I am a brand new tenant at The Gables of McKinney Apartments. I have been in communication with Debbie Gailley since January 2021 when I first set my moving plan into action and began my apartment search in Texas. She has taken care of all of my inquiries, answered all my emails and phone calls. She is always professional, pleasant, and really helpful! I'm still in the process of moving in and I know Debbie, and the rest of the Gables Staff staff will continue providing awesome service! I'm so glad to finally be here!

Very affordable, the ladies in the office are so sweet and super helpful,(Debbie is my fave.) The apartment appliances are pretty outdated but my fiance and i don't need anything super fancy. The A/C does break down a lot, but the maintenance team is usually very fast. My main concern is the safety. This isn't the best area of McKinney, so this complex experiences a good chunk of the crime that runs through it. There's also always kids walking around from school/the pool and I get nervous seeing them alone. They've been installing gates but they haven't seemed to make much progress on them lately

I lived there for 10 months. I had 2 big rats living in my walls, chewed through the baseboards into my kitchen. Took them 4 months to finally remember to address it. Roach invested is an understatement. I had to throw everything out as they couldn't remember to spray. My apartment flooded twice and it wasn't until I got really nasty about it they fixed it. Right before I moved out, it was leaking water again from the air conditioner. If anyone knows who their corporate office is please let me know. They need to be reported to the health department for the toxic conditions they

The Gables of Mckinney is located in the perfect area of Mckinney, Tx. Living here we have access to Hwy 75, 380, and 121. The community is always well kept, it is actually the most peacful apartment community that I've ever lived in. What makes The Gables the best is definitely the staff: Mrs. Linda, Jenny, Jovita, and Tonya care about the residence and greet you positively when you go into the office or call. The price is right and most residents have lived here for years. Thank you! - 5 stars

Okay place if you keep to yourself. Drug dealing does happen here often though with multiple residents. Inside of my apartment was remodeled and nice for price. Management wasn't the best. One lasy there is always so helpful and sweet but you're lucky to get her if she's there. Pet friendly place though so that's nice. Wish they had more space for animals to do their business and play though.
