Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered with gentle hand placements at specific chakra points to transfer healing energy through the practitioner to the client. In a full Reiki session the recipient lays in a quiet, comfortable position while the Reiki practitioner channels healing energy through specific hand positions and sacred symbols.

This place is fantastic! I first had a Swedish massage with Sarah V, who was attentive and made the entire experience very relaxing. I then scheduled a deep tissue massage for the next week, to work on my shoulders. Ashley did an amazing job, adjusting pressure with my feedback. It felt like magic! And it didn't even hurt like I'm accustomed to with deep tissue massages, even though it felt like she was going fairly deep.
I also love the aesthetic of the place--there's a little room you can hang out before and after, with sofas, mimosas, and nut and peanut m&m dispensers. And crystals, everywhere

My husband and I came down to Charleston to celebrate our honeymoon. During our vacation, we had a couple’s massage at The Salt Spa- it was absolutely wonderful! The environment was calming and inviting, and everyone was incredibly kind and professional. Upon walking out, my husband and I both declared that it was the best massage either of us had ever received. Would definitely return!

I have been all over the world and have gotten like 100 or more massages over the years and the couples massage we got here is definitely top 3! It was amazing and perfect! They offered us free mimosas in the relaxing waiting area. The overall vibe was exactly what you need. We booked online with Kayleigh H.
You do have to find parking on the street though, which isn't bad. Just no dedicated parking so don't expect that. It is also a yoga studio so it was a little loud outside but you can't hear them inside. And the couples massage room uses heated beds (I think), and so I started to sweat a little

I had such a lovely massage from Laura today! I was slightly apprehensive about getting a massage in the time of Covid, but she put me completely at ease. She also got into muscles that I didn’t even realize were tight and just helped me to relax deeper than I have in a long time. The spa itself is so soothing, with the gorgeous glow of salt lamps everywhere. I had spoken with the owner, Ashley, on the phone when I needed to reschedule and again when I checked in today, and she was so kind and accommodating. Overall, my experience here was absolutely wonderful, and I can’t wait to come back

My friend and I did the couples massage on yesterday. The atmosphere is very relaxing as soon as you walk through the door. The couples massage room was nice, intimate, and dark. The massage itself was very good. Next time we come we will do the 90 min massage. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and we will visit again.

Booked a couple's massage for our anniversary while we were on vacation. It was absolutely amazing for both of us! We may just add this to our yearly vacation schedule! If we lived closer we would be back way more than once a year! You will not be disappointed! I can see where parking could get tricky, but that's just Charleston for you. lol

My husband and I had our first massages today and this place was the perfect setting for it. The location was easy to find, parking was nearby, and the spa inside was immediately soothing when we walked in. We did the sauna first and then rinsed off for our massages. (Definitely add it to your service!) we then changed into our robes and met our massage therapists. They were friendly, informative and the service was absolutely perfect. Rachel and Sydney took spectacular care of us both, focused our massages exactly where they were needed, walked us through the processes before and after and checked
