I recently just moved to Los Angeles from New Jersey, and the experience I've had with the Windsor Community has been absolutely outstanding. To begin, my leasing agent (Delanie) provided me a full tour of the building and also helped me look for an apartment that fit my expectations. The area is absolutely beautiful. From having our own gym, lounging area, hot-tub, pool, and grilling area, I can honestly say that I've never seen anything quite like this. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT EXPECT TO BE SAFE ABD SECURE AT THIS LOCATION AWFUL WXPERIENCE MY CAR WAS STOLEN FROM THE PARKING STRUCTURE ! Not one once of help from Laura who almost seemed to be covering up something it was the third vehicle stolen in 3 months I have proof of that ! On top of that I felt so unsafe since there were car thieves in the building I needed to move and had to pay to break the lease even after the nightmare with the car. Very very unsafe and very very bad customer service look elsewhere !!!

Sunset + Vine has it all. I have lived here for three years and loved every minute of it. First, the grounds and amenities are beautiful, extensive and always well-maintained. The pool and hot tub, grilling area, several outdoor seating areas, gym and the newly remodeled lobby are all fabulous. There is so much lush shrubbery and vegetation--palm trees and flowers and plants--that it is hard to believe you are in the heart of Hollywood. The entire maintenance crew at sunset + vine is great. One of the better parts about living here. Fast and friendly. Especially Joel. Joel has gone the extra mile in every request I've made. Most recently driving over on a Sunday night to help me get in my locked apartment, all while being his kind positive self. Joel and the rest of the crew really provide a sense of community to the complex.

I moved to sunset and vine a few weeks back. As an Aussie leaving my country that can be super daunting. Everyone has a different experience but I’m so greatful. I feel safe in my apartment and my friends live in the complex. What more could I want. Awesome affordable rent for size and location and the minimal problems I’ve had where solved instantly. Awesome job to Ana my agent who’s so nice and efficient and the door staff security are always smiling and so sweet. thanks everyone who has also said hi and been lovely

I just moved out. I loved living here. The only reason for 4 stars is its a big community it must be hard to keep track of the construction (updates for the better) and the fobs not always working.
But to be real the maintence staff Joel & Jermaine (I hope I got correctly) amazing like time after time AMAZING people, who truly care. The others on the maintenance staff are also amazing as well but I did not have as many encounters, Still service was 100%+. The ront desk & security staff were also so real and kind. I will truly miss living here. They always made me feel secure and welcomed

The managements heart is in a good place, we have had some issues with our neighbor and they have really tried to help. We probably will renew our lease. Alexis and Anastasia are great and so are Laura and the other girl I can't remember her name. If you want to live here there are some good deals now. Prices will go up after the vaccine comes out I am sure. Much Love.

1. They are not helpful or understanding at all. The place constantly smells of smoke and if you want to break your lease or even transfers units they charge you a fee. Even though it's an unhealthy environment. And you want to move for health reasons.
2. Also the gate for the "secure" garage is always broken and stuck open. My bike got stolen from the garage and I had it locked. Someone came in and cut the cable. Security was never able to see anything on their security cameras.
3. There is a bug problem here as well. I've seen cockroaches crawling around outside and inside

Sunset & Vine is a comfortable living apartment building. The staff here is great! It’s normally quiet and people are friendly. Especially the maintenance crew, Howard and Jermaine. These guys know whats up. Any problems that may arise they come in and handle it. It’s always nice to have good people who are pleasant to be around and happy with the work they do. Been living here for over 2 years and have nothing but great experiences.

I lived here from 2017 until 2018. The amenities were meh, nothing special for the price. The living situation per se was quite alright.
Pro:
- Location is amazing- right on the Hollywood stars and very central.
- Some in the office were very friendly. Others .. well they may have had a bad day.
- Security guards were always very friendly.
Con:
- They weren't on top of things for any concerns. Kind of did certain things half heartedly.
- Somebody parked in my reserved spot twice, leaving me without a spot and they said they couldn't tow or do anything about it, except to wait for

I made two attempts to schedule a walk-through when I moved out but management was too busy I later discovered that they kept our entire $1000 security deposit and are threatening to send us to collections for the cost of a total carpet replacement.
We lived a clean and simple life in the apartment and they totally ran us over when we left. Document everything and send a written demand for a walkthrough prior to leaving.
And by the way, our car was broken into not once, but twice. Both my girlfriends car and my roomate.

