Maintenance staff is terrible. Office staff has gotten better over the years, if your looking for a quiet apartment complex this is not the one. Apartments are really nice, but parking is terrible, maintenance staff loves to leaf blow everyday at 8am. :)

Great place to live, This place met all my expectations, my unit is great! I love the location, the scenery and the layout. Happy to call this place home, the park is lovely as well. Staff is always happy to help, but there have really been no problems...5 stars!

Multiple issues living here for almost 2 years.

Maintenance: Have had several instances where I submit a request and they come and say it's fixed without fixing it. One was a leaking ceiling, the guy came and said "oh we need a contractor for that" and no one ever came back (it's been 8 months) and the ceiling looks gross. Also have a drain in the ceiling above my bathtub that drips a thick discolored liquid into the tub, leaving a stain that I can't get rid of no matter how many products I've used. I better not be charged for this at move out.

Giving two stars because of the maintenance people. Quick response to inquiry during my lease. The three stars missing is due to the lack of proper management from the property managing staff. Charged me ridiculous money to replace the ENTIRE countertop (told me that it has been replaced but I doubt this since this place is renovated 20 year old buildings). Anyway, I paid my entire balance off and Stephanie, who no longer works here decided to screw me over by reporting a balance of 700.00 to recollection agency! While in their record it clearly states that the money was received and posted a day

Apartment: it’s pretty nice but definitely some complaints. When we moved in there were things we marked on the checklist that needed to be fixed and no one ever fixed them. Like carpet pulling up in some areas, balcony door not sliding correctly or locking. Then as we loved there realized other issues. All the faucets sometimes have black specs that come out of them. I moved here a couple of months ago and have been in love with this complex and my unit since. Everyone at the front office is very responsive and when any issues arise, they're quick to get solutions. It's a quiet place to live, not a lot of loud neighbors. The gym is decently equipped as well.

The only downfall to living here is how small the parking spaces are. I mean, this can't be controlled by the employees but, as a note, it is difficult to park bigger cars/SUVs/trucks in a space and uneasy as the chances of someone hitting your car aren't small.

Myself and my husband have been residence here for almost 3 years and we could not ask for a better complex and staff. During the winter ice storm that shut down the city. My husband and I were blessed to be out of town, however, our apartment was one of the units who's experienced a pipe bursting at 3:00AM. Pepe, (Maintenance) called us in New York to let us know and let us know he had went in our apt immediately and moved our furniture to save our belongings could be saved. He also moved our bed and tried to salvage as much as possible for us. With us being out of town there would not have been

This place feels like a real home! And I love everything about here, staff, management, service, community, neighborhood! The only thing that is a problem is parking, and I’m sure they will find a way to take care of it, if we get home around 9 pm we should be lucky to find a space to park after 15 to 30 minutes driving around . And also, I’m expecting the office staff send an email to all the residents to remind them about pet policy, I have seen a couple neighbors bring their big dogs without leash and some of then aren’t trained

I have lived here for over 10 years. Great place. The staff is very helpful. Joyce, Amber, and Stephanie are very helpful at all times. Jose and Pepe are my go to for any maintenance issues I may have. I would definitely recommend La Costa Villas for anyone looking for a safe and fun place to live.

We just love this apartment so much especially the management. Amber and Rejoice are always ready to give us a helping hand since me and my husband are not that knowledgeable when it comes to computer but with them two, we're on the go. As far as job orders, i highly commend Pepe for being so skilled and always offer his help and do the extra mile. And , Jose where everytime he sees us carrying heavy loads, he's always there to help us and so cheerful. I haven't got the chance to talk to Stephanie but every time she see me by the mail box corner, she always give me the sweetest smile

I do not suggest anyone move here unless you fully enjoy sweating while indoors. My air conditioner has been off more than it's been on because the maintenance guys consistently tell me to flip my circuit breaker back on instead of fixing the root cause. On top of that, even when the breaker is on, my vents pump out warm air because the A/C is poorly maintained.

I was warned from my intial visit from a tenant who broke her lease to move out the day I was looking. She said how unprofessional and bias they are. I did a self tour and liked the apartment, so i applied and in five days they said I was approved and i was looking to move in 40 days later. . Great, I thougt! The staff is so kind and so willing to work with you (have been so great during the coronavirus) !Madison walked through setting up auto pay with me and was so kind and patient. They also fix your maintenance requests fast and are willing to reach out to you. 10/10 place to live where you are actually cared for! Will be resigning :)

After living in this apartment for 9 out of the 11 months we signed for,
I would honestly not recommend it for anyone who values their living situation. Not only has our fees gone up while my roommate and I have lived here, but we have had to deal with numerous b.s.
From our sliding glass doors having a big enough crack between the door and the wall to let a wasp enter our apartment, to our water being contaminated with little black specs that may be led, and just by opening and closing the door to my bathroom, it has literally came off the henges.
We've had multiple situations where maintenance

So I stay in this complex for 15 months. This men that you see in the pictures when to do an upgrade in the restrooms pluming and they didn't saw my security cameras so I got them going through my clothes and all my stuff in the restroom. If there was and option to upload a video in there I will as I do have proof oh them taking my stuff. One of the men event pee in my restroom. Of cure I made a complaint about this and forward all the videos to the manager and they do nothing about this not even call me back. This apartment will give you very short notice when they want to do repairs that you didn't even request in the first place. They just come on in. They gave my parents who are third shifters less than a 24 hours notice that they are having their yearly inspection and that they are shutting off the water supply from 9am - 5pm for the next 4 days to reroute some long standing water issue (this wasn't emergency repairs/they had PLENTY of time to give them more notice). Definitely want to get a carport if you live here. Parking is limited but it's only $20 bucks for a space and completely worth it.

Staff is friendly and the residents keep to them selves. They are updating the apartments soon and I think I'm going to take one once they do.

Customer service is awful and just speaks in a friendly voice. On multiple occasions, there has been no parking available and they refuse to be of any assistance, and instead recommended that I park three blocks away and walk back in the dark of night to resolve the problem, even though we have designated parking. Full Disclaimer- I am a current resident. I've lived here for almost 1 year and there are definitely pros and cons to this place. This apartment complex is centrally located with access to mostly all major highways and tollways. There is also a 5-minute drive to a DART train station major plus for me since my husband takes the train to work. The buildings are old, so, unfortunately, there are always maintenance issues, my AC goes out every other month (no lie). The good thing is, maintenance usually responds within 2 days. But there will always be some reason why they need to enter your unit

While the apartment doesn't have top of the line amenities/upgrades, it is one of the more reasonably priced apartments in the area and is centrally located to everything. Maintenance is always there within 48 hours and the office staff has always been helpful when I had a question or needed anything. The parking situation was a nightmare a few months ago but management enforced new policies and it has improved significantly. I bought a covered spot because it's only $20 a month so I never had to worry about not having a place to park or being towed.

We only lived there one lease term. Our apartment flooded everytime it rained. They attempted several times to have people fix the leaks, but it was never successful. My car was hit on two occasions, while parked in my paid parking spot. Cars were broken into. Car alarms go off at every hour of the night on a nightly basis.
