Leasing staff and property manager are responsive to requests and questions. Service with a smile is not lacking here! :) Apartment was clean and move-in ready when I arrived. My only wish is that the parking stalls were not so tight but that's not in control of the leasing staff. Thanks for a great living experience! I'm moving back home to CA but Verse was a nice home for me during my time in Seattle. Cheers!

Moved in a couple months ago - so far so good! Management has been friendly and responsive and taking care of any issues quickly. We like the location with access to so many shops and restaurants in the neighborhood.

We moved in 2 weeks ago, and so far we love it! The location is great. The neighborhood is vibrant and just a few blocks away from Capitol Hill. So you get the benefit of it being a bit quieter while still having access to fun eateries and nightlife. The staff is super kind and accommodating (shout out to Kiara, Ming, and Althea). My partner and I moved to Seattle from Nevada, and we reserved out apartment sight unseen. The management team were very communicative throughout the entire process and were very accommodating.

The reason I am giving it a 4/5 however, is because when we reserved the

Had an excellent tour with the property manage, Justin. He was extremely hospitable and everyone was well masked with extras available for visitors. The amenities were fantastic, but the lack of package locker system and relatively limited concessions led me to select another apartment. Great place though with an excellent location, might be a good option post COVID!

My roommate and I toured a room at Verse and decided to take it. We then filled out the application and paid $200 (an application fee + an internal application fee + a holding fee to guarantee the apartment). They said they had a discount for the fees, but that it would be credited to our first rent payment. A few days later we received a call saying that we'd been approved for the apartment, and that they'd send us welcome documents and have us sign the lease a few weeks before move-in. That seemed like a red flag; we'd never signed a lease that late, and we felt uncomfortable signing a lease

Truly shocked that there are so many decent reviews of verse in this yelp page. Makes me think how many of them might be fake? I've literally stopped yelping awhile back but decided to end my hiatus to specifically send a public warning to all those considering a move to Verse Seattle.

It all started Feb 1... which is the original contract date that we had decided on to move into Verse... and they notified us about 1 week before to let us know that the apartment would actually not be ready until the 6th. ... That probably should have been the red flag that I needed to avoid moving here..

When my search for a new home began a few months ago, I mush admit Verse Seattle wasn't on my list of buildings to tour or a building that I really considered moving into, but a building I fell in love with as soon as I toured it for the first time. I left a couple months ago, but I wanted to write about my experience about the staff and how seamless the application process felt.
Verse Seattle made all of this possible for us. The helpful staff was one of the main reasons we choose this place. From the first time we visited, it truly seemed they cared about finding us a home that would work best

Great place. New building. AMAZING GYM!! best part of the place. Neighbors were quiet. Management was good, Mindy always addressed things in a timely manner. Maintenance was also timely with repairs. Plenty of parking and quick access into downtown and cap hill.

Complete slumlords. There's an alarm in the hallway buzzes for days at a time. The gate slams loud enough to wake you up. They stopped letting tenants use the common ares because they're too lazy to clean them. Emergency lights in the stairways don't work, as I've learned from multiple power outages. They got sick of sorting the mail in the mail room, so you just have to sort through piles of junk. (Also the windows are old and terrible and you hear every sound from the street.)

Location is pristine for commuting. The office team is on-top of things and their communication is great. The new manager Crystal, and maintenance guy Steve are great. The office personnel are always available for me, no matter how busy they are. Which feels great to know that your still appreciated once already a resident. The gym is open 24 hours which is awesome! I've referred my friends to live here and received great bonuses as well.

If you decide to move or live at Verse please make sure your deposits and money you pay them are actually accounted for. The management has a tendency to tell you one thing but not follow through. I'm currently disputing move out charges because they didn't record the deposits my roommate and I made.

Also, there is a fish market on the first floor so the apartment building smells like rotting fish pretty frequently.

