Gulfstream Restaurant was "born and raised" as a local, family tradition by Spiro and Joanne Simotas who nurtured it into a classic spot highly regarded for its food, affordability and friendly atmosphere. Now in its 42nd year, Gulfstream is still locally owned and operated by Kure Beach resident Ed Thomas, along with his business partner Rich Johnson and their team of managers and support staff.
The original Gulfstream Restaurant opened in Carolina Beach in 1978. Though the restaurant has undergone a series of updates in recent years, the great food, and family atmosphere hasn't changed. The newest Gulfstream Restaurant opened in Wrightsville Beach in 2019. Built on the site of the former Causeway Cafe next to Redix, the restaurant is fresh, modern, and serves up the delicious food you expect at Gulfstream. Stop by for breakfast, lunch or dinner and you're sure to experience why Gulfstream CB has been beloved for decades and how thrilled we are to now be serving the community of WB.
