The foundation of Zen Yoga Center is to cultivate wellbeing through meditation and mindfulness practices. Integrating body, mind, breath, movement, and meditative awareness. We promote the inter-dependency of all these aspects for personal health and wellbeing. At Zen Yoga Center, we use our extensive training from teachers both past and present to help students and teachers develop their own practice and life processes.
Services
At Zen Yoga Center, we believe yoga can help you explore your full potential. Our classes are designed to accommodate a variety of practices, all focused on a balance between effort and ease, to increase strength, flexibility and vitality, while inspiring peace, clarity and tranquility through mindfulness practices.
We are looking for vibrant, passionate and talented teachers to join our team. As a wellness organization we are seeking teachers that will place the care of students first - compassionate and caring individuals that have the ability to connect with the needs of individual students from a variety of backgrounds and abilities.
As we all practice social distancing, it is important to continue our yoga practice to keep our immune systems strong, keeping both our minds and body healthy and remaining connected to our yoga community. ZYC has added live streaming yoga classes broadcasting to our website, so that you can enjoy our regular classes at home as we navigate through this challenging time together.
Register for classes online and pay for a class pass ahead of time. This will make the check-in process happen more quickly and efficiently. You will not be charged for a regular class if you cannot attend the class, your class pass will remain in your account. If you are coming in with a Groupon or Living Social voucher, or Gift certificate please register for the class online and email your voucher or gift certificate to info@zenyogacenter.com.
Zen Yoga Center invites you to join our meditation sessions where you can learn the basics of meditation and practice as a group. These sessions are "informal" with teachers coming from various backgrounds, mostly lay teachers (non monastic) with the exception of the the occasional monastic guest speakers.

I have been missing the gym during this lockdown and looking for zoom yoga. One of my gym yoga instructors recommended Zen Yoga Center. I have tried two classes and really love it. I may not be going back to the gym when it reopens. Last night Michael Johnson taught a Slow Flow class with sun salutations and music that affected me deeply. I look forward to trying the variety of classes that Zen Yoga offers.

During this pandemic I was searching for zoom yoga classes and I found a great place. I've been attending virtually for six weeks now. Zen Yoga offers a variety of classes and excellent instructors. One of my many favorites is Renee Baker's Yoga Basics. The name sounds like it is a class for beginners but actually it is an opportunity to improve and make your practice more interesting and challenging. Each Basics class focuses on a different part of the body; i.e. feet, knees, etc. I had been doing a pose that never really felt exactly right. Renee gave me a tip that aligned my hips

I have been taking classes at Zen Yoga Center since September of 2017. Chris the owner is wonderful. She is very knowledgeable, responsive, and encouraging.
There are a strong variety of classes from restorative, gentle, and yin to much more challenging flows, and even a Yoga/Pilates fusion class. I also like that there are classes available in the mornings and evenings offering scheduling flexibility. The instructors are all fantastic and have much to offer.
The studio space is perfect - I love being able to gaze out the two large windows, it is so peaceful and calming.

Excellent! The owner/instructor is kind, helpful, friendly & very knowledgeable. She welcomed me as soon as I walked into the studio
& assisted me during the session with some challenging poses. The yoga space is clean & provides all the needed equipment. I would highly recommend this place, especially for restorative yoga. I have a shoulder injury & the class helped alleviate some of the discomfort

I've been doing Flow Yoga at Zen Yoga Center in the mornings and I love it. The teacher I've had, Chris, really knows her stuff but is also more than patient with relative newbies like me. I've found this to be a fantastic way to start my day and I love the studio so much I've even gone to a few evening classes of Restorative Yoga. AllI can say about that is 'wow!' It's definitely the perfect way to make yourself feel wonderful after a tough day...heck, even a day that's not so tough. There are plenty of yoga studios out there, and I've only been to

I've been doing yoga for just over a year and have recently discovered the Zen Yoga Center, and I can't say enough good things about it. I've been attending Flow Yoga classes every morning and have been to a few of the Restorative Yoga classes that are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, (even if you're not a practitioner of yoga you're really cheating yourself if you've never done Restorative...it's amazing and you need no prior experience to delve right in!)
The space is both quiet and cozy, and the instructor, Chris, whose classes I've been attending is really intent on making those of us
