Both Dr Bougher and Dr Smith are licensed as Therapeutic and Optometric Glaucoma Specialists. This is the highest license available in the state of Texas. Pink eye can be caused by several conditions including bacterial, viral, allergy, dry eye, and many others. It is important that we determine the cause so that we might offer the correct treatment plan.

Pre-covid I would give 4.5 stars, post-covid unfortunately 2 stars. I think the main issue here is lack of admin staff and walk-in hours now. Even, if there were only a small number of hours for limited days per week I think there would be improvement. Dr. Smith does a good job of dialing in a prescription which is why I had gone here for multiple years. Last time though multiple admin mistakes in my prescription that if I hadn't thought looked odd and checked on would have cost me hundreds of dollars in ordering contacts online which would have been worthless to me. Dr. Virginia and Dr. Larry were awesome. They took time to get to know me and learn about my work, hobbies, etc. They followed strict COVID protocols - were thorough and patient throughout my exam to ensure my selections were correct and at the end showed my new correction with my old glasses. Wow! I was 100% confident we selected the best Rx. I'm 55 years old and this was by far my best eye exam experience ever!

I am heartbroken to write this review. Heartbroken. I have been coming and bringing my daughter here for years, but today I was treated like trash. I was yelled at by Dr. Larry Smith for requesting a copy of my daughter's prescription. It was the most humiliated and insulted I have ever felt. I have always gotten her contacts through them with just a phone call, but I have been calling them for weeks and leaving messages and not one of my calls was returned. Today I was nearby so I went to their new office location to request a copy of her prescription, and first I was left outside being ignored

Dr Virginia Bougher, is what makes me want to keep coming here. She takes the time to listen to you and try to understand you and your vision. The staff is friendly and helpful. They go over your insurance with you and let you know what's included. Unfortunately on my last visit a couple of the machines weren't working and I wasn't able to get the full exam. One thing I wish they offered is designer glasses in the store along with quicker turn around on sending the frames out for lenses. I'm pleased with Dr. Bougher and will definitely go back for the service.

If you are looking for a great optometrist look no further....as an added bonus, he's wife and fellow eye doctor is just as awesome.

Had a great exam with Dr. Bougher today. She reviewed in detail my retinal mapping and took time to talk to me about my lifestyle and vision needs. Also, I did not feel pressured into spending more on glasses or frames. The two ladies who helped me with my insurance and glasses were both very nice. Highly recommend them.
