I had a great experience staying at steelworks the past 2 years and highly recommend it. Maintenance requests are quick and the building is kept in good order. Only issue I had was with the garage gates not opening every once in a while but other than that I had no complaints.

If you're reading this review... you have found the PERFECT community. Iesha - the AD of the Steelworks- is a Godsend. She has helped us so much. She's an incredible asset to this community. Iesha handles every issue with grace and ease. Words will never express how grateful we are for her. This community is amazing. Its quiet. Its clean. The only maintenance issue I've had in a year, is I clogged my disposal. It was fixed within 2 (working) hours of me making a request. As long as I'm in Georgia, Steelworks will be home.

I have endured 10 months or pure agony from listening to the loud foot steeps that echo over my entire apartment that sounds like a herd of elephants. Needless to say in two months I will vacate due to this very reason. The area is nice but these apartments have very thin walls and this heavy foot tenant does not help

I have lived at Steelworks for four years. The property is in a great location with easy access to Westside and Atlantic Station. The management staff has always been very responsive. In particular, Iesha has gone out of her way to help me with any of my concerns and has made the community a more enjoyable place to live. Recommend living here if you are moving to Atlanta and looking for an apartment!

Overall, a nice place to live. Was there for about a year. Monthly events and the gym were nice. Everyone who worked at the office was really nice and tried to be helpful. Moving in, the apartment was very clean. Good kitchen appliances and washer/dryer.
I did have issues with the lockers for mail in Dec-Jan. Sometimes Amazon puts more than one tenant's address in a locker and office doesn't have key to check them. Eventually everything was fixed after about 1-2 months. Also had my apartment window leak during the tornado warning in May 2021 - but maintenance requests are quick.

The hospitality I’ve been receiving from Iesha since moving here, has been nothing but exceptional. From the location to the spacious living. It has fully exceeded my standards. Not only is the apartment spacious, but it also comes with great amenities. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone.

I love it here. I am close to everything in the city and my job. This place is the perfect spot to live in a Midtown but still have a quiet neighborhood feel. Okay, sometimes you may hear the firetrucks, lol. It all depends on where your apartment location. Steelworks always hosts community gatherings every month, which is nice to look forward to, especially if you are new to the city. If any problems arrived, Iesha and the staff would get them solved quickly. Gate car garage on each level which is a plus! And for all dog lovers, this apartment is pet-friendly.

After a great tour with Jonathan from the steelworks property I have decided to make this place one of my top options to live. The appliances for the apartment were very new, the space each room has is exactly what me and my wife were looking for and the customer service was excellent. I also was very fond of the amenities as well, my wife loves the yoga room. Thank you steelworks!

I kind of missed living here ad it was convenient inside the buildings, with elevators and covered parking which kept your car cool and nice.
Dustin was awesome.
Community parties were nice to have!
The management always keeps the apartment clean daily.
The only things that was annoying and disappointing was that my AC kept breaking down during the summer, one of the maintenance guys kept having an attitude with me,I thought it was rude.
And the laundry machine and dryer were very weak and low quality.
And it's a smoke free community

My friend lives there and she is fantastic just like how nice the place is. I love how secure the place is and area is awesome. There is a pool and a gym in the building. They have different type of apartments, which is nice depending on the future residents need. There are parking on each level. There is locker for amazon and other delivery services. Overall, a very nice place.

We picked here when we first moved to Atlanta. We were actually the first to live in our apartment. Started out good, but went downhill fast. The staff and management is lazy. They don't fix problems and they don't keep to their rules.

I live on the 5th floor and the walls need to be painted desperately. Also when we put in an order for repair they are not completed in a timely manner. Property was stolen from lockers and they said we need to call police to claim. Management hasl laissez-faire attitude. How can we possible know exactly what was stolen. Extremely dangerous garage. Accidents almost happen every day. When accident occurs police say that it private property take it up with the building and nothing is done. Building constantly smells like a pot plantation. Enough said ??

The responses from the leasing office on here are a weak attempt to clean up the bad reviews. I spoke to three different people in the leasing office, and each informed me that I had to pay $2,500 for breaking a lease after I was told I didn't have to notify them of me leaving because I did not to renew my lease. To add insult to injury, I just received a final bill and they added another month's rent. Now I owe a whopping $5,000. Crooks. Future renters beware.

