Worst apartment in dtla, right next to a firestation won’t get any sleep. if your apt is above alley way it is the loudest thing on earth. aswell as staff being useless and not doing anything except a small handful of very helpful and cool secruity guards. leasing office hasn’t answered or responded to my phone calls for past 4 months. people allow dogs to relieve themselves in hallways and ignore it. 1/5

I moved out two months ago and have not received my deposit back. I was charged 165 for excessive cleaning , no matter how clean you leave your apartment you will get this charge because "it needs to be cleaned to their standard" I was also charged for Excessive damages $120 even though I did not damage the apartment at all! The only "damages" I did was hang a couple frames which I would consider normal wear and tear. I followed up about my deposit and their response was "they are on vacation"

What a great initial experience we have had with the WREN Apartments. It all started with Helena and Trestin in the leasing office. They both were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming. The WREN is a great complex with fantastic amenities and great vibe. Helena and Trestin made the leasing process very easy and were always available to answer questions and assist in any way possible in making the leasing process effortless and hassle free. Apartments are only good as it's tenants and tenants should be under management's control. My girl friend lives here and I visit her every week, and I can't believe how some of the tenants behave. First, someone on her floor let's their dog urinate in corridors and in front of the elevator landing area, so the whole floor smells like dog urine. You ever walked past homeless tents and had to pinch your nose because the smell is just too pungent? Well this is about 2x worse. The security sends the cleaning crew to wash it out but I think the owner just got into habit of letting

The leasing office was extremely helpful. I've been going on tours everywhere from South Park, Financial District, and Ktown. Nobody beats the service the leasing team provided me at Wren. Unlike the other buildings, the team here really took the time to explain every detail about the property. I even went back to the building and the team had no issues with showing me the property again and again. The building had great amenities and a front desk concierge. Not many gyms have a squat rack but Wren does. The property was amazing, but the leasing team was even better!

The main thing is it's extremely loud all the time because it's on the same block as a fire station. every ambulance & fire truck in the area leaves that station.
really nice & modern apartments, amenities are nice (when they're open), if you live in building b (the one with the concierge) it's safe!
management keeps changing ~ they don't really care about the residents (they just want your money), concierge doesn't bring food up to your door (they tell delivery to leave it in the lobby) even if the covid restrictions keep being lifted!

We were one of the first to make The Wren our home. Our first two years were perfect! There was style, amenities, activities, and class! The management and maintenance/housekeeping and concierge were more than helpful! The building was spotless. The landscaping was full and healthy. It felt like a community of thriving people in an up and coming area.
Then, the building sold and management shifted! Right away we noticed things were not kept up or maintained as they once were. The landscaping immediately suffered to the point of utter neglect. Piles of garbage, dog waste, flies and unwashed sidewalks

The swimming pool and gym are all facilities are kinda luxurious, but there are too many weak and vulnerable parts. I've often been listened to the song loudly, but it's soundproof, maybe?. I don't know if gorillas live upstairs. the sound of thumping is severe. With Fire Station next to me, it's very noisy. I’ll be Buddah. It's basic to listen to it hundreds of times a day. I can't open the window because cars are quite noisy at dawn. The customer response is also very slow I don't know why. COVID-19?. If this price, it is better to move into another apartment than Wren. Sure.

Her customer service skills are stellar and she always responds to my questions promptly. She even got me a parking spot that is literally next to the elevator and my unit!

I've been trying for some time to speak to someone at this property... They don't answer their phone..., they don't respond to email requests for information, I requested an appointment online to tour the property, they never responded nor confirmed my appointment. How does one make an appointment to tour the facility? What if I actually wanted to rent a unit here? Based on other reviewer's comments, this seems to be a theme at this property. I'm just getting back to my hotel room after being refused to be seen or spoken to by the leasing office at Wren. Extremely unprofessional.
Let's start from the top. I'm moving to DTLA from ATL and flew in for a weekend of apartment touring. I've contacted Wren by phone, email and even their website tour scheduling request for touring every week for three weeks prior to my arrival in L.A. I received no answers to any of my calls or emails and no follow up calls to my request for a tour.
I decided since I'm in DTLA I can at least walk to Wren and ask the leasing for apartment

Just moved into this amazing Wren community. I do understand that everyone has different preference and experiences, but I am experiencing many "aww :) thank you" moments. Special shout out to Melyssa (leasing consultant), Angel(Concierge Specialist), Jose(maintenance manager). I have been looking around many different apartments in DTLA area that could provide me quiet and safe home . Finding a new home during this uncertain time was painful, but Melyssa made this whole process extremely smooth and easy with trying her best meeting my budget/preference, answering many peaky questions

I lived here in building B, PH floor for 1 year. Everything was seamless from leasing to move in. The apartment finishings are high quality and apartments are spacious.
Although there are 2 buildings in 1 it felt somewhat like a boutique living experience. The amenities and social areas in the building are great and always kept clean and never overcrowded.
The maintenance, cleaning staff and concierge were always very pleasant, courteous and efficient.
I felt safe while living in the building and the door locking mechanisms on the street side (olive and hill) always worked and locked immediately

I LOVED visiting WREN over the holidays. It was everything I wanted it to be and more. Tanee, Julia and Arron in the leasing office are amazing. What a great team! So helpful and kind. I was shown different studio and one bedroom options and I found the studio of my dreams. I applied instantly and they let me know by the end of the day that I was approved. They knew how excited I was and worked hard to process everything right away.
Wonderful amenities. Salt water pool with beer on tap. Game room/recreation area. Very nice fitness center and gorgeous yoga studio. Coffee bar. Business center. Private
