I loved living here my first 2 years. Everything was great, clean, the best student apartment in my opinion. This is my last year living here and it’s completely different than any other year. Gym never has wipes or hand sanitizer to wipe machines off. Nobody answers emails for questions or concerns. Residents are not considerate and stay up all hours of the night screaming and running down the halls. Staff not as welcoming as it use to be and has been rude at times. Just not the same place I use to love. It’s extremely disappointing to see the direction it’s gone.

This place is awful and deserves 0 stars. They only have good reviews because they offer prizes and money to those that give a good review. This place is over priced and falling part, when you decide to move out they charge you for everything. Things that were broken when you already got there, and when you tell them that they blame it on you. The management is extremely rude and the woman who is about to comment underneath this and say "please feel to reach out to me" is unprofessional and rude as well.

Stanhope is an extremely poorly made building. When my daughter lived here 3 floors flooded and they did not even providing temporary housing when the plumbing issues was there fault. The apartments also had cockroaches and mold while we paid $900 for her to live there. On top of this stanhope 6 months later is sending charges for a cleaning fee and broken barstools which were already there when my daughter moved in. The apartment was left spotless and they refuse to take the charges off. Stanhope attempt to take your money in so many ways it's embarrassing. The dishwasher did not work the entire

I am honestly so happy to be moving out of Stanhope. When I first moved here, it was my dream apartment and I loved everything about. 3 years later and it is horrible. The staff has a horrendous attitude, especially the college girl who I am assuming is just part-time. I wish I got her name because she is always so rude to me when I ask for a package. I won't go into detail about the lack of phone calls being answered because I know they are understaffed, but if they get more staff and this is still an issue, it should be worth noting. A small issue, but more of just an annoyance, the elevators

I was not overly impressed with Stanhope Apartments. For the amount of money you pay I was disappointed with my daughters apartment. On move in day in August, the cleaning crew was in the apartment during their scheduled move in time and they did not finish cleaning. Floors were sticky, cabinets greasy, and mold and dirt in all vents in bathrooms. We contacted management but nothing has been resolved. When you are paying $840 a month I expected a little more. Its a great location to campus but lower your expectations.

Great amenities but the price for rent is way too high if you're looking for a 4 bedroom (like $900-$1000 EACH person!!). There's also loud parties and drunk people so if you're into that it's fun, but it's not the place to be if you need peace and quiet. The gym is okay but not fantastic. Easy to find friends here.

Stanhope is the epitome of student living. The community is amazing along with the service. The gym is amazing, but it would be even better if that added a squat rack. There are some great places to student even though I don’t do much of that. The people who work here are so nice and helpful especially when there’s a maintenance issue. If you are thinking about living around campus I would put Stanhope at the top of the list and trust me you won’t regret it!

I’ve been living at Stanhope for a while now and I absolutely enjoy it. From the cozy rooms to the energetic staff, I feel at home here. The strip of shops below the complex is super convenient, especially for college students without transportation. It’s nice to have the staff at the front office know you on a first name basis and take time out to make sure you’re living comfortably. There’s always an opportunity to get free food, drinks, and other gifts as well. Overall, my experience here at Stanhope has been beyond amazing.

I have lived at Stanhope for the past 2 years and I absolutely LOVE it here. The amenities are absolutely amazing and I love the community involvement here. The office managers are constantly engaging the community members and providing an amazing experience. Maintenance is extremely helpful whenever I am in need of assistance. If you are looking for a trendy and fun apartment complex to live at in the Raleigh area this is the best apartment there is!

I'm a student at NC State and I currently live at Stanhope. I love it here. It is a close walk to my classes and in great proximity to everything on Hillsborough Street. Yeah the walls are thin and it can get a little rowdy but I enjoy the social aspect of Stanhope overall. Lot's of my friends live here so it is very convenient for me. The staff is very friendly and the amenities are awesome. The price compared to the new apartments going up nearby is much better in my opinion. Stanhope is clean, has a great location, and still relatively new so I think the price is warranted. I&apos

Lived here for 2.5 years of college and remained a visitor of residents post graduation. It has officially reached the lowest of the low.
The original appeal of Stanhope was that it is RIGHT next to NC State's campus, and the place was brand new. FLAWS: Rent is jacked up by hundred(s) each year, walls are paper thin (I could hear my roommates phone calls in full detail), issues with temperatures being way too low or too high, CONSTANT middle of the night fire drills that are unbearably loud, very expensive and limited parking (you get what you pay for), unfriendly property managers, and constant

In my opinion, the cost of living in Stanhope is much too high for the quality of living that it offers. Yes, it is extremely close to campus, and yes, it is a fairly new building and the rooms and facilities are fancy, but the students that live there make it an okay-at-best place to live. They are extremely loud, destructive, and more often than not show a complete disregard for the general well-being of the apartment complex and those living in it. The public areas in Stanhope (especially stairwells and elevator areas) are usually covered with trash and miscellaneous puddles of liquid that range

The place is beautiful. I lived here the first year it opened and it was awesome for a bit. The rent is over priced. The parking lot isn't big enough for all residents so I had to park in another complex's deck. The walls are super thin so you can hear almost everything. There is no AC in the elevator lobby areas so on hot August days your are sweating just as much waiting on an elevator to the 6h floor as you are outside. Things would break off the wall, get fixed by maintenance and break off again within a week.
The pool and gym are nice, which is great. The building is a short walk

Stanhope has been the best living experience I could've ever asked for! I was unsure what to expect going into a brand new complex, knowing naturally some issues would arise, as it was year one of it being opened. It exceeded my expectations. It is as modern as it gets and provides such a comfortable and convenient location for its residents. The perks never end. There are endless amenities and the space provided in each unit is well over the average. The whole facility is amazing and provides more than enough to provide an optimal living space. I am honored to have people over to visit

Stanhope is by far the most modernized, attractive, and comfortable off campus student living available to NC State students. Having lived in the 4x4 floor plan for the last 9 months, I can say first hand that Stanhope an amazing location, and has an endless list of perks. The room size is comfortable (good closet space), the kitchen is great (good cabinet space), and the rooms come furnished with furniture and a TV. It takes me less than 5 minutes to walk to campus and 10 to get to the brickyard. The pool/patio, game room, and especially the workout facility are awesome. And to top it all off

Stanhope is beautiful. Very beautiful. The rooms are nice, the design is nice, everything is nice. Esse quam videri. To be, rather than to seem. It is North Carolina's motto, but not true of Stanhope. Appearances can be very deceiving.
I signed for an $810/month room in a 2 BR. I was later told that they only had super premium cool pool view apartments left of that particular floor plan. This super premium cool pool view carries an upcharge. A sensible business would allow me to pay the rent amount that is in my lease. This sensible business would acknowledge that it is their fault for not

I got the opportunity to tour the building before it officially opened through work and all I can say is 'WOW'. These apartments are fully furnished, there is a parking deck attached to the building (for extra $), each floor has a small conference room with plenty of outlets and workspace, there is a cyber cafe/kitchen on the main floor, a giant pool, a giant gym area, tanning beds, a game room, and some general lounge areas. It is a very, very nice place and I would have killed to have something like that up at Appalachian State when I was there. I can't speak to what it's