The apartment quality is decent and they offer competitive prices for living in midtown. However, over the course of a year, we have had multiple incidents of minor theft. Our keys were stolen from the front door while unloading groceries within a matter of minutes. We had to have all locks changed not to mention the person came back to break into our car in the parking garage. I'm assuming the person who stole the keys lives in the complex since throughout the year the car was repeatedly rummaged through for valuables but thankfully never driven away. I moved in a week ago due to my previous apartment being robbed. This was the only property I viewed that I felt safe and at home. Thank you Jessica for you superior customer service and putting me at ease. I absolutely love living here and would recommend it to a friend. Modern, clean and homely.

This is a nice community to live in for several reasons.

To start, one of the office guys, Jodan, is awesome. He met me in December when I came to visit, then remembered my name a month later when I visited again. I only saw him for about one minute. His friendly demeanor made it seem like he knew me for years. Once, he ran to tell me that my garbage was not properly placed for complimentary collection, going out of his way to save me a fine.

Also, I enjoy walking my dog around the area. He has many friends with whom to play, as this is very much a pet friendly community.

New staff brought in to manage and they are absolutely amazing. Definitely going to turn this place around! Very professional and know what what to do in order to have steelworks operating back on track. Beautiful property and apartments are awesome. Great location in Atlantic station too!

PROS: I love the location, the diversity of the tenants, my view of the city, my spacious unit, the various property events and the staff...especially Julian! All residents are connected threw an email portal for all events and announcements which allows everyone to stay informed.

CONS: There's very limited guest parking.

Julian, the "assistant leasing manager" has hands down won the award of the WORST human interaction I have ever had in my entire life! He was rude, snotty, immediately had attitude and by the end of our conversation had referred to my boyfriend with racial slurs! I have never been more disgusted in my entire life! I will NEVER live here again nor will I recommend anyone else!!! He is a disgusting individual and I WILL be taking this issue to the highest level of management!

The short version of my review is: this building is very new and simply NOT READY. It is not ready when it comes to management, communication and also construction.

Also, just for the information of those who are considering this place and others, Matrix Residential (part of Pollack Shores) is managing a bunch of apartments and this one is famous for renting up quickly by the holder company, so it is expected that all share same style of communication and management. Pollack Shores on the other hand seems to be VERY busy with the new developments and I would say has dropped the ball on serving

I have lived here for over a year and a half and have reported the constant yelping of a dog below this apartment (noise comes from locked HVAC door and conduit between floors). I raised the issue initially in October 2015 and a half-dozen times since but currently, November 2016, the situation persists.

I am going to provide the positive and the negative things I have experienced at Steelworks.

Positives - 1) I truly loved my floor plan and the price I paid for it. The studio apartment is perfect for a single person living in the city. 2) The Atlantic Station shuttle was helpful. It will take you to the Marta station. 3) Plenty of community events in the evenings. Pizza night, taco bar, pool parties, etc. 4) Community forum. If you do move in, I highly suggest joining the forum to hear what other residents have to say. Whether it is pet sitting services, events, or issues around the community

I'm satisfied after being a resident for 2 weeks. Yes, sometimes, I hear my neighbor above me walking, but it's expected living in an apartment. I hardly ever hear or see anyone. Majority of what I hear comes from facing the city. It's very convenient to lounges, bars, restaurants, markets, stores and much more. I never have any issues with parking. The halls look fine to me. Cleaners come Monday, Wednesday and Friday during the day. The building honestly is clean and smells fresh, so I'm not sure what others are experiencing. My apartment and view is beautiful. Hands down this

I lived here for 1 year, and had constant issues. The building is poorly built; I had cracks running the full length of some of my walls where drywall was not properly taped and mudded. The cabinets and drawers are cheep particle board covered with plastic and often closed off-center. Hallways were often noisy and smokey. My ceiling fan was some how connected to all of my living room outlets so when it was turned on all of my electronics freaked out and in one instance sparked a bit. College students live here and use the facilities like a dorm, seemingly living in the common spaces and packing

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! My mom and I moved here from Chicago. A big change! The staff have made me and my mom feel comfortable especially Sherry. I love the location because being a teen I like to go out and shop and go to the movies and with Atlantic Station being near I get to do those things. Also I feel safe in this building because it is very secure. I love how they have a lot of events here so the residents can interact with others and have fun. Today they had a breakfast Brunch and it was very awesome. The food and chef was awesome as well. If you looking for a place to live with friendly staff

I've lived in midtown for a little over 3 years and just moved to Steelworks in May. Coming from a Post property and being less than satisfied my expectations were high with this new development. However, Steelworks has far exceeded them!! The community is gorgeous and matches their awesome staff! The grounds are always well maintained, 24hr security that walk the property at night which makes me feel very safe while walking my dog. The valet trash service is wonderful along with the constant events the complex is hosting! I mean who doesn't love free brunch and mimosas on Saturday morning
