Do NOT live here. Update after living here for about 4 years...this is a long review but worth it, photo evidence included. I've been here longer than the current staff and manager and they are the worst. They have no idea what they are doing, they will give you incorrect information and shrug it off, they are very behind on their utility billing (I just moved out and they charged me a little bit over 300 in utilities since October..its January...???? See attached photos). They will tell you one thing over the phone and something different in writing. Recently i broke my lease due to how much

Iam a current resident in this building and I will not recommend it to those looking for a new home. It smells terrible. All the units carpets stink. It used to be well maintained but not anymore. We have spoken up over and over but it is getting worse. Don’t be foiled by the look. I’m looking for a new place myself.

Lived at A118 for just over 2.5 years.
The apartment itself was fairly sound proof except from the garage when car alarms when off. You could hear faint footsteps from the people living above and had to get security to remind them of the quite hours policy three times in 2.5+ years. The quality of materials in the apartment are poor; we were the first people to live in the unit and the floor board was already buckling, the bathroom after a year started making a popping sound after we were out of the shower, there was a leak from the unit upstairs, that was addressed but not fixed for a month

The whole leasing team was wonderful! Jake helped me get moved in less than a week when my apartment flooded, 100/10 stars! The amenities so far have been wonderful and the best thing is how friendly everyone is! I love how diverse the community is- it makes me feel like I’m home. A lively POC community, easy access to other neighborhoods, and amenities galore made Assembly an easy choice! Thanks for the smooth transition!

I appreciate the time and attention when the problem was actually addressed. I don't appreciate the number of times this issue arose and I notified maintenance before it was properly addressed. This issue had a regular, dramatic impact on my day to day life for more than one month. I would have been happier living out of my car and saving the money.

The mangment and services are outstanding and the building isn't too shabby itself. I've lived here already for almost 6 months and I haven't had a single issue unresolved. I've been able to go straight to the office and address issue right then and there. As for the building, it's been a treat having a roof top so spacious that it has everything you or your dog needs! It's been a relaxing experience.

I’ve live at Assembly118 for the past 2 years and the first year and a half was a great experience. The previous manager, Jordan, was always very helpful and available to answer any questions. In the last year the manager changed (her name is Laina) because Jordan was promoted to a different position. It is hard not to notice the turnover rate of the staff. There isn’t a single person that still works in the office that was there when I first moved in which goes to show why most of the staff always respond with “I’ll have to get back to you on that, I’m not sure,” for simple questions

I lived here for 13 months and just moved out. The place has a lot to offer, as well as some significant problems. I've almost always had great communication with Jordan and Nakeyah, the current on site managers. When I had to extend my end date by five days they handled it extremely graciously, pro-rating my rent at my current rate rather than a new updated rate. My maintenance requests were always handled within 24 hours. The roof deck is especially great, with lots of room for multiple groups of people to enjoy it and the gas grills and hammocks. My apartment was brand new and spacious

I wanted to stay in the neighborhood I grew up in and wanted a new, modern apartment and building so I chose to live at Assembly 118. The convenience of the location makes commuting to work easy and dining at a local restaurant a must. I had a few hiccups during my actual move-in process due to some repair work, but the staff, especially Claudia, were gracious and incredible helpful every step of the way to resolve issues as they arose.

After my last nightmare “rental experience“,the staff at Assembly118 are absolutely amazing and professional. Claudia, Robert, Jennifer and Jordan are an amazing team… and you can feel their connectedness.
I really appreciate how attentive they are to any need that arises — from maintenance emergencies to billing issues.
The amenities for the building are absolutely stunning! All of the in-apartment appliances are state of the art

I’ve been living at Assembly 118 since July 2018 and still living there! It’s in such a convenient place next to the best teriyaki, grocery store and the light rail! All the staff are friendly and the new management is amazing! Robert and Jordan thank you for always promptly helping me with anything I need and making my stay be the best!

Funny story: i actually used to live right across the street at The Station apts. i moved essentially because of the management, and this is the very thing that i love about assembly 118! fast response to my sometimes trivial "emergencies" and questions, coupled with multiple events hosted for funsies throughout the year for overall community morale is what makes this a great place to live! also, refuse rooms are usually maintained really well--cleanliness is huge for me!

Apartment interiors (Appliances, restroom, etc): the appliances offered are new and in good condition. The water flow is consistent and clean and any issues observed are quickly resolved. The size of the apartments are in line with what is seen in newer construction - not big but not too small either.
Apartment building facilities (Gym, rooftop, etc.): The rooftop has a spectacular 360 degree view and unobstructed view of Mount Rainier. The gym is big and well maintained. The staff is excellent at maintaining the premises and have hardly ever seen unkempt corners. Folks interested in gardening

I've never dealt with a place that had the worst communication with each other and with their renters. They've lost my rent a number of times and because of their error, I lost the online "privileges" to pay and had to resort to paying with money orders.
The parking is insanely small. You'll notice scratches on the side of vehicles, you'll see people struggling to squeeze out of their cars, and you'll see notes on each other's cars from vehicles that park next to them.
