work with every client to execute what they want for their hair. She uses a combination of her creativity, education, and ongoing experience to bring your hair goals to reality!!!!! I found this place 3 years ago when I moved to Hell's Kitchen. My primary hair gal was in Chicago and with frequent travel back and forth I continued to go to her as much as I could. That was until I found myself wanting root touch ups in between. Cue West Vibe Salon: I ended up getting paired with Caesar and immediately was inspired by his passion for hair. Wow! I recently shaved my head and wanted a hand-painted look celebrate. I looked all over for someone with the color experience and artistic skill I required. My look is really important for my work so I couldn't take risks.
When I finally found William I was ecstatic! He not only listened to the vibe I wanted but worked with me to design the look I was looking for. He's so skilled with the brush and the color. I'm blown away.

I've always left a salon feeling like " ehh I guess I like this color" but nope not here! I totally left feeling like "bisssssh do you see how good I look" yep .. confidence on a whole new level!
Thanks to Maria who absolutely slayed my coloring .. and let me tell you , she works magic and is the sweeetest person you'll meet! She truly makes you feel so welcomed to her west vibe home.
She was able to remove LAYERS of color I had ( stay away from the box dye.. it's a deadly) and still give me the look I wanted! They even hooked me up with a cut and he was also

I visited West Vibe for the first time recently and I was very impressed. The space is beautiful and the salon is taking the health and safety of its clients and stylists seriously. They are very clear about their pandemic protocols, and I felt completely at ease during my appointment with lots of space between me and other clients and everyone wearing a mask and sanitizing often.
I saw Scarlett, who has been taking care of my hair for a few years now, and she once again did an excellent job. She took lots of time and care in bringing my overgrown pandemic hair back to life with an angled cut

My boyfriend came here for a haircut today and they did an amazing job!! He has very thick, curly hair and it had gotten so long it was down past his neck so a cut was necessary but it's hard to trust just anyone when you're cutting that amount of hair. Zara did such an amazing job styling it and gave him exactly what he wanted!

I went to West Vibe as I was happy with the COVID security precautions they had in place and especially around their staff- unlike my previous hairdresser who I decided not to go back to since we have moved to phase 4.
West Vibe answered my query via Yelp and suggested stylists for short hair. I went with Scarlett and I'm thrilled with the result.
The salon was very much across safety and precautions and everything was super clean.

First I will start off and say that I came to this particular salon because the only person that makes me feel safe, comfortable and takes my hair salon anxiety away, now works here; the talented Miss Scarlett. I will always be a loyal client. Her ability to listen to your needs, offer great advice and the time and patience she takes to complete a job is remarkable. She is also extremely personable, funny and sweet.

This review is late, but I followed Scarlett here and I'm so glad I did! Scarlett's work is always impeccable and she always takes her time giving her clients what they want. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she delivered exactly that! She also always takes time giving me hair education and I so appreciate it! West Vibe is such a beautiful salon and you've done such a great job keeping it clean and dealing with COVID-19. I have been going to Elizabeth for 4 years, and there is no one I trust more. I am insanely picky, but Elizabeth is patient, incredibly talented, and always delivers 110%. I have sent my best girlfriends to her, and would recommend her to EVERYONE. Not only is she masterful in what she does, but she is so friendly and sweet.

I decided I wanted a major hair transformation and, after following the salon owner and the salon on Instagram for a few months, I decided West Vibe was where I wanted to go. I am so glad that I did.
