Community Yoga
This training will give you the confidence to continue the path of your own yoga journey and help you discover your unique purpose as a teacher. You will learn to create a powerful vinyasa class that will inspire and empower students, as it unfolds with purpose, intelligence and harmony. You can only be NEW once!

We're offering you the outlet to dive in and discover multiple class styles and teachers to better understand and connect to what fits you. Reserving your classes online and being on-time is the best way to guarantee yourself a spot on the floor. CANCELLATION POLICY: Please remove yourself from a class if you can not make it so the spot is available for someone else.
Services
Studio doors will be open 15 minutes prior to the start of class. Students are not required to wear a mask; it is personal preference whether you choose to wear one in the lobby or while practicing yoga. Hand sanitizer will be available upon entry, but we suggest that you also wash your hands. All students will be asked to place a card on file to allow for "no-touch" purchases of class passes, water and merchandise.
To reserve your spot in-studio, simply book in Mindbody as always. For live classes on Zoom, book the virtual class in Mindbody one hour before class starts. Our Vinyasa Flow classes will keep you moving! You'll flow continuously through strong sequences ultimately linking one breath with one movement all the while building strength and endurance as you flow to the edge of your strength, balance and flexibility.
We understand that starting something new takes courage and beginning yoga might be a big step out of your comfort zone. We are here for you! Through hands-on assists, clear communication, essential listening, and classes designed for a new student, we will provide a blissful beginner yoga experience created just for you!
SHIFT HAPPENS will help you create space in your life and body for movement, meditation, self-development, healthful living, and create new, meaningful rituals. The possibilities that a 30-day yoga experience will bring partnered with mindfulness and going inward are endless. You will notice shifts in your sleeping habits, stress level, and connection with yourself and others.

I just moved from Ohio and this yoga studio immediately felt like home to me. Its was just the kind of studio I was hoping for. A space where one can explore movement to learn about the body, mind, and spirit. Thank you community yoga for being my first community in Charleston.

Community Yoga is truly a community. All instructors are welcoming and many have become friends of mine. Community is one of my favorite places on earth and is definitely my favorite yoga studio. I am a regular student about five times a week. I tend to stick to the heated power classes in the evenings. They’re an amazing full body and mental workout. They have tons of variety from Yin to Vinyasa to special Friday features and workshops. Their price packages are also the best around, I just purchase the yearly unlimited so I never have to think about it and can go almost any time/as much as I

Community yoga is the best yoga studio around. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Great space with the best instructors. Studio is easy to access with plenty of parking in front of the studio or around the studio. They have a variety of classes and times. The class package prices are reasonable priced. I love that I can come move, breathe, sweat, stretch, and not be judged.

I love Community Yoga! I have been to a lot of studios over the years and CY is always where I come back to. Every teacher is welcoming and never makes me feel pressure to try positions or embarrassed by my ability level. Every class is different and I always leave feeling better then when I arrived.

Recently just moved to Charleston. Since the pandemic I have been practicing at home with my yoga studio back in Greenville SC. However, I needed to go back in the studio. I heard a lot of positive reviews about community yoga, so I checked it out. Well, it’s been 3 weeks and I’m hooked! I highly recommend this yoga studio!! Love the teachers, awesome new flows each week and great location!! Go check them out, you won’t regret it!

Charleston Community Yoga is a welcoming studio for students of all levels. I love that i can choose a Level 1 Vinyasa Flow or a Level 2 and Beyond Hot Power Flow depending on what I need for that particular day. The teachers are all extremely well qualified, professional and friendly. CCY is my sacred space to breathe and focus on my practice.

Community Yoga is appropriately nestled in the artsy, eclectic, and warm shops of Avondale. I have taken several classes at this studio, and enjoyed each one. The teachers are knowledgable and make every student feel comfortable in the space. There is ample room for changing, and props, hand towels, and cool wash cloths are provided. The rates are very competitive, and they offer several options for new students to maximize their time trying out the space at reduced cost.

I've had such an excellent experience at CCY so far. I've been attending about a month. I've taken classes with Caroline and with Stacy, and really like their styles. The studio is small, clean, and cute, and stocked with so many props to use. They have mats in case you don't have your own. I leave each class feeling like I did something good for myself. Additionally, I feel like these are some of the most affordable yoga classes I've seen in Charleston.