I moved to LA last year and signed my lease with Sunset + Vine before I had even gotten here. I was initially nervous moving into a building I had not seen prior to move in, but the leasing office was so accommodating during the process and Facetimed with me to show me the building, amenities and unit. I just moved out of my unit this month and the only reason I left was because I no longer wanted to live in Hollywood and instead moved to any area that is a bit more residential.
The front desk staff are so nice and anytime I put a maintenance request in it was fulfilled within 24 hours. The building

I think this building used to have the reputation of being party central. As far as I can see this is not the case anymore- snoop dogg must have kept that alive for awhile tho ;) the property is lovely- firepits in common areas, a great pool, a sauna in the gym (!) and units that befit the price- sparkling quartz countertops, gas ranges, theyre all very modern and the lighting in my 1br is fantastic. At $2360 for my 760 sq ft 1 bedroom is kind of a bargain actually. I looked in weho @ similar properties like avalon or the dylan and it would be nearly 3k a month. They likely would not include parking

Just moved in on November 1st. Prior to moving in, I read a bunch of negative reviews about dog waste in common areas, a constantly broken jacuzzi and problems with fixtures...It all checked out. FML
First day here I stepped in a nice pile of dog sh*t outside of the elevator on the 2nd floor.
One of our key fobs didn't work. Had to be replaced
The door handle to my bathroom was installed backwards. Had to be replaced.
Jacuzzi is broken/drained and nobody knows when it will be fixed.
AT&T guy couldn't install internet/tv in my unit because the wiring was damaged. Still waiting

Long over due for a review! I just moved out as of Friday last week after almost 3 years of being a resident at sunset and vine.
First off, Sam and Solomon, you guys are the real MVPs! It was always a great day when I would bump into you guys. Thanks for always making me feel safe in my own complex.
Overall, the apartment complex is beautiful. Amenities are always kept clean, I always see staff daily polishing the area. Brook is also very nice and understanding to his residents.

The apartments are beautiful, maintenance team is pretty nice & responds quickly.
In the last year this building has definitely taken a turn for the worse.
From the loud DJ pool parties and girls screaming like they're at a day club in Vegas, being woken up in the early hours of the morning by loud music and subwoofers, constantly broken jacuzzi, fountains(worked when I moved in and not since then), elevators(been stuck, broken all the time), fireplaces in the common areas work 50% of the time.
Pee all over the floors, bad enough an employee of the building to have warned me against

Sunset and Vine.. where to begin. Multiple elevators are constantly out of order. As soon as they fix one the other goes. There is usually uncleaned animal urine in the working elevators and on the carpets in hallways.
The pool/hot tub is consistently over chlorinated, once even causing the hair on my legs to fall off (can provide pictures and doctors reports). The hot tub and sauna have both been out of order for multiple month periods in the two years I've lived there.

That homeless man another yelper posted wasn't just the doorman he was the elevator man as well. I shared an elevator with him for a week. He would follow people in and just hang out on the elevator. Once he followed me when I got off on my floor and I had had it. I called management and they told me that he is a resident at sunset + vine. Very rude management. I live here & security tried to kick me out for "loitering" around the outside balcony. I told him I lived here & he just laughed. I'm also spent nearly $200 to have a package delivered, but the person at the front desk refused it because he was too lazy to move it into the mail room as they are supposed to do... I now have to pay another $200 and have it shipped to my work address.
Also, the elevator has been broken for months now, and you can't enter the residences from the stairs, so enjoy your morning commute walking up the parking garage in

It doesn't hurt that we work right across the street - can you say lunch time work outs, hot tub dippin, and layin' by the pool!!! :) because that is totally what's about to start going down :) so if you too work or live in the area - I guess you can let us know which of our bikinis ya'll like best since the pool is pretty visible from all angles.
