We lived at Aventura for 2 years - just moved out last month. We never really had any issues. The apartments are nice, I agree with some other postings that corners were cut to save money, but no big deal really. It's a quiet and family oriented neighborhood. It's close to stores, the highway, and restaurants. During the winter snow is removed promptly. if you have maintenance needs, they are addressed quickly. We don't have any pets so that wasn't an issue. Packages get left at the office which is convenient. There are community events and pools parties, etc. Amy is a sweetheart

I am writing this with the hopes that I can help people understand what they are getting themselves into if they are considering moving into this apartment complex.
The good parts: The units are really beautiful, albeit the construction company cut corners (as they all do). They are modern and lovely to look at. Also, the location is amazing (if you don't mind staring at the interstate traffic). The part-time manager, Amy, is absolutely lovely, and the maintenance man, Dale, is a wonderful person as well. They are both very helpful and considerate! These are the definite "pros