Steer clear of this building. I lived on the first floor. It always smelled of fish thanks to the fish market that rents a retail space, and the trash compacter was consistently left open making the hallway smell putrid. The management staff consistently rotates out. They had 3 property managers in the year I lived there. The elevator and first floor lobby was consistently dirty and I would have to email the leasing agent about spills. Also it is impossible to get packages as their office hours are 9-6. I was never home during those hours and would have to wait until Sat, when they don't open until

My roommates and I's apartment (B205) flooded at the end of June 2018 when a pipe burst on the 5th floor, and the flooding made it's way down to our unit on the 2nd floor. Water pouring from the light fixtures at 6:45 a.m., alarms ringing, a firefighter at my door telling me to grab things that matter and get out.. and the management and staff at Verse Seattle did nothing to help us figure out what to do going forward. They did however inform us that rent would not be abated if our stuff was still in the apartment (even though it was unlivable and would need multiple weeks of drying,

Great management

Aside from the great amenities and ideal central location, the property management team was very understanding of my request to renew my lease at my current rate. I was pleasantly surprised when they accommodated my request and am excited to live here another year.

Thanks Verse Seattle!

Has been a month since we moved into the Verse and only good things to say. Not only the apartment is great and a major upgrade from the matchbox apartments that we saw in downtown, but also the management is just plain awesome. Emily is on top of her emails and I can pretty much blindly trust on her when it comes to getting my queries answered and problems solved. So glad we made the move and look forward to a happy stay for a long time. Cheers Emily, we love you. :)

Hey guys!

Nothing but good things to say about this property! A great location with a clubroom and amenities room (gym) that are nothing to scoff at, Verse is a wonderful place to stay at in the city.

While I've seen some complaints about amenities, (I do wish the oven doors had little windows so I don't let the heat out to check on my cooking) this is more than compensated for by the constant work that management put into making this place better for everyone. It is both noticeable and appreciated.

In this arena, their conduct is aboveboard.

I have lived here for 6 months and love it. The gym is great and you really don't need anything else from what is included. The staff is always friendly and curious and a pleasure to interact with. In terms of package pick up the staff is always available during normal hours and if prompted will try to stay longer if needed for a resident to pick up a package. The parking issues within the garage are complicated as there are condos in an attached building and the spots for Verse residents are intermixed within these spaces. I had parking for the first two months but decided to get rid of it and

I love living at Verse.

First of all, I just moved here and the staff have been really great so far.

Second: great building. Pet friendly, reasonable prices in my view, plus amenities. The common areas are nice, really well designed. Great gym. And lots of security for the building and underground parking.

Third: location. I love the neighborhood, great cheap spots to eat and a short bike ride to light rail. They have zip cars in the garage if you need to drive somewhere. I work in Bellevue so it's not too bad with I-90 so close, especially considering I wanted to live in Seattle and

Updating from last review as management has definitely changed for the better here!

Our apartment is spacious for 2 with 1 bed/1bath and a small den that we use for storage. Wish the den could be added to our living room since it gets really crowded. The bedroom is spacious with a walk-in closet and the bathroom stores the washer/dryer which was definitely a necessity!

Our main problem is that all of our appliances kept breaking and we had to put in several work orders to maintenance then also follow-up with management to get it fixed. Management has recently changed with the new year and there

Pros:
- Staff is friendly.
- Somewhat lower price (although it is debatable given the constant problems and the state of amenities).

Cons:
- Security system is a mess. Call box doesn't work. I can't access the community lounge with my key-card.
- I've mentioned the above couple times to the staff but nothing gets done.
- Some entrances occasionally don't open due to key-card reader problems.
- Garage doors frequently breaking.
- Elevators always smell like and have dog urine in them.

UPDATE:
I moved to Mercer Island, where I pay less for a lot better amenities, sanitary common

I really like living in this building. It's well maintained and peaceful. The building structure is solid and I hardly ever hear my neighbors. The leasing agents and maintenance guy do an outstanding job. One thing really starts to bother me though. It's the dog piss in the elevator that I encounter almost every morning. The smell is so bad that I have to pick up my own dog because he refuses to go in the elevator cabin. The maintenance guy tries to keep up with cleaning but if it occurs early morning before he wakes up, I'm the first one who has to ride the mess out.
