Comprehensive eye exams are critical to protect and preserve one of your most precious senses - your vision. Cedar Park Vision uses state-of-the-art technology for evaluating and correcting your vision. Utilizing the most recent advances in contact lens technology, our doctors at Cedar Park Vision provide precision fitting of contact lenses.
Our primary eye care service includes a complete eye exam that analyzes eye health and vision function. In addition to comprehensive eye exams and vision testing, Drs. Wampler & Wineinger provide testing for glaucoma, macular degeneration and cataracts. Our full service facility also offers glasses, contact lenses, and pre and post-operative care.
Don't assume your child has good vision because he or she passed a school vision screening. A 20/20 score means only that your child can see at 20 feet what he or she should be able to see at that distance. It does not measure any of the other vision skills needed for learning. Vision screenings are important but they should not be substituted for a thorough vision examination.
Unfortunately, if not cared for properly, ocular health is something that can deteriorate quickly, bringing with it some potentially serious consequences such as eye diseases. One of the biggest dangers of eye diseases is that they can present no visual symptoms until the disease has progressed substantially.

First time at this office and I didn't have a preference of MD so I told receptionist to fit me in with whoever. So glad I got Dr. Tran. She was so sweet and kind. She made me feel comfortable and welcomed. the office was clean and other staff was also friendly. can't say enough great things about Dr. Tran. If you decide to go here do yourself a favor and request her :)

Absolutely great first experience!! From the moment I walked in the ladies in the front desk were very helpful and able to get me scheduled to be seen, same day, within 30 mins. Dr. Tran is thorough and great at explaining everything. Aslyne made it very easy and fun to pick out new glasses. Plus the music in the lobby was a big plus for me. I would definitely recommend them!

Perfect experience from start to finish with Dr. Jessica Tran. Making an appointment was easy and the billing staff answered all my questions about insurance coverage and ensured that the benefits were applied correctly. I was in and out within 30 minutes but never felt rushed-- indeed I felt well taken care of.

I have been a patient of Dr. Jeff Wineinger for several years. For my 2PM appointment, I waited about 7 minutes for the office to open after their lunch break. Everything went smoothly after check-in, and Dr. Wineinger was great as usual! I think their lunch policy is good for employees as well as patient service. My GP Dr. in Austin had a similar policy. Looking forward to my next check-up!

Over the last week I've had just about the worst days of my life... my daughter has been in the hospital from major surgery and now my grandson is in the NICU... during this time I happened to tear my last pair of contacts. I called this morning and spoke to the rudest person I've ever met. Even the people around me could hear her through the phone and it was not even on speaker. I asked for a loaner pair of contacts so that I could continue helping my daughter and now daily trips to dell children's. She insisted it was impossible, really trying to sell me on an appointment, when I don't even know

My son was accused of trying to steal glass frames as he tried different pairs on. The salesperson approached him asking where the designer frames he tried on were. He showed the salesperson where he placed them. The employee began looking directly at his pockets as if he had put the frames in them. It was quite disconcerting and insulting. Our family can certainly afford eyeglasses for our son and much more. It is sad how young people and particularly young minority males are treated. I recommend not patronizing this store.

I drove 30 minutes to look at frames and to set up an appointment if I saw frames I liked. Walked in and was told I had to leave because they were closed for lunch. Other people were there. I asked if I could just take a few minutes to take a quick look at their frames and I was told, "No. We're closed for lunch." I had my insurance info with me. They definitely lost a sale.

I think it stinks that they charge 8 bucks to fix a single nose pad on a pair of glasses that they sold me. I have purchased 3 pair of glasses over the past several years and i feel like i was just someone who walked in.
I have, in the past, actually passed up Cedar Park Vision to have a simple repair on glasses that i got from CPV. I was able to take them to a different eye care business and have them repaired for free.

Ridiculously expensive, the sales person will try to up sale and didn't even bother to check my insurance if it is covered, i needed just reading glasses , their glasses starts at $170 and the same fame i bought online for 30 bucks , common people you trying to rip off people , trying to charge me $500 for just reading glasses plus they will charge my insurance, i end up buying frame online but still paid $105 out of pocket for just glasses, and the manager, the lady was so rude , and now i have to wait 2 weeks so they can put the glasses in the frame i bought online ,

