The hotel had blinds with no curtains on window. Being on a main road, the lights and cars driving by kept us up most of night. Had dirty towels hanging in room and feet turned black walking around room. Bed had crumbs under sheets and room smelled funny. Hotel ended up charging a fee while checking in that made me wish we just stayed somewhere else.

Very disappointed. this hotel needs a ton of updating and a good cleaning. they had the audacity to charge us $160 per night which is ridiculous, especially with no "extras". the restaurant is shut down. this hotel is not $160 per night quality, more like $60 per night quality. the only saving grace is there is a beautiful view of the lake and they did have picnic tables, we had dinner outside during sunset which was nice. the room just felt yucky and musty. there was hair in the shower drain from the previous guest, they obviously do not clean in between which is also quite disgusting considering

Room was outdated and dirty. The table was super sticky, and the counter tops were dirty. The edges of rooms and floor was dirty. We also were charged $30 extra for our 3 year old. Kind of silly for a room that’s already $150/night. They also do not have hot breakfast or room cleaning for multiple day stay. They wouldn’t give us extra towels when asked (even though we paid $30 for our 3 year old).

The staff were jerks. Absolutely terrible to deal with. Rooms are dated and not stocked well, and definitely could be cleaner, the management doesn't care how guests are treated either as long as they make the extra buck, do not stay here if you're visiting family there was an extra $5 per person to use the pool, which was mostly empty.

I found this place on my way to lego land and thought I'd pop in for a night or two, but the time I spent there were the two most restless nights I've had in a really long time. When I first arrived I decided to take off my shoes and settle in, not only was my room small and crowded, but after walking around for 5 minutes my feet were dark and covered in filth. I also found a sticky substance in the crevices of the tiles. While I understand it's hard during COVID-19, This is the reason safety precautions need to be taken! In the bathroom there was not only a hole in the shower but

Such a beautiful piece of property! You can tell the owners take pride in it. Very clean and large suite. Full kitchen separated from bedroom, walk-in closet and lovely bathroom. Sitting on the lake at sunset was wonderful and peaceful. Nice pool area with a lift for the disabled which I thought was precious. No hot tub tho but that definitely wasn't an issue!

We love going to this hotel. The owners are really sweet and helpful. It is close to Legoland. It is very family friendly. The kids can fish, swim in the pristine pool or just play on the sand. They serve a yummy homemade breakfast. The rooms are really nice and can accommodate a romantic getaway or a family get together. We live 5 hours away but go 2-3 times a year and the owners always remember us It's like our little bit of paradise. You won't be disappointed

This resort has a beautiful view and a friendly evening door greeter. What that bad is that they give you white towels and expect you not to stain them or you have to pay extra? I think that if you do come here bring extra towels of your own, water bottles because the plumbing something is terribly wrong with the water and I would not drink it. I couldn't even rinse my mouth out with it it's so bad. They only serve coffee with their breakfast there's no juice or water and they aren't attentive to the breakfast buffet . I think for the price and location I'd step up my breakfast

Haven't been to Florida in almost 10 years found this gem of a Hotel in Winter Haven Florida right down the road from Lego Land. My family and I had a great stay. The rooms had million dollar views which over look the lake. It was so relaxing just hanging out by your screened porch and chilling. Included is a continental breakfast which Imo is fantastic. The scrambled eggs are amazing. Also the owners are extremely courteous and professional. They go out of there way to try and ensure you and your family have a relaxing and comfortable stay.
Please bear in mind that this is not a 5 star hotel

I can't complain this place came to our rescue when our first hotel was disgusting... They gave us a suite and let us check everything out before we agreed to stay. The people were so nice and accommodating will definitely come back again. Pool area is great for kids. Lake view is beautiful. Breakfast is decent better than most hotels.

My husband, two kids and I stayed here for one night while visiting Legoland. It is very close to Legoland as well as just about any casual restaurant chain you can imagine, as well as a very nice Publix and these were all pluses. We have previously stayed at the Legoland hotel which was fun for the kids, but we can't justify the price of the Legoland hotel nor the mediocre and very expensive food there, so we thought we would give this place a try. For the most part, we were satisfied and would stay here again. We had a King Suite (it was the upstairs part of one of the townhouses with

I have stayed in my fair share of hotels, but I have never seen one like this. Lake Roy Inn is an aesthetic jewel, located right on the lake. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, with beautiful plants, flowers, and trees to give it a fusion of tropical and far east feel. The breakfast is not your typical continental breakfast, there are hot items available. The rooms are comfy and clean, with actual tile floor instead of carpet. This wasn't just a stay, it was an experience. Can't wait to come back!

Excellent place to stay when visiting LegoLand. We weren't sure where to stay and the LegoLand Hotel was completely booked. This place is less than 2 miles away and situated on the lake. For $30 more we got a suite on the ground level across from the pool and lake. The owner was very happy and friendly. Our room was clean and quite which was exactly what we needed after a long day at the park. The beds could be a little more comfortable with new pillows and bedding this is the only reason I gave 4 stars. Would stay here again the next time we visit LegoLand

This was our first visit, and we brought our boat AND our little dog ($10/night extra each). Jimmy is a very involved owner & let us know straight away not to walk the dog in the back, near the lake. Unfortunately, we saw other guests letting their dogs LOOSE in the back and no owner in sight...so I don't know if it's a selective rule or not. Anyway, it was a good motel for both boating and having our dog stay with us.
Lots of families with kids, of course, with Legoland nearby. We are smokers, and noticed our neighbors requested a move to another room after we arrived (guess

I do not understand the other reviews on here and other websites, but this place is a dump and at 80 bucks a night it is highway robbery too. Where to begin. We share a door with the room behind us, it is a closet door not a proper door, I could kick right through it and it is so ill fitting that I can see the light of the room around the edges of the door. I can hear what they are watching on tv too, and every time they leave their room the door shakes. The carpets are probably older than I am. There are tiles loose on the bathroom floor, I actually pulled one up and asked my husband if he wanted
