We were former residents at a Lemle building in the upper east side last year for 2 years. We had the option of renewing our lease during Covid and the office was extremely responsive and was willing to work with us. As to the unit itself, the building was dated, but LC Lemle had an online service to make a maintenance request. The super cleaned the building every day and overall the properties were well kept and affordable. We also appreciate that they have many buildings on the UES and are willing to work with you to transfer to another unit when your lease is up.

I did not have a great experience renting from LC Lemle. They are not a landlord that cares about their tenants, and they certainly show it if you ever need anything from them. Anytime there was a maintenance issue, (ex: rodents, hot water issues, mold/water damage, cleanliness of building in a pandemic) I was met with resistance. It was incredibly draining and time consuming to get anything looked into or resolved. I found everyone in their office to be incredibly rude and unhelpful, except for the receptionist. It definitely was not a good experience and I would not recommend them as a landlord

Lived in an LC Lemle property for over 2 years. Terrible experience dealing with their maintenance team and leasing office. Had no hot water for over a year, which was reported multiple times. The people who work there are not nice and are an absolute pain to deal with. Whoever runs this business is incredibly greedy the reason why NYC needs such radical pro tenant laws. They do not care about their tenants. Do not make the same mistake I made and rent somewhere else.

I’ve been a resident for over two years and have had nothing but great experiences with LC Lemle! The application process was painless. Maintenance requests are handled diligently, french doors, bright hardwood floors and exposed brick are common in their apartments, rent is very fair given the location and size of apartments, the administrative staff is friendly and helpful, buildings are kept clean, and overall they mean business. Highly recommend!

Great! I was renting a place from LC Lemle in the UES for 2 years and my experience was positive.
The building was clean and well maintained, management office and maintenance is responsive.
Moving in/out was without any issues, LC Lemle leasing people was kind and helpful.
After moving out security deposit check was returned to me in a timely manner by mail.
Highly recommend!

LC Lemle is a great real estate / management company and stands out among what can be pretty terrible rental experiences in the City. The leasing staff are very helpful - recently helping me transfer to a new, larger unit after two years. The new unit had clearly had some upgrades to appliances and counter tops, which was nice to see the investments being made in the apartments. Maintenance is also significantly more responsive than I've experienced in other NYC apartments. Highly recommend!

I have lived in one of the company's properties in the UES for 1 year. I had some issues during the year but they were timely resolved. In general, I was happy with the apartment and the company. They even gave me the reference letter when I was applying to the co-op where I was moving to.
But last few months have been terrible. I couldn't use my backyard due to the leaking a/c from the neighbors upstairs, and despite my multiple complaints the issue remained. During the whole summer I couldn't use the backyard without having the water from the a/c dripping on my head while sitting there.

The apartments are well price for the location. If you want a decent well prices apartment but zero support from the company - then this is your place. The maintenance staff is rude - They gave me a 5 minute warning via email to let me know that men would be working on my fire escape. I was getting ready for work, in my pjs when I saw two men right outside of the window in my studio apartment.

I just rented an apartment through LC Lemle and the experience was seamless. Everyone at the office was professional and efficient. I found a beautiful apartment within my price range on a Wednesday. By Friday I had completed the paperwork and had been approved. Mr. Christian Curtis was most professional and helped me through the process. I made sure that I took plenty of business cards on the way out so I could share with my friends. I highly recommend LC Lemle.

My wife and I have been looking at apartments for the last couple of months playing with the idea of moving to Manhattan from Brooklyn. Our budget has led us to the Upper East Side which is way more interesting than I ever gave it credit for. We stopped into LC Lemle while we were exploring the neighborhood and talked with one of the agents. I was reluctant to go in because I've had bad experiences with New York real estate in the past but everyone we spoke to was really nice and let us take this process at our own pace. We saw some great places too. We still haven't made a decision on where to
