We were nervous about being so far from campus in the beginning, but Collingwood was everything we needed and we are really sad to be moving out in just a few weeks! It is always quiet from residents, the only noise you will hear is from the train and from the weird factory building next to the complex.

If i could go back in time and not live here i would. I dispise it here so much. The laundry here is terrible, says 24/7 access to starbucks coffee which is not true, it is out half of the time. This buliding is so old, and u can get a newer one for the same price. Microwave hasnt been fixed in months, although this week they are planning to do it. I call them and they are good at manipulating amd lying saying oh you didn't write an order so we can't say you told us, when i called in several times but they do NOTHING. Over here you need to write a written complain about an issue in order for it

The apartment themselves were in a nice location aside from the factory next door. The maintnence staff was always nice but absolutely clueless and most of the time did not fix what they came to fix. Our ceiling leaked from the unit above ours and instead of drying out the drywall or replacing it which is the proper way to do it, a maintnence worker came and just painted over the wet spots which resulted in mold and a two toned ceiling. One maintnence worker also came to fix our stove and used one of our pans to test it and ended up leaving it on the stove and burning the bottom of a brand new

The apartment complex itself is okay, although the location is next to a factory which smells awful several times a week, but the office themselves are kind of insufferable to contend with. They do not care about problems their residents are having, nor are they concerned about what happens as a result of non functional appliances in their apartments (and the damage caused by these), and they were always rude to myself and my roommates when we called with problems (although the maintenance guys are great).

I have lived in this community for the past year, and have had a very good experience the entire time. Rent is very fair and affordable especially for the area, maintenance is regular and the premesis is always clean. Also allows cats, which is perfect. Would renew my lease if I weren't graduating this year.

I lived here for 2 years. Everything is good, except one thing: the leasing office like visiting ur apartment.
I received bunch of notices in two months, saying they need to conduct this or that kind of inspection.
I know they have rights to enter into the apartment, but it is a little annoying. Sometimes I feel like I am not living alone, I live with the leasing office.

Definitely enjoyed my experience here. Was one of the more quiet neighborhoods so that was a plus. Not far from Campus at all. The staff was extremely nice and understanding especially when i had payment problems. They events were great too, there was always parties with free food and drinks. i enjoyed Collingwood but their Capital Villa apartments were even better. Always volleyball games with hot girls lol.
