I love this nail salon. Best manicure I have gotten since I moved to the city 4 years ago and now can't go any place else.

My pedicure was okay here. Everyone was friendly, but overall it wasn't anything special. I had to get gel taken off and they didn't tell me that it was $20 extra until I found out when I paid. It was just overpriced and my pedicure didn't really last that long.

Recently, I had a no chip manicure/pedicure at STIL with Darima and was extremely satisfied. She was pleasant, thorough and kept her station clean. I was impressed with the longevity of my nails after 2 weeks. As a new client, I found the receptionist welcoming and very helpful getting me an appointment which was convenient for my schedule. The atmosphere felt relaxed and appreciated some needed chill time. I felt the salon did a good job with social distancing.
I'll be back!

If you're frustrated with hair like mine - fine and thin -- and are thinking about extensions, let me recommend Michelle at Stil Salon on Oak St. in Chicago. With high-quality extensions, Michelle accomplished what I never could; she made my hair thicker, fuller and able to "weather" a rainy day! Totally undetectable, a perfect color match, and easy to care for. And wow, is she fast!! She's been taking care of my hair for the last 10 years. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

I happened to come across this place looking on the Groupon site. Looked them up on Yelp and the reviews and pictures were good so I made a 3/20/19 mani/pedi appointment online which they way they have it set up on their website is so seamless to do and I commend them on that. I went after work during the week.

I came in for a gel mani and regular pedicure and was immediately excited upon entering STIL. My favorite spot was not open and I was able to snag a last minute appointment. Overall my experience at the salon was great. Everyone was friendly and everything was done well. The issue is when I got home. My gel manicure (I get one every few weeks) chipped the first night. I was leaving the next morning for a trip, so there was not much I can do. Now, a week after almost every single nail is chipped and/or peeling off. I have found my new pedi place. After trying a few places in the city, found a gem. The ladies are great! Salon is clean and inviting. And who wouldn't want to overlook Oak St! Oh did I mention Starbucks is at the corner.

Have been twice and had 2 different staff persons. Both were excellent!! Front desk staff is wonderful. This is what I had in mind for an Oak Street salon:)
Best manicure and pedicure that I've received...anywhere really. There's a special on Tuesdays for the mani/pedi combo...really a top notch spa treatment at a fair price.

I am almost 8 months pregnant and lucky to have some of the best friends a girl could ask for, because that's exactly how I ended up at Stil on Saturday at 1:15pm. My friends wanted to take me out for a day of pampering and relaxation something that has truly become a luxury after the birth of my now almost 3 year old daughter. After an amazing brunch, we arrived at Stil for spa manicures and pedicures. My last nail experience was beyond horrific and I was ready to really have someone do justice on my hands and feet. Been meaning to get here for over a year and finally did. Had a spa pedicure and no chip with Bessie and I could nearly cry, I'm so happy.

Bessie was super detail oriented and sweet which I really appreciated. It had been some time since I've had a pedicure and my feet were embarrassingly rough. When I mentioned how much better they looked apologetically, she made it seem like it was not a big deal, well played sista!

I've booked a spa no chip mani and am so glad to come back here regularly.

Fabulous salon for pedicure & manicure! I was visiting Chicago & thanks to Yelp reviews I went to this salon for pedi/mani. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a REAL SALON not some "solar nail" or "dime a dozen" nail places -- this place is clean, relaxing, cell phone free & scent free (no acrylic smell) ... enjoy your spa day here!

Still the absolute best place to get a no chip mani and pedi in Chicago. Seriously, the products used are great, the salon is pristine, and the attentiveness of the nail technicians is like none other.

Visiting Chicago for a couple days and booked a same day mani/pedi with Nellie who did an AMAZING job. Takes pride in what she does with out tacking on extra time in the chair. Owner is very courteous and driven to make everyone comfortable and happy with their experience. Highly recommend!

Watch out ladies, this place could cancel your appointment without informing you. If I could I would have given this place 0 rating for their receptionist who was in charge of booking my mani pedi.

I want to clarify where my frustration was coming from since the manager has contacted me. I am not speaking to my experience of the actual service. My upsetting experience was mainly with the person in charge of booking my appointment when I booked my appointment over the phone. She did not give me clear instructions of the appointment and cancellation policy, did not tell me my appointment

Was able to get a Christmas Eve appointment for a no chip manicure. Upon arrival I was promptly led to the station and was told that Iris would be my manicurist. I was offered water, coffee or a Mimosa. I chose a green tea because it was a bit too early for me to partake in a Mimosa.

Now for the service:
Don't expect them to soak your nails in warm water. That was my first time with one like that and thought it was a little odd, but what the heck, they had good reviews. Iris did a great job on my nails. She was meticulous and took the time to make sure that I liked my color and that it looked

My best friend and I went tonight for last-minute pedicures, and they were fantastic! I'm really glad we were able to get appointments just a few hours beforehand. Everyone we met was really nice, and our technicians, Holly and Tammy, were both great. My legs and feet feel amazing, and both of our polish jobs are really well done. The place was clean, hip, and had a great selection of brands and colors. We were even offered a glass of bubbly, but sadly, we both can't imbibe right now.

UPDATE: 17 days later and my gelish mani still looks pretty good, except for one nail lifted today and I had to take it off. Thanks again Stil for a great experience.

I chose this nail salon based on the almost 5 star ratings.
Unfortunately, I had a different experience. The manicure and manicurist I and my friend had earned only 1 star. They don't soak your hands, the massage lasts about 40 seconds, we had to direct her through each step- including to file all nails evening and asking for the dryer. It was horrible.
Although the salon was clean, the feeling of it was inimical and inhospitable as it seemed like a social hour for their frequenters and they didn't interact with us- which would be ok if they weren't telling their life stories to
