I moved here in August. I toured many different apartments in the area and I was hopeless until I found G12. I fell in love immediately with the apartment, the facilities and the neighbourhood. LA can be sketchy but G12 is located in a relatively safer neighbourhood. I am giving 5 stars for the whole experience as well as for my move in experience. I moved in in 2 days and all that was possible thanks to Paula! She was very helpful.
Overall I love the people at G12 and if I would DEFINITELY recommend to a friend!

Not a great place to live. Decent amenities. Owners not cleaning up their dog feces. For some reason a lot of my visiting guests are denied access which is frustrating. I've had to repeatedly pay for non working fobs given by the building. I've heard from neighbors the manager Jaime is intentionally doing this as she has a huge ego!

I want to give a five star based on my move in experience.
My move in day was surprisingly great. The time I got the key, the unit was well cleaned and it met my expectation. I did find a couple of small things that need fix but the leasing manager were able to fix them in just a couple of hours. By the time I move in at night most things already got fixed, really appreciate that.
The night I move in, The gentleman at front desk and security staff were very welcoming and friendly. They provided parking, loading dock and dolly, that made my moving a lot easier. After I moved in the maintenance

As a current & recent moved in resident, reviewing my experiences so far, the staff at G12 are very professional and actively helped with the move. In particular, the property manager, Jamie, always greeted me warmly with bright and positive energy, and was very quick and active in getting things done.
The staff, Paula, was also very friendly, especially Enrique, who actively helped and solved problems late in the evening if there were any problems.
G12 neighbors are very chilled and quiet. I looked over around 10 apartments in DTLA and I am satisfied with my choice now.

My husband and I have been living at G12 for 9 months now. We live in a top (7th floor) studio with a balcony facing Grand Ave and absolutely love it. Our apartment is spacious, has a ton of natural light, and the view from our large windows/balcony is incredible (photos included). Also the windows, although large, do a great job of blocking out the sounds of the city. I love that the balcony is private and, although there are plenty of other balconies in neighboring G12 apartments around me, I cannot see them because of the way the building is designed.

Very poor touring experience. They gave me keys to go see a unit I was interested in as the leasing agent was too busy to give me a proper tour to find out that someone else was already living there. It was extremely uncomfortable to walk into someone’s apartment to find out that I was the third person that day to walk into her unit. After that, I went to find the leasing agent and told them how awkward and embarrassing it was that they had lead me into that situation. This is a great place to call "home". The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to my needs and are quick to attend to any problems that arise. The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day by friendly courteous workers. G12 could not be better located as it is amidst a lot of shopping, night life, restaurants, transportation and schools (USC and FIDM).

I LOVE living at G12. My roommate and I dreamed of living here. We separately always wanted to live here and when the opportunity came we definitely took it! The process was so smooth especially with Ashley's help. She was so kind and sweet. She helped with all the paperwork and forms. She was on top of everything and made moving in a breeze. Everyone at the building are very courteous and patient. The building is very quiet and secure. They definitely try their best to keep everything as clean and safe especially during this COVID times.

Oven lived at G12 now for 3 months and I must say out of the 5 apartments I've live in LA over the last 5 years this is by far my favorite. The leasing staff is amazing Especially Ashlee who helped me super nice and down to earth. Never have I ever had such a positive experience moving into a new place. Super Clean, quite and smells good all the time. I definitely recommend to anyone.

This is on one of the worst places in downtown LA. Jamie needs to leave her position. She has caused a great deal of headaches to many residents. She tows your vehicle (from your own paid spot) without warning, she will repeatedly make you pay $50 for replacing a fob that was already bad to begin with given my management, she will deny access to your guests who are on the guest list!!! Every person i've spoken to who has dealt with her say she is extremely rude! Dont move here as long as she is manager!

I moved from NYC and have been living in G12 over a year now. I spoke with Ashlee on the phone while living in Manhattan and pretty much moved to LA without ever visiting the city or the building. Ashlee and all of the staff made the transition really smooth. I really couldn't have picked a better place to live! I've felt really safe and comfortable while being away from NYC during this time and while working from home. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE G12!!! We moved here in July 2019. Ashlee was our leasing consultant and she was absolutely amazing. My experience has been beyond awesome since. Almost a full year after moving in, she still regularly checks on us, the staff is super friendly and management is always professional and accommodating. The building is gorgeous and always clean. Maintenance is quick and has fixed any minor issues that we have had. It's time to renew our lease, and I am so excited to renew. Hands down one of the best places that I have ever lived.

My wife and I were one of the first tenants to move into the building and we were there two years. When we first got there the staff was really great and very service oriented. By the time we left in early 2020, the entire staff had turned over and we were dealing with new people. They were nowhere near as kind and helpful as the original staff.

My car was broken into last night in our "secure parking garage". 2 of my windows smashed.. Expensive valuables stolen, that I had hidden under clothes. As well as even a personal book of memories my grandma made for me for my last Birthday.. Which is insane because I had expenisve shoes they didn't take, yet they took the book and even an old hard drive of other memories?! This seems personal.. but no one knows I live here and even if they did, would certainly have no idea of my car/ parking spot. And I've never been followed in. (I'm an overly observant person..)

I stayed at the G12 on a 7 month lease. I love the amenities of the property which is why I'm giving it a 2 star. After moving out and speaking to a rep from the property about a mix up in the dates made by one of their previous employees Arron Savage. I thought everything was squared off as I spoke to Andy before leaving and explaining I'm going back home. He said it was okay and I DID NOT NEED TO WORRY ABOUT DECEMBER AS I HAD COMPLAINED FOR 7 MONTHS ABOUT LIVING LITERALLY IN THE MIDST OF FILTH.
