Jumbo succulent shrimp, spicy andouille sausage, red bliss potatoes, corn on the cob and sweet vidalia onions are layered, seasoned (with our own special blend) to perfection and expertly cooked together. Served with our homemade cocktail sauce, the Cape Fear Boil Company has been dubbed the "Carolina's Best Pot".
Our STEAM POTS TO-GO provide you with the opportunity to experience our acclaimed Coastal Low-Country Boil without our full service catering. Just add water or beer, place your steam pot on the stove or cooktop, follow our instructions and in under 30 minutes you can be enjoying your very own boil right at home!
We show up an hour before the requested dining time, set-up all the equipment and start cooking! Sit back, relax and enjoy your favorite beverage while we cook and entertain you and your guests. When cooking is complete, we drop all the yummy goodness onto a table (yours or ours) fully equipped with table cloth, plates, forks, knives, and all the other essential utensils and fix-ins for a traditional Carolina low-country boil.
I have used CFBC in the past for company events and this time for a rehearsal dinner at my home for our son's wedding. Very professional staff as well as great food. We have over 25 hand-selected beers that pair wonderfully with our boils. Order speciality beer to cook your to-go pot, for your catered boil, grab a bottle while you wait or take home a custom six-pack. We also stock Coca-Cola products and soft drinks. We now offer our own 'boil beer' with a variety of European hops for a bright and zesty aroma.

We had an excellent experience with Cape Fear Boil Company. Customer service was great - ordering was easy, and the food was high quality. We followed the instructions they provided & found we had to make slight deviations. Overall the take out experience was easy and I would definitely order it again.

So for our last day in Kure Beach we got a Steam Pot-to-Go from @capefearboilco and man are we glad we did. They give you your pot with everything pre-prepared, you take it back to your place, follow the dead-simple instructions and 30 minutes later you're feasting. We went with a Jai Alai IPA as our liquid, instead of water, and it really was perfect. I'd love to see someone do this at home in the Camel City.
BTW, the stove in the condo we're staying in this week is '70s vintage - the burners will disconnect if you breathe on them too hard - and we still had no problems cooking this up. Highly

Absolutely delicious seafood! My husband and I got the Masonboro Pot with shrimp, clams, mussels, crab, andouille sausage, corn, potatoes and Vidalia onions. We added 4 cornbread muffinns.We brought it back to the rental, cooked it up in about 30 minutrs and voika!What a great exmuffins. As you can see, we could have fed 4 people!

Great place to get a low country boil! Since we only had 5 people we got the steam pot to-go. Plenty of food for everyone. All the items were of good quality and seasoned nicely. Instructions were clear on how to prepare so even non-professionals can handle it. If you have a large group, the catering option would be definitely be easier than trying to make reservations for 10 or 12 at a restaurant. If you are in the area give it a try. You won't be disappointed!!

Honestly it’s just basic store bough seafood that’s thrown in a pot and charged triple it’s price.
Total experience I’ll give it 3/5. The food we got was WAY too spicy, and we actually enjoy spice however our child does not. Convenience is the key here. But if you want to actually have a real FRESH seafood experience- go to a local restaurant this isn’t truly worth it.

We had Cape Fear Boil Company cater our wedding and our expectations were blown out of the water! Not only was the food amazing but the staff was so personable! They took time to explain the process and what… was all included with the boil. They answered questions anyone had and went above and beyond to make us happy. Our guests got to experience the boil on-site and watch it all get dumped out on the table for service! We wanted a laid back recdption with great food, and they delivered exactly that! Awesome experience! We’ll worth the catering fee to have them come out and cook (and clean up!) Best meal we’ve had on the island! Marshall was great, he was telling us about the process while he cooked and provided tips on how to eat the shrimp/crab for the kids. We ordered 10 adult servings and added 4 lbs of crab legs + 2 qts of pulled chicken. More than enough for all of us (10 adults and 9 kids). My son had 7 plates and we still had leftovers. This will be a vacation staple every year moving forward!

This place was worth my trip to the east coast! They packed it perfectly and awesome meaty seafood! They have everything you need to the picnic table cloth, crab crackers, and the beer to steam the goodness in! Directions were easy to follow and the guys who work there were awesome and knowledgeable they truly helped me make a perfect crab boil!

Nothing like a low country boil with a variety of seafood plus corn, potatoes and sausage to satisfy the cravings of a large group of hungry beach goers easily and deliciously! Tried Cape Fear Boil Co for the first time and it was fantastic! We ordered the Ben Franklin boil for 10 people and it was more than enough to feed our group of 5 adults, 2 teenagers and 5 kids! Definitely a real crowd pleaser with a bit of something for everyone!

This was a unique interactive way to have dinner! You choose what kind of cajun/seafood POT you want, add any extras you would like, take it to go, follow the cooking instructions and then have a boil feast!
My husband and I got the CRAB POT and added scallops. It was delicious! The only thing I would change is the serving size of the CRAB. I think it should be a whole CRAB per person. Other than that a fun, unique dinner. Great while you're on vacation!

Really fun, delicious seafood experience. We were camping at the state park nearby and wanted something different, that we could also enjoy at the campsite. Its pricey but they really do equip you with everything you need and our Ben Franklin pot was enough to stuff 3 people full. For you campers, these pots do excellent on a typical Coleman propane camp stove. Just follow the instructions and you're good to go. Would 100% do it again next time!

Fantastic!! We were out of ideas for dinner tonight and stumbled upon the cape fear boil company. Honestly we were a little skeptical as we had bad experiences with other competitors in the past, but this was completely different.
The boil was easy, the shrimp was fresh, and it all tasted delicious.

Cape Fear Boil Company helped my husband and I celebrate our small but absolutely perfect wedding day!! Most of our communication was done via email. The response time was quick and all questions were answered. Due to Covid, there were many changes sometimes multiple in the same day but Ty was always fast to respond and open to any and all changes. On the day of our wedding, the food was cooked and presented in a most timely manner. Knowledge was spread, food was eaten and then clean up was taken care of!! These guys catered my sisters wedding on oak island and it was amazing !!!! Everything was so delicious and exactly what we expected and more.
