Pros: Currently has the best (female) concierge ever and conveniently located. Cons: Just a big super Dirty overpriced malfunctioning (heat and elevators don’t work sometimes),project-like’ dorm where there is an effort to selectively ‘manage’ certain residents and allow violations from others. Don’t expect sleep ever sometimes because of street noise, but mainly b/c of the other residents/parties/music, and oh yeah, this dorm has no RAs.

I've lived here for almost 4 months now and am really enjoying it. The units and property is beautiful, the tenants are friendly and the location is ideal. I had a few issues on my move-in day but Maritza and Luz worked hard to fix them and even gave me a terrific welcome basket and flowers worth well over $250. Since living here I LOVE my unit, the only major complaint is the noise from the clubs across the street. I can hear it almost daily until late at night and sometimes have to use earplugs to sleep. It may not be as bad on higher floors as I'm on the 7th and am facing Georgia Ave.

Sept 2021 Update - We did finally receive our security deposit refund check in the mail.

I would not recommend this apartment complex. We signed a 15-month lease at Solaire 8250 and our lease ended April 16, 2021. Our move out inspection went smoothly and we received no indication that there were any issues with the apartment upon moving out. We have been trying since that time to receive our security deposit back. I have called and emailed the leasing office multiple times, and was told that our security deposit check was being processed and would be put in the mail shortly but it was

Everything seems great at Solaire 8250 except for one major problem.
I’ll start with the pros:
It’s a beautiful building. Interesting art in the lobby, friendly concierge. The shared amenities are impeccable. Gorgeous rooftop pool. The apartments themselves are beautifully designed and inviting. They have more personality than many other similar high rises in the area.
I have been working with Luz who has been amazing. She genuinely cares about her prospective tenants. She has gone the extra mile to provide me options, kept me in the loop about specials, and has been very open and honest

I really don’t like writing a bad review but.... I was not happy with my experience living here. I lived here for a year. I can honestly say the only best things I can say are Michael for the leasing office is very professional and caring. Max and Janet are the best concierges. Max always goes above and beyond and the last was the view from the top floor.

My husband and I moved to the DMV area about 4 months ago and glad that we were able to move into Solaire 8250. The building is beautiful and I really like the design of our apartment (1 bedroom) and the complex. The gym and common areas are A+. We lucked out getting a large balcony on the lower level so that’s a plus. There’s bike storage (which is super convenient) and a pet spa in case you need to bathe your pet. The staff are also lovely. S/O to Max and Janet. I like how packages are handled - concierge receives them and you get an automatic message from Solaire 8250. Would recommend anyone