I had my first visit here yesterday and it was top notch! Everything was spotless. They sanitize all glasses you try on so you can feel comfortable shopping for glasses if you are worried about C19. They open the door for you upon arrival and dismissal. Dr Jeff is an Aggie alum and was super knowledgeable about contacts and my lasik questions. He recommended a new brand of contacts that feel better than any I have ever used before!! Everything about my visit was made pleasant by the staff and the Doctor. They were able to get me into a time slot the same day! They are taking precautions to make sure that everyone involved is safe and I was never rushed or inconvenienced. Every person I interacted was pleasant and welcoming from the appointment setting team, the finance person and especially Dr. Kim They worked with me on options because I have limited insurance. Just to be clear, this is a review for glasses, only. We didn't get to see the doctors here. We ordered glasses for our 4 year old here after someone recommended they were great for kids. They were scratched beyond being able to wear within a week!!!!! To replace them it would be over $100. Our 2 year old wears glasses and anytime they get scratched, we typically get them fixed for free with our insurance or minimal cost (less than $25). We won't be returning.

I would like to share with you the phenomenal experience I had at Cedar Park Vision. It was time for me to make a change with my glasses as previously I had gone to a discount place. My old glasses pinch my nose and routinely slide down. They were not very stylish. Time for an upgrade!

My dad had an accident at work involving his eye and needed to see someone at 5 pm. We for sure thought we couldn't get in anywhere because it was the end of the day but when we called their office, the Optometrist waiting to treat my dad. He was so nice and helpful, such a lifesaver !! Highly recommend.

Terrible waste of time. My family member made an appointment for a minor eye injury and sat there for 45 minutes past her appointment time before walking out.
Very upset with the front office staff who set up an appointment that clearly wasn't available. I'm really tired of medical professionals triple booking patients and expecting us to sit there as if we have nothing else to do with our day. It is very disrespectful and I'm sorry but optometry doesn't get a 45+ minute grace period. Anything longer than 15-20 minutes is unacceptable.

Dr was great. I didn't buy my glasses there, just wanted a new prescription, so I can't speak to that part of their service.
I was quoted a price over the phone ($90) for an exam. MAKE SURE YOU TELL THEM YOU ONLY WANT THE $90 EXAM! They wanted $212.00 from me. I finally got them down to $129-$39 more than I wanted.
The staff seems clueless.

I have been going to Park Eye Center for the past year or so. In that time I have had 2-3 bad prescriptions. Having to redo them every 2 to 4 months. Each time the prescription was changed without apology. I tried to make another appointment and was told all the doctors will be on vacation for the next 2 weeks and they are not accepting appointments at this time. This is possibly the worst service that I have ever had for any service organization. Run while you have the chance!!! You will be let down.

Super fabulous staff we had one of the best times! Dr. Kim and her team where truly amazing! I have never had so much fun shopping for eye glasses! She was extremely knowledgeable and excellent at explaining everything! I absolutely recommend you go see her! And the shop is seriously amazing and so much creativity!! I can’t wait to pick up my Glasses! We got 2 pairs each that is how amazing the selection is!!

I've gone to CPV for a few years now. Just visited their new location yesterday-- WOWZA! It's pretty and all state of the art equipment. Dr. Jeff is great and he always takes time to talk and communicate-- he's really great!
I've read previous reviews on here on the "horrible" office staff. I've had a few run-ins w/ staff just not knowing what's going on.... but I haven't seen those team members there anymore either. Everyone is always nice and friendly.... Aslyne is the best! She's been there a while....always friendly and she knows her stuff

This was my first appointment at Cedar Park Vision and everything was great. I love the beautiful new office and location! The staff were helpful and friendly and Dr. Kim was awesome! She was very thorough in examining my eyes, listened to my issues and answered all my questions providing the best solutions for my eyes. I am so happy I switched to this practice! I highly recommend them!

The Great: The doctors here are kind and knowledgeable! This place has been my preferred optometrist for years because of their great selection on frames, including ray ban, coach, versace, etc.. They also offer transitions lenses, color contacts, and other nice add-ons. I've used them as my optometrist for 7 years now, and have bought 5 pairs of glasses and probably 4 years of contacts from them.
The O.K.: They will always try to upsell you on protective anti-glare coating, +$120 out of pocket and other things which are nice if you have the money for it, this info is typically communicated

This was the first time in my adult life I've gone to the eye doctor so I was pretty nervous. The nurse who helped me and Dr Wineinger walked me through the whole process (yes, I know this sounds silly to people who have gone before and know it is no big deal but I have an eye phobia so it's a big deal for me!).
If you have a weird eye phobia, like me, I would highly recommend them. Let them know you are super nervous and they will walk you through it all! Piece of cake.
