This was our second event at Desi. We threw our wedding after party ( cocktail party for ~50 guests) at Desi and it was absolutely lit. The fusion food and cocktails were excellent, all the guests loved it, everyone was talking about the verde cutlet and the desserts. The manager helped us through our party planning process. We actually needed to reschedule the event date due to some emergency circumstances, and the owners/ managers were very understanding. We also felt that the rates were reasonable. The ambience was perfect for our event. I would surely recommend desi for any event if the guest

I came here for the first time to try more contemporary Indian food. There was a good selection of foods that were presented very nicely. We sat at the bar so not sure how table service is. The food was good, the bar staff were nice and the whole place very clean, even the restrooms were particularly well kept.
I like to see that we have now some choice for Indian food as that's been lacking in the area. I did like the contemporary twist on items but would have also like some regular fair as well.
They had some good drinks too and bar seem to be quite well stocked.

Highly hyped place. Not so good food!
Samosa chat was okay but Delhi cold coffee was just regular coffee kept in fridge, pani puri was visually appealing but average taste and chai was colder than lukewarm, EXTREMELY PRICEY for such average food.. must say NOT SO DESI.

I would give a 4 star for food but service is really slow. Our first snack plate came 45 mins after ordering. For a fine dine grade, I would expect a better service. The waiter for our table was overloaded (I guess) and she didn't bother to drop by to ask if we needed anything. Lacked attention to detail and table was never cleaned up to make room for more food
We tried Tashan plate with panner bhurji tarts, gujia empanada and Verde cutlets. Cutlets were really good and so did empanadas. Kids Nanza was also yummy with Tikka sauce (stole a bite from my kid 😋). Rice platter with panner Tikka

Good place to catch dinner with quite a few interesting choices to pick from. Ordered the pani puri, pav bhaji cornetti, pindi chole tacos, samosa sliders and the dal makhani w/ sourdough naan.
Location - The location is good with decent parking. The ambience & seating is decent and better than some of the other Indian restaurants I’ve been to in the Bay Area. The place has a family friendly vibe. They have patio seating as well.
Food - Overall positive. However, some items could have been better. The pani puri had the usual green and imli paani plus a pineapple paani, which gave it a good

Incredible place! I went here with my partner and we loved the incredible care that the staff put into making our experience better and it felt like we had almost TOO MUCH food which was great and I loved the chalupa tacos with the great naan and fillings and the milkshake was great. The mango dessert at the end was quite unique with the vermicelli and fish eggs as well. I also had the seasonal sea bass which was pretty unique with the coconut curry and overall I was so full at the end.

I just received a free sample lunch from a very nice young man and he showed me the menu and explained in great detail about the restaurant. I brought the lunch in and just opened it and it was awesome 👍👍👍👍👍 my wife and will definitely be coming to the restaurants location so that we can try some of the other meals they have to offer. Thanks to the driver who provided my lunch for the day and being so kind and generous have a great day.

This is one of my favorite eat outs . I like how it has varieties of food. They have lot of options for vegetarians as well as non vegetarian that are unique in taste . I think all the dishes that we tasted were very tasty with nice twist. Make your own bowl( blackened chicken ) and ice coffee is my favorite. I would definitely recommend this place.
