I am going on my second year living here and have never had the experiences at an apartment complex as I've had here. First and foremost, as soon as I moved in I noticed there was a roach infestation and I see them come out from crevices in the walls. NOT OKAY! We've complained about them numerous times. Our smoke detector goes off in the middle of the night randomly for no reason! I've complained numerous times and they've sent someone a few times to change the smoke detector but it doesn't fix anything. It still goes off randomly. At this point I almost miss it in my sleep because I am so used

Let me tell you this! Briar hill apartments are the best in the area! First off, the office staff are super awesome, my leasing experience has been amazing! Ms. Victoria gave me a great tour, she knows all her info and kept it very real the whole time. Her personality is as beautiful as she is!

Maintenance is slow even for safety hazards and basic amenities. You probably won't feel like you are getting your money's worth, especially as the rates get raised. Living spaces are OK if poorly designed. The only thing maintenance did for the stairs in the photo was place a single orange traffic cone despite several weeks of communication.

I like this apartment complex. This is in the top three of my apartment list for Atlanta. SN: I've lived in seven different complexes since 2015. Don't ask but just know I've lived in a variety of communities.
Here's my break down of Briarhill Apartments:
Maintenance- The complex is maintained and if there's any maintenance related issue, they are very prompt to address it.
Office people- very helpful and pleasant
Amenities- pool is nice; have yet to try the other amenities
Parking- parking is tough if you have a truck at times. Can find parking but may not be right by your building.

I moved here in January of this year. I am very happy I chose to live here. The area is very quiet and most everything you need is in a close distance. The staff is wonderful. I am a senior and Dawn the Office Assistant helped with finding the right place for me. She made it possible for me to get a unit that fit my needs and it was ready sooner. I really appreciate her for that. It really makes everyday life easier. Anything that is needed in my unit all the staff are quickly available to take care of it for me. My plan is to live here for a very long time.

I've lived here for over a month and I feel like I'm family with the management and staff. When I first moved in my apartment wasn't perfect but they did everything they could to make it right and I was compensated for the problems. The location is terrific. And the free internet and cable alone make it worth taking a look at. All in all I'm happy here and will probably renew my lease.

Briarhill Apartments, like any other complex, has its ups and downs but there is a difference in making changes to do better or doing nothing at all. I will say they are making changes for the better. Briarhill brings a family vibe, student vibe, and the working single adult vibe. They bring convenience to access highways, healthy conscious eating spots, and quiet living. If you need this in your life, visit Briarhill Apartments. 😊

The most horrible living experience I've ever had , our apartment were MICE AND MOLDED INFESTED!! The office says they will talk care of it but never actually come and do anything, I literally had to go out and by my own mice traps !!!! It was the worse . . There are multiple drug dealers who live in the complex , one day i came out the apartment and there were tons of cops and snipers everywhere for one apartment!!! Also around Christmas I saw the police arrest atleast 10 squatters (homeless people living in vacant apartments) it was the worse they have had so many different managers I hope

Wouldn’t recommend it at all. The entire community is practically trashed, neither entrance has an operating gate nor callbox, the business center is functional, leasing staff unprofessional, I mean the list just goes on. Not to mention, the homeless people walking through the neighborhood at night.

Lived here for two years now and wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE. The managers and maintenance people never get anything fixed. There is no upkeep what so ever, nor are there any renovations to speak of. We pay so much for rent at an almost 30 year old complex, WHERE THE HELL IS OUR MONEY GOING? The pool is opened TWO months at best a year and that's if they pass an inspection. Also people have been getting robbed here and management doesn't seem to care. So much incompetence here it's not even funny.

During my tenure here I was met with terrible management, neglect for resident issues, and disorganization on the behalf of the leasing office. My apt bathroom was flooded during my tenure during a re pipping incident and it took briarhill three weeks to fix the hole in my roof. After I left briarhill in April I have yet to receive my security deposit due to a lack of organization by the leasing department. Good luck trying to get in touch with the manager, it's one of the most difficult tasks one can accomplish in atlanta.

I have lived here for about 2 years and going on my third. Having started with a roommate then moving into a 1br I had a really good experience with Derek the manager. He has been there the longest I think. Since changing to monguard management they have hired competent property managers that actually smile when you come in to pick up your package. Another plus is your packages don't get stolen here. The gate is never broken ( maybe 5x in 2 yrs and for just a day left open) The complex was built in 1989 so it's not new but the units are up to date. If anything breaks they replace it.

BE WARY, MANAGEMENT ARE SCAMMERS!
I lived here for a year in a unit with a washer/dryer several decades old, it repeatedly failed to wash my clothes and when it did it ripped them up.
But the real reason you should think twice before living here is that two months past my move-out I had yet to receive my deposit back, I contacted the leasing office and received no response until several days later. They wanted to charge me $940 (already subtracting my $300 deposit) for a handle that was missing on the dryer and a drawer missing in the fridge. $940??! Both of these appliances were very old and

The following letter is a complaint I sent to Briarhill. They responded with essentially "sorry, you signed the agreement to pay the fee *shoulder shrug*" and came in to fix only the molded wall.
To whom it may concern;
I am very unhappy and dissatisfied with how I've been treated and the conditions in which I was expected to put up with at Briarhill Apartments.
When my roommate and I moved in only a few months ago, we were excited under the pre-tense that we were moving into a luxury apartment. Since then our list of complains began to grow so long it was no longer acceptable

I lived here 7 months and enjoyed my time. I lived on the 2nd floor to avoid the bug problem that apts tend to have so I didn't see any. I didn't have break in issues in my apt or car nor did I ever feel it was unsafe here (we got one facing the parking lot and gate for added security). I used to jog after 10pm all the time around the block without incident. We got a non-updated unit to keep rent low so it was just okay but I knew it was old going into it but it wasn't run down or dirty. The rent was the cheapest in the area so we chose it.
